April 13, 2023 Philharmonie de Paris #sibelius #etude #yujawang This was played as one of the encores after Piano Concerto No. 3 by Finnish contemporary composer Magnus Lindberg.
I see Yuja Wang as to how the Chinese people have evolved from an agrarian society to be the leaders in every Academic Discipline. Yuja Wang represents the freedom of Art to be whoever you want to be. For the first time in Classical Music we see a beatiful Lady being proud of her beautiful legs. She is a pretty woman but most important, an free Lady Artist not being restrained by stupid dress codes and prudish critique. I love her.
Играет, как заводная обезьянка и так же выглядит. Простите! Но это не имеет отношения к классике. А поклон! Может в китайской культуре так принято?....
The best version of this song... so far. Two voices along the song that other pianist can not get it. Maybe so fast, but only Yuja can play it at that speed
Try to search 'Denis Matsuev - Sibelius - Piece for Piano No 2, Op 76' here on RU-vid. This piece by Sibelius is not about a faster tempo; it's has a deeper feel to it, which Denis delivers much better.
Shut up and listen to her music 🤦♂️ I admire her modern approach to classical music, especially through her unique sense of style. It makes the scene less “elite” and more approachable for people who don't know classical music!
