Been here three years and haven't seen anything change. I have counted 11,562 drops of rain. Sunsets change every night.

What's stopping you?. I know wages in AZ are pretty sh1t if you're not in Phoenix but Yuma has nice winters, maybe just fly up to NY for the summer?

How you get from Yuma to New York

15 is usually the base now. Hot as hell right now. Ugggggs. New homes and a crap load of people now. Traffic even in the summer now. Home prices were at a all time low last year and now they have shot up beyond belief. Its changing fast. Californians flooded in.

@@franklin3271 Yes, I left in 2007, go back in the summer for a couple of months staying at West Wind RV park & Resort. I love the heat, desert and Yuma, where I established deep roots with folks. I live mostly laong the tropical beach dive resorts in Philippines! Missing YUMA...

Hi , the climate , weather, and quality of life are better in Yuma , i guess.. i watch this video cause Yuma has the reputation of " sunniest town in the world " . For information , in France the minimum wage is +/- 13 USD per hour ( based on 7h a day ).

They come off the 8 and do a loop of old town. Then go off 4th towards the west on 3rd and u turn around Avenue A. Back to 4th. Then down 1st to A and u turn. Back to 4th and go a ways south to 24th. U turn and back to 4th. Right one 1st at that end of old town and then meander out Quechan rd. Much more to this town! I hope everyone watches this and say "what a one horse town!" And git back on the freeway and head to the big city Zeke! (sense of humor) huma...yuma...

It's true -- the only sunnier places are on the Moon or Mercury. Yuma is the best place on Earth for sun lovers.

Cheaper at Sams Club or if you have Frys points. Its 119 in the foothills so not much driving right now 😔

Difference in pricing isn't because of anything special that YUMA is doing. For ages, Yuma has generally had higher gas prices than much of Arizona. So -- really not a valid comparison.

It's currently $3.69 /gal in Yuma as of Nov. 29, 2021.

@@supkoopertttt8777 Yuma is the sunniest city in the world. Yes it's true, check it out.! It is also one of the hottest places in America during the summer. Many people leave because of the heat. Everyone knows southern AZ is ridiculous, just be aware of what you're getting yourself into. A place with a swimming pool is the best.

Oh yeah, Mr. G's 😋 Used to ditch the high school lunch sometimes to go get some beef rolled tacos from G's 😋. I remember the tunnel we used to go across to get there.

why did you leave in the first place

maybe nice to see - from a distance - but there was more to do, and more places to go even back in 80's. Very little open after 7 pm. And the 'city fathers - oh and mothers' focus on north end and 16th St have resulted in blight elsewhere.

I live in Yuma, window tinting is practically mandatory. The summers here are absolutely brutal, this winter has been unseasonably cold.

@@oxyman10 Do you think also a back window "grille" or "Louvers" as they're called, would help much with the heat? I'd guess they probably won't help much maybe a degree or two. ??

It is. 100 miles either way to Phoenix and San Diego. The closest other sizeable settlements are El Centro and the Mexican city of Mexicali. The landscape all around is barren rocky desert.

It is . I spent 3 years stationed at Yuma Proving Ground.

It’s because it’s so hot there during the day. It gets up to 120 degrees in the summer. People don’t normally walk around downtown until evening or during the winter.

I guess I can see you enjoyed other places. Literally would love to do that soon… Life is truly strange sometimes.

3 hour drive not bad but its the Phoenix traffic that stinks. Gotta leave late or super early.

@@franklin3271 Big cities suck as you get older...me Philly, LA, Malibu, then YUMA, and across the Pacific at Dauin along a tropical beach, diving resorts. YUMA IS A GREAT PLACE ...HALFWAY TO PHX AND SAN DIEGO, SAME DISTANCE TO LA AND LAS VEGAS , I have drove it lots. I love driving ...either rentals, or my convertible MBZ...fun in the sun...no traffic when the SNOW BIRDS go North! Yuma is next to Mexico, dentists, booze, food and pharmacies, and fun!

That's when any road work begins .... and it becomes difficult to go anywhere without encountering detour; but of course the roadwork done is all to 'showcase' specific areas, or benefit 'pet projects' and areas. Yes, I guess best thing about Yuma is ability to be in S.D. or Phx in 3 hrs - haha yes I guess best part of Yuma is LEAVING it. And Mexico? Hmmm, sorry to interject reality into your advert but 'fun in Mexico' is thing of past: border is still limited to essential travel and border closes at like 2 p.m. Driving THRU Yuma is different then living here

@P. P not really there is alot to do here in yuma like camping ,hiking , fishing , shooting range , flot downs, and more.
