Karl Plagge, helped save Jews during the Holocaust in Lithuania, while being an SS general. And more specifically, he did this at the Vilna Ghetto.

correction: he serve for Heer (German Army), not SS (pls dont attack me, ive seen too much people who got mass insulted for fixing other ppl things)

As someone who has jews in the family, I remember how my jewish ancestor fought in WW2 and how his relatives were killed by germans, and now we can see, that hatred towards jews has not gone away, that this persecuted folk must fight for its survival again. מיר װעלן באזיגן, ייִדן! װי א 79 יאָר צוריק!
