I read a comment stating that the childhood friend's sister wanted to communicate with Yuki, so that's why she learned sign language, so he followed his sister. I'm not sure if that's true or not.

So 'childhood friend' picked up sign from his sister who learned. NOT specifically for Yuki. Just uses it to talk shit to her basically. Check back @ ep.3

Personally, I feel that he really wants to communicate with her and is using his tsundere attitude to cover it up. Same with his feelings for her and that he wants to protect her (though, his way is a bit toxic for my liking...he needs to tone that down). I never read the manga, so I'm guessing something happened in the past to Yuki, would explain why he is acting that way.

6:20 Childhood Friend is angry at the result of ignoring years of opportunities to become more than just childhood friends. CF's tend to lose because they become complacent and think things are just going to stay the same while trying to move forward might break it. You don't reap what you don't sow.

Yes, it's a fast paced romance but I really love the manga, it's soo good and the story is really good. I suggest you to read the manga.It's totally cute and wholesome shoujo manga ^^
