Its not fixing deck problems. It almost bringst salaman great back to its roots BUT the roots were the reason why the deck couldnt keep up with meta decks. And the meta decks didnt became worth! So where is he fixing problems?
congratulations for this result from Italy I have played more than 8000 games with the online deck I had already tested something similar but I realized I was losing too many games with lost dice. and I abandoned these lists focused almost exclusively on the lock and returned to the classic 15 HT Congratulations again on the result Sala Best Deck
This deck has the staying power Fire Fists once did which is one of my all-time favorite decks. Love both Salamangreat and Fire Fists. I pray Fire Fists get some new support to bring them back up to speed.
You can also play Little Knight instead of Dweller since it's easy to get the first effect with a link based deck. You can get fire-locked but that usually happens first turn when you need resources so it doesn't matter as S:P will be summoned in turn 2 and later.
I have a question: why not play crossout designator over fire recovery in the main together with a copy of nibiru instead of called by? Crossout shits all of ash, droll, nib, imperm and crow with your deck which are your main cards to lose to
Crossout is a bad card. I could write an essay on how bad that card is, but the short answer is that the maths behind the card mean it is bad significantly more often than it is good.

@@sakaiiyuji7977 Ash or Imperm don't hurt the deck that much so Crossout is exclusively for Nibiru while Fire Recovery also covers that and is not absolutely useless if they don't hand trap you like Crossout is.
@@averagejoe9229 ESPECALY Ash is very bad against salamangreat because you almost ONLY draw 1 card or take one card from your deck and thats exactly what ash is hindering
And besides....you said your final combo should be Raging Phoenix and 2 trap cards.... WHAT trap cards? For what ive seen...you only can protect phönix lets see....two times through trap cards+1 balelynx+1 time phoenix in graveyard effect. So 4 Protections...but that seems realy weak in the current meta there are felt like tons of effects

and just 3 ash and 3 infinite impernance? damn he would so heavily lose against mine salamangreat deck. i have tons of hand traps and cards...he wouldnt even be allowed to bring his monsters up
Ok the cards he is using the last time i used them in my deck (most of the cards) were in 2021...after that....those cards were crap. Heat leo? SERIOUSLY and CHIMERA? wtf? His deck looks like he was against some lil kids who didn+t know how to play their decks....were is his acces code talker? for example? and 3 buffalos? where is his parallel exceed? and so on and so on.
Parallel exceed is somehow bricky You need your salad engine and it's more than enough And ofc the handtraps are more important And the new chimera combo is otk if you are locked in fire Id say buffalo is a 2 bit I didn't test it that much
I'm very curious about his matchups and how many times he won the die roll. That being said, I don't know how you can question the 3 bufferlo. Going first it can draw you into more non-engine to beef up your board, and it's pretty unstoppable playing into boards, setting up your grave and getting more resources to play into the opponents board. Parallel exceed is pretty win-more and would be very clunky in this fire-focused build. Bad with bufferlo, bad with salamangreat of fire, and it doesn't help you do anything other than make dweller/bagooska which is bad against half of the decks. Your goal is raging phoenix and 2 traps, which is very good against literally every deck. As for no Accesscode, it's a similar reason. It's clunky in the deck with miragestallio and salamagreat of fire, it takes up many extra deck slots, and it's not even a game winner most of the time. Miragestallio is such a powerful card, you'd rather use that to break your opponents board while gaining resources, and the go into a guaranteed OTK with chimera. Also all doable under the floodgates he's playing. Heatleo is also pretty cool. Quite a few decks in the format set up backrow disruptions and heatleo is a great way to force them out naturally within your combo. I'm amazed that this deck made it to top 32, and I can only imagine that it was on the back of many favorable die rolls and good matchups, but that being said, the list is very focused and cohesive and is able to MASSIVELY capitalize on those favorable conditions. Salamangreat is a fairly weak deck in the format, and you need to get at least a little lucky to do well, and I think the deck building actually takes that into account and is the reason for it's success.
@@_yamiberserker8819 Salamangreat ONLY Fire combo deck isnt without a reason out of date! And just the simple Raging pheonix and 2 Trap cards isnt enough to keep you going against strong decks.
@@elijahbuscho7715 You ask how i can question this? Because i play against strong decks and strong oppenents who KNOW what they do. I often play against player who have BILLIONS of graveyard destroying effects bannishing effects interruptions and so on and so on...not to talk about almost EVERY deck can outplay an salamangreat deck through their sheer power. 3 buffalos is way to much 1 is enough or maybe 2 but 3 is way to much. And wow you say dweller is bad....yeah right did you played against yugioh player who used non graveyard effects?`so just beginner duelists? Btw there are many cards who cn lock you out from element summonings! You should know (if you didnt just started lately) that SINGLE element decks are very risky and can easily knocked out! And why do you explain mirage stallion to me? I know that this card is amazing! And why NO heatleo? cuz there are so many alternates. If you using cards like heatleo and only cards like sunlightwolf you limiting yourself so much. and Especially because you said you limiting yourself to fire.....so i assume you didnt used nibiru? And THAT in an now dominated by Calamity Lock meta! So you didnt met such an oppenent that would mean you were realy lucky. And i am only saying that THIS...your deck like you showed us..is not consistentits to easy to break in ATK, easy to outplay, and almost EVERYONE who played since more then 2 years yugioh knows EXACTLY how salamangreat works...so he knows exactly how to bait and lur you into traps...when to activate his handtraps against you at the right time and so on! So even more reasons to NOT just simply stick to the old deck design of salamangreat!
