Get a diesel heater for your truck that idle all nite will kill that motor if it has DPF .

I drive for Horizon they gave me a Florida run after the Fall safety school meeting. Contractors can come five days a week two classes each day. They also have the meetings at their west coast division office in Oregon. The company gets better insurance rates by having such requirements to attend. They also sent a percentage of the class for drug screening

Mr. T. ..... The latest Fall-Winter Mandatory training at Horizon/Wave Express did not offer loads for most drivers. This training was also located at the off-campus driver lounge not at the Corporate Headquarters as normal. No lunch, no refreshments. Out of the 20 of us drivers, only a few had loads. I acquired my load driving down to the class. I believe RV transport will only get worse. Our loads have a max mileage of 2.05 per mile for the heavy units. Drivers are leaving the RV transport business because the profit margins are at a all-time-low. Rubber prices are up, transport fees are up, unladen insurance is up, maintenance expenses are up, but no increase in mileage. This IS THE GREAT RESET for RV Transport. The RV Transport Owners know they are ""Fat"" on employees. I have a feeling they want to get down to 400-500 drivers per company. This economy if it continues will give these RV Transport owners their wish. Just my .02

I'm with horizon they are doing the safety meet twice a day for 2 months and you just go to it when your in town. I don't think it's a big deal I did mine over a month ago.

I'm not deleasing, but as of the first of December I'm going inactive, which i can do that for up to 6 months and not carry my commercial insurance and go back easily. sorry not a pickle fan .. you were talking about gas mileage in my 2019 Ram 2500 6.7 i put intake and injectors basic tune in my truck and got a lot better fuel mileage to me it was worth the almost 2.6k

Wait. You said the guy pulled out of the lot because he didn’t have service and wanted to drive to next exit to apply for permit. He got pulled over immediately and given a $500 criminal citation, so he did his work to get the permit and left. 😂 He should have done that to begin with. If he could do it AFTER he got a ticket, he could have done it BEFORE! I hope he explained it differently to the judge, because your explanation doesn’t make sense…and if it doesn’t make sense, it’s not true.

We can't blame everthing on China. They put them together here in the United States and most of them are put together by hard working Amish. But when you watch videos of how the are made and the worker are running to see how many they can put out in a day and the company is bragging about how many they can put out in a day, watch out. Putting white gloves on a Amish lady and filming her walking around a finished camper inspecting it while rubbing it with the white gloves calling it final inspection just is not working. They then know once you buy it they will have to fix all the things that were not done right but it will be on your time not theirs and not slow down their daily output. They have already figured in the cost they charge you up front to fix them on you time. It might be 1 week or it might be months on your time to get it fixed. Price of diesel up, intrest rate going up, nightly site rates up. Good luck, I have enjoyed watching your videos, being able to fix you own trucks can only save you money if it is hauling loads.

It's sad to say but 95% of these campers are junk. I don't know if it's the cheapest parts they can find to build them or the people putting them together just don't care but probably both. I have a 5th wheel now but will never buy another one. If I had the money I would buy an Airstream.
