Now that I think about it, I kind of understand why zalgo sends you to the maze if you stay for too long. Imagine if someone you have never seen before just barged into your room without warning and started stepping all over your face. I’d be pretty annoyed too.
I hate this event. It viscerally offends my human senses. But I also love it because it's impressive that a few abstract images and sound effects can bother me so much.
Yeah, but are you a fan of Yume Nikki? I've never heard you talk about it before. I do plenty of Yume Nikki videos because it's my favorite thing in the world! Although I'm yet to find a person who's a fan of both Yume Nikki and DHMIS like I am.
Really?! Awesome!! Finally, another person who loves DHMIS and Yume Nikki just like me!! This is so awesome! Make sure to never look up walkthroughs on those games though, explore at your own pace. I hope you make videos on it because Yume Nikki is criminally underrated. Coolness! :)
How funny that you say that! I'm working on an RPG Maker 2003 game myself called "More Lies" that's basically DHMIS meets Yume Nikki in terms of story and gameplay. I think the two go great together, somehow! There are some outdated videos of More Lies on my channel, but on June 1st I'm going to post a playable version.
I do not mind Zalgo that much, like, you barge into his home, you step on his face, obviously he gets increasingly angry at you. Same obviously goes for Dark Nexus, I love that stuff over there, it isnt too horrifying. I have been traumatized more by a random wooden door closing in an area Ive been through in the past, that was not so fun.
“Many consider Yume 2kki to be the scariest and most unsettling game, compared to Yume Nikki and dotflow. The game itself contains many creepy events, and hidden easter eggs..Zalgo being one of them. The room itself is a reference to the creepypasta Zalgo, a demonic Eldritch entity known to hijack various forms of media. The Magnet Room is an area you can access in the Red Streetlight world; a room filled with magnets that bounces your character around. In order to get to the easter egg, activate the machine in the southwest corner of the room and turn on one of the blue balls. There’s a fenced off section of wall on top of the room with a crevice in it; head directly south from where the crevice is pointing before going into the north area of the blue cube. Push you character to the crevice, and you can then interact with it. … As soon as you do that, however, you’ll soon wish you hadn’t. A large pale face becomes visible in the background, with various tentacles covered in eyeballs attached to it, all the while, a distorted jumble of sounds can be heard. The more you wait in this area, the more the face distorts, almost like a wax statue melting-jaw unhinging, with the eyeball drooping. Along with that are the sounds of wet fleshy noises and many forms of laughter. These sounds will speed up, with an intensifying, pounding noise…as if someone or something is approaching you fast.. After a few minutes, you’ll be dropped off into the intestines maze, which many players..might consider a mercy…”
Yume 2kki does not contain any major jumpscares. The only one I can think of right now that I'd categorize as a borderline-jumpscare would be the face on the Namakubi Path in the Shinto Shrine, of which the image changes instantly while walking along the path. It is not accompanied with a scream however, that is why I would only consider it minor. It can scare you though, if you're focused and pay close attention and don't expect it to happen.
Edplosion I know what you're saying is true and all, it's just I usually feel like something's gonna jump out and scream at me at any given moment. Humanitys natural fear of the unknown and all. Furthermore, I only had the thought of a jumpscare/screamer when I saw the name _Zalgo_ in the title not to mention with my history with jumpscares, photo realistic images are usually a packaged deal, if y'catch m' drift.
The love of the Emperor is like the love of a grandfather. Holy and knows no boundry . Even in full darkness, you are the light For a part of him lies within you . Pay no attention to chaos and it's little schemes They matter not in the whole . In life you are his and in death you shall be imbibed by his divine light and become a shining beacon for lost souls . The Emperor protects.
You can interact with the drawer in Urotsuki's room and activate the effect quickselect menu. "Interacting with the drawer at Urotsuki's computer desk will display the menu to toggle the new quickselect menu added in version 0.99. Selecting yes on the first option enables you to use the drawer in the dream version of the room to set Urotsuki's current effect as a 'favorite' which can then be instantly equipped/unequipped from the menu, accessed via the Shift key. The second option lets you choose what kind of quickselect you would like. The first style lets you instantly switch to your favorite effect by holding down shift. The second style brings up an interface that lets you visually browse through effects with a scrollbar, or switch to your favorite effect by pressing down. This style is useful for mixing effects. NOTE: The game occasionally loses track of this favorite effect upon waking up or loading a saved game, so using the drawer to reset your favorite effect before heading out into the Nexus is generally a good idea." yume2kki.wikia.com/wiki/Urotsuki's_Room
i see the screen moving at times when you get in the zalgo room (i think) is the game window shaking or is just an in-game effect? i didn't play the game yet and i'm curious
No, este es más basado en la exploración de los sueños que en contar una historia. Además de que está desarrollado por un equipo grande y las zonas no tienen relación entre si .
