Around the time of Halloween, I embarked on a road trip with 2 friends I have made since living in Tulum - Jess (@lifeandtravelsofjess) and Alex (@alexandwhite). The original plan was to visit Los Coloradas and Isla Holbox, but with hurricane season in full swing, our trip did not exactly go as planned.

Loved this adventure! Your Spanish was very impressive. I was so glad to see that you uploaded a video as I was wondering how you had faired thru the Hurricane as some of my family in Honduras barely survived and we lost one family member who drowned when their home was flooded. I said prayers for you as well and so glad you are safe and well. I will be looking forward to the next vlog. Blessings from East Tennessee, USA. xx

I absolutely love your videos😍 I went backpacking in Australia for 6 months but I ended up staying over a year now. Currently in Adelaide and been for the last 6 months, I also have a boyfriend now! I remember watching all your backpacking videos and all packing videos and you helped me so much. I’m so happy I decided to go by myself from Sweden to Australia. I was in Cabo San Lucas a few years ago and decided to leave three days early ... As soon as I landed in San Diego and rested my head on a hotel pillow the news showed people in front of a mall I walked past daily for six months wading through water...waist deep... after a hurricane hit. 😄 Yes indeed... Mexico has hurricanes. Good show... and what a nice body you have! Me oh my oh

I visited Merida in January of this year and I loved it, it’s suuuuch a different vibe to Tulum, and I met so many locals. I imagine it’s quite different at the moment but the food market near parque de santa lucía is incredible 🙏🙏🙏 I hope you get a chance to salsa dance here!

Haha the pink lake reminds me of when I was in Western Australia last March and went to a Pink Lake... which was only salt and no water because it was so hot and dry hahaha about 40°C

Looks like you're having a great time in Mexico! It's nice hearing you speak Spanish! I'm also learning Spanish and I find it so easy to understand what you're saying as you're also English and talk a lot slower then the locals haha, they speak too fast for me to understand so it's nice to actually be able to understand some spoken Spanish haha! You should definitely speak Spanish in more videos! I can't wait to be able to travel again, but for now it's been nice to watch your videos and travel virtually through watching them haha!

Cool to see some places I hadn't seen before. Thanks to Brexit I won't be able to stay where I am, and going to live in the UK isn't really a decent option for me. So it's looking like I'll have to travel somewhere to live for a few months at least. So far Mexico seems one of the few options I'll probably have, so looking forward to the next few videos for some more ideas (already starting to map some places :P)

LOL I think that we are probably going to be spending some time in Mexico! If you would’ve asked me in your last video if I was going to live in Mexico? I would’ve answered “no way”. Not that I don’t think it’s nice. I just didn’t think it was on the agenda. Now I’m thinking it’s probably on the agenda!!!! I own property in the Bahamas. Well as it turns out it would probably be a better sailing course of action out of Mexico than the top of Florida. Who knew who would’ve thought? So I have been watching a lot of Mexican travel living/lifestyle vlogs. Getting excited!!!

Christianne, well done...as always! The drone footage adds so much production value to this vlog. Do you still have yours? I know it's just more stuff to lug around, but the end result is breathtaking. Love the editing pace. I really wish GoPro would design a waterproof camera case that does not wreck your nat sound. You really are a lovely ambassador of the UK to everyone you encounter in your travels! You go chica!
