Ironically enough, many anime studios nowadays outsource most of their work to the Philippines and Korea (the Japanese only have to do the key frames and complex scenes). So The Nutshack IS an anime.

This is why I like Pan's videos. Anyone else would just meme it up and call it terrible without making any observations. Pan looks deeper than anyone else does and gives them the same treatment that he would give any other show and is able to share interesting info that no one else would bother to learn. No matter how bad a show is, he is willing to give it the full time of day because he respects that animation is a time consuming medium and can still an insane amount of effort.

Dude, the crew behind this thing seems really fucking chill. Give these guys a real budget and a competent studio.

Fun fact on the dragonball op: the singer was also a translator and for many animes for france and we basically got alot more animes than the americas. What's interesting is that they legitimately had fun doing all of this and they tried redubbing the ops for the french audience some were hit or miss i admit . The name for that anime groip is called "club dorothe"

You know, I really hope the creator behind this show gets another shot to potentially make something again. Seeing his show you'd get the impression this just terrible, but when you see his other art and how he talks about his inspirations really creates this picture of an artist who really could be making something great with what skill he has.

You know, after watching this video and seeing the love and effort that was put into this show, I've grown to have a higher appreciation of it now. Despite how terrible the quality was and how infamous the show is as a whole is, I see now that it was a labor of love for... for the... HA! Sorry, I can't do it. This show freaking sucks and I still hate it. The Philippines deserved better than this.

After watching this I kind of respect the creators of the show. They had vision and ambition, but lacked the technical skill or taste to make a funny adult animated show. Take the artist he's obviously talented but despite that the show still sucked. I respect something like the Nutshack a hell of a lot a more than the shiny slop coming out on Disney+. Better to aim high a fall flat on your face than making bland slop that doesn't really please anyone.
