🌹🔥Kurama had the BEST fight in the series!

Kurama and Hiei’s fights are a mix of their first and last match of the Dark tournament. I love both fights in LA they look great. I pretty much went into this LA, not expecting a season 2 or a 1 to 1 of the anime. So I’m fine with them putting everything in, like Yoko and the dragon. I only wish Genkai & Yusuke’s relationship was better done, it’s almost non existent. Also personally I wish we’d have seen Kurama’s actual Fox form in this fight or when he explained his history in ep. 2

I'm not sure you guys are grasping that this IS the dark tournament of the live action. He used Yoko while fighting this guy too, so it was kinda necessary to include the form. Also, that's exactly what happened in the fight. He used Yoko, ran out of power to maintain the form, reverted back to base. The kill and no blond hair/ visible bombs were really the only major changes to the fight. If we get a season 2 or more, it's likely going to backtrack and cover other characters and arcs they skip. S2: saint beasts(maybe rando too) S3: Sensui, portal again, but could succeed S4: 3 kings arc. But unless we do get a complete redo of the dark tournament, it's season one of the live action. And it would be difficult to redo.

In the anime the last part of Kurama's fight is similar. He is caught and swallowed up by several of the plant's leaves, and in doing so, Karasu's mask accidentally falls off. He bursts through the plant and changes his hair from black to blonde. Using his own body as an explosive, Karasu causes an explosion which blows a hole in the stadium. While the Yoko survives the attack, he returns to his human form before emerging from the debris. As a last possible resort, Kurama attacks Karasu head on. Using only martial arts he is able to plant a bloodthirsty seed onto his adversary's chest. Unfortunately, Karasu was well aware of this trap and quickly removes and then destroys the seed. He then ignites a bomb onto Kurama's left foot before surrounding him with a minefield of shapeless bombs. As the bombs slowly explode around him, Kurama is pinned to the ground. Noticing the bleeding in Karasu's chest, Kurama gathers the last of his life energy in order to create a vampire tree that pierces the wound in Karasu's chest, draining his blood and killing him in the process. So it was correct that he lost his form before winning the fight since for the transformation he used a potion that regress the opponent age to a baby but with Kurama it turn him to his old demon form (another enemy used it for the first time against him and this is where he transformed for the first time), after he receive that potion but using it multiple times to test it before the finals but realize that every time he use it the transformation time is reduced

I was hoping based on the trailors and I realized that Toguro was in this season, that they would do the rescue Yukina part for this season and then the dark tournament next season. I thought that would be the perfect set up for the dark tournament. But no, they completely cut out the dark tournament (or kinda combined it with rescuing Yukina). The anime is known for having the best tournament arc in the history of anime and they decided to completely cut it out. The Dark tournament wasn't all about fighting. It had a lot of character development, a lot of heart., some of the most touching things happen during that arc and they've just decided to cut that all out. I do like the show, but I think that was a big mistake on their part. I'm assuming they didn't have much say and were told this is what they had to do for this season (at least I hope so because if people who love and know the anime decided this, that was a huge mistake). I still think the biggest thing that bothered me the most this season was Yusuke receiving that orb of power and nothing happened. In the anime, that was a huge moment. It was work, it was pain and ultimately love and caring that allowed him to absorb that orb. Here it was nothing. Also, I liked all the casting except for Botan. I just don't feel like her acting is that great and I cringe quite a bit when she is on screen. Maybe it wasn't the actress herself, but how the director wanted her to act and maybe I'm the only one who feels this way.

The way Kuwabara kicked Keiko had me rolling 😂 the way Yusuke kicked him in Episode 1

I am afraid they only got this season for yyh so they went all out

I lost a lot of respect for the show when I saw the blond furry ears😂😂😂.. Did not ruin it for me but I was like WTF is the furry fetish b.s.😂😂

Well they did give us 2 of the best fights - Karasu vs Kurama and Bui vs Hiei. The first fight was close to the original despite the potion but since there is no dark tournament we let it slide. Second fight though Hiei hit Buil with the dragon of the darkness flame but he survived it so Hiei had to absorb the dragon to do a much stronger attack which won him the fight. Overall though pretty soild fights.

This is a L, last episode too a little. BUT THIS IS A MAJOR L.
