VOLUME WARNING! Here's my edited reaction (with subtitles for the Japanese dialogue) to the first Splatoon 3 concert featuring Deep Cut and the Squid Sisters from Tokyo Big Sight at the Nintendo Live event on October 9th 2022! I just noticed the “lyrics” between Deep Cut’s Calamari and the Squid Sister’s are different. Which sort of makes me theorize Splatsville being a different region and thus having a dialect of the known language. So shiver and Frye sang the Splatlands dialect and Calle and Marie sang the old lyrics we know and love from Inkopolis

I don't think Splatoon 3 even takes place in Japan. By using the Sunken Scrolls, makes it seem like it's more Western or European. Especially with the Eiffel Tower being there. Their gibberish doesn't sound like Japanese or even English gibberish. But more like a European language type gibberish because of the phonetics they use

My favorite part was definitely seeing how much fun the squid sisters were having,they’ve done calamari inkantation so many times it’s so fun for them to preform.I’m sure just seeing deep cut enjoy themselves all concert was enough for them

@@asterthehedgehog6861 Because Splatoon is REALLY popular in Japan and the franchise has so many songs from bands and idols that they can use for concerts, so is easy for Nintendo to do it. The thing with pokémon, wich in first place is not even a Nintendo property, is that there is not enough characters with many songs to hold a full concert. There are gym leader singers in the games but they don't have proper "vocal" songs to perform in the stage :/ They could do something with other franchises like Mario with Pauline singing "Jump Up Super-Star" or Zelda singing "Zelda's Lullaby" but then again those are not enough songs for a full concert. (Sorry if my english is bad)

I’m so happy that I got to see the concert live and there was much to take in that I don’t know where to begin. Deep Cut put on an amazing performance and they were being so cute and expressive when they were singing together! 💙💛🤍 The grand finale with the Squid Sisters and Deep Cut singing the Calamari Inkantation made me tear up happily and it was amazing getting to experience this moment. ^^

I saw the stream for the concert and it was absolutely incredible. Deep Cut was so expressive and Shiver’s kakagoe was so cute. And the Squid Sisters showing up at the end was so gosh dang amazing. Deep Cut and the Squid Sisters work so good together. Also, if I don’t mind asking, where did you get the sticks from? They look really cool

I cannot tell how much joy is too see the splatoon concerts live again, is been a long time, but damn was so good. Also I notice that they really improve a lot the movements of the 3D characters, it seems that they are using Real Time mocap for how it looks, because the movement feel so natural now, it was actually pretty impressive. Also Shiver Team FTW!

Your reactions had me smiling the whole time. What a great concert. Watching it live with others in Discord was fun. The updated models for Callie and Marie were really something, they were so much higher quality. Something I noted was that Callie and Marie's voices are very distinct even when all of them are singing at once. I don't know what the proper terminology is but they seem to have this extra oomph.

Frye was overall purely energetic, and we love that for her. Also agreed, put her and Pearl in a room together, they would pop off to no end. Even if just for that wave at the end, Big Man deserves all the love in the world. But can we talk about how Shiver just popped off for the most part, and how cute she was when she was doing kakegoe (or however the traditional japanese crowd hyping thing is called)? Like, no crumb left. And of course the Squid Sisters girlbossed perfectly, as they should.😌💅

Hello Ms.yume and it wad Crazy in September Splatoon 3 Game came out , and Now we got a concert Already , Nintendo was Ready for us like what the Carp. But I love the concert, first Big Man was Actually was singing more than he was in the game or he was singing Softly, and Shiver was letting out her high Vocals ( Marina and Shiver the high Octo Vocal duo), I literally was just 😍😍, Frye she might as well be a Rapper now. (Pearl and Frye Rapping Queens). But when I heard the calamari inkantation 3mix , when I say Let my soul be at ease ....HALLELUJAH 🤩🤩. But I really with they add more music like Goodbye...I would really cry just like in fly octo Fly/Ebb and Flow live. Oh well I can't wait for the new concert. I wish there were more squids... K.K.'s set was fine but it was so long there was no time for Til Depth Do Us Part or the new Squid Sisters single. I'm also a little bit sad they didn't use best cat Tangy though so go figure. (I wonder if it's just a practical matter of Splatoon's much more detailed animation taking a lot longer?)
