it cannot Search Field , because the Fieldspell only mentions a yubel monster and not directly Yubel itself

"Yubel" is a full card name. ["Yubel" monster] is an archetype. The keyword "mentions" works only with full card names (for example the OG Dark Magician, or Fallen of Albaz... full card names). For anyone still confused think of "Yubel" as a first name, and "Yubel" monster as a last name.

Spirit of Yubel can not add the field spell, it doesn't mention Yubel. Getting a second nightmare pain would be good though.

While spirit of yubel not being able to search the field spell they should still search something. Its a misplay if you don't imo. Why not have an extra card in hand for follow up or as a free discard fodder. Its like a tell you dont have super poly if you dont search to ensure you have a discard. Eternal favorite is also good for follow up.

Cydra exactly like yubel has the issue that one player can always contact fusion the entire board, at least in yubel you need to draw the Super Poly

Mature Chronicle goes absolutely stupid in the mirror. That card gets to like 10 counters in no time.

Psy Frame mirrors are the absolute worst mirrors of all time. Nothing happens because it can't. Outside of Wind Up Rabbit and Card Car D, nothing can really attack let alone be summoned.

Super poly gotta go honestly, any card you can’t interact with needs to have some restrictions like DRNM/ultimate slayer and especially not be so game changing. If they keep cracking down on wombo combo negate boards the card doesn’t need to stay legal

If you playing Yubel, you best be playing Kaijus, at least for the mirror. Give the opp a body you can attack

You dont need to give the opponent bodies. Yubel can easily link climb into 8k damage.

And even if not they can summoning multiple yubels to crash into your highest attack monster then fuse into loving defender to burn for game.
