People need to stop saying this is "bait". When sam says "competitive toon deck profile" he means optimized toons. Nobody said meta breaking or top tier or anything like that Anyways great profile as always sam, I like the going second direction with the deck comic hand is surprisingly strong

"Optimized" still doesn't necessarily mean it is a deck that's competitive viable. So, when it is not competitive viable it is just wrong to call it competitive. Doesn't matter what he meant, he just used the wrong wording.

Get rid of Toon Defence and run another Harpy. Also here's another combo. Cross Dimensional Duel + Toon Ancient Gear Golem + Toon Rollback. 12,000 direct damage one turn

I always love your animations Sam before the profile. First tournament today in years and I'm running my own build of nekroz but still using part of yours. Ran several simulations and test draws and it's a 1 out of 10 to get a dead hand at most. Every other hand I've gotten has had 2 to 3 ways to go off. Hoping to do good.

@@yugiwinninglex I just mean I use double engines. Impcantation and deskbot but instead of krystia I use vanity's ruler and I use different numbers of the cards like for example 1 trishula, 2 unicore. Everyday I find something to change to make it even more consistent or defensive

This is what Toons need Toon Vorse Raider Cannot attack the turn it is summoned. (Quick effect) If toon world on the field would be removed from the field for any reason, you can tribute this face up monster instead. If you control Toon world and your opponent controls no toon monster this card can attack directly. ATK 1900 DEF 1200 And just like that Toons would be meta Konami see this please !!!!!!!!!

I’ve been playing toons for a long time and toon world does help out a lot in my opinion because sometimes you don’t get toon kingdom quick enough and toon world helps especially since most of everything in the deck needs toon world or toon kingdom.

Sam could you try learning pendulum decks? It'd give plenty of variety for video potential such as Odd-Eyes and D/D/D or even Metalfoes (I think that's what they're called.) Also I love the toon deck and it gives hope for underrated archetypes that don't have as much support as they should such as Crystal Beasts.

A neat suggestion for a deck profile that utilizes cards from Toon Chaos, why not a Chaos deck? Structure deck plus these cards, plus neat dragon support. It'll probably turn into a trash dragon link but i think it would be cool to see Chaos Creator and Darkpulsar/Lightpulsar in a deck together

06:52 - Why does Black Stone of Legend still say "except "Red-Eyes B. Chick"" when it's now called Black Dragon's Chick? Apparently Black Stone has had no English errata, and Black Dragon's Chick got that name around 2010.

Because only the last reprint (lds1) has the errata, and they are common , those are ultra , you cannot change already printed cards

I play Toon World at 1 copy because Toon Kingdom is not Toon World until is activate, so Toon Bookmark can't protect it from destruction (MST or something). Also if you have TW and a searcher in first hand, you can discard TW with DM's effect and with the searcher search Toon Kingdom. You don't want to search it never, but it can be useful some times if you don't draw TK.

I’d personally play more toon monsters, to avoid running out of page flip targets. If you drew one Red Eyes, and played page flip and the other was summoned, you’d be relying on Toon Harpy Lady as a target. I really enjoy playing Toon Gemini Elf since special summoning just became so much easier and with the protection from Toon Kingdom and Toon Terror, I can constantly eat at cards in my opponents hand. I also feel 2 BLS is enough, since special summoning from the deck with Page Flip or Dark Magician means you don’t really need to draw your toon monsters, Red Eyes’ affect is just an added benefit. Nonetheless, great build! That Nibiru/Comic Hand combo is sick.

Toons have always been a going first deck but it's easier now to go second with Toon Page Flip (quick play) Toon BLS (no summoning sickness) and Toon Bookmark (added search power and protection) but to say playing Toons as a going first deck is wrong is ridiculous tbh
