Why is there no official ISU video of Yuzuru's performance at this event? Seeing results in the kiss and cry is part of the whole experience. The only full official video I can find has all the skater's performances except the ones for the skaters from Japan. Whomever edited them out of that video SHAME on you. Bad, bad sportsmanship. Thank God for fancams like this or we would never have gotten to see his performance.
@@tonya--7704 Hey thanks for the support, appreciate it. There is actually no video uploaded by an official broadcaster of Grand Prix (Match/Arena from RUS / Eurosport / CCTV / Asahi), and the one you found was probably a broadcast version uploaded by a fan. I don't know for sure what happened, but here's my guess: the Japanese skaters' performances were probably cut out because they were blocked due to copyright infringement sought by TV Asahi, the Japanese broadcaster of the GP series. I get that a lot myself with my subbed pieces too.
@@languageofskate4064 Hmm. I don't know how that works. And only with this competition. I guess its different for fancams. I have seen the official results kiss and cry on a compilation video of all the records Yuzuru has broken but I don't think I've ever found an official medals ceremony for that event either. That's weird. It was kind of a strange subdued competition all around from what I see. All the Russians looked mad. Thank you for your reply. Much appreciated. ❤️
@@tonya--7704 I watch a lot of videos of Dimash kudaibergen and he does performances in Russia all the time. The audience never given standing ovations or anything. They just sit and clap politely. They probably weren't angry, they were just being Russian
I sooo appreciate it when fans sacrifice such precious, once in a lifetime moments to capture them on camera and bring it to the rest of us. I get you also filmed to have footage for yourself :D But I wouldn't want to look through a camera lens if I was there, or to focus on proper shooting. Thank you
@durcheinander I usually only film practices and gala, as you'll find is the case if you look through my list of videos. This was a spur of a moment decision when I noticed almost the whole row in front of me empty, and a perfect nook under the railings to put the camcorder (so I wouldn't unwittingly block anyone's view). Since I had an idea of his trajectory from Helsinki and ACI, I was mostly able to just pan without focusing on the camera screen during the performance itself. So, no worries, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)
@@languageofskate4064 thank you so much for giving us these videos even though they are not perfect I'm just happy to see yuzuru figure skating and doing what he loves
Sometimes all the switching between close camera angles erases some of the fluidity of the routine. this is such a nice recording & you can really see all his movements in context :')
The only cure is watching more videos of Yuzuru 😂😂😂😂😂 Check his RU-vid channel with the new 2 programs relaised for the public "Goliath" and "Aqua journey "
Yaaas I saw her too and all the one's beside her, their reaction was cute. His step sequence is something else actually he is something else out of this world😍
Такое катание невозможно смотреть без слез восторга, что с нами делает волшебник Ханю, просто гений фигурного катания, какое потрясающее понимания музыки, расставлен каждый акцент, а руки просто божественны, про прыжки уже не говорю-шедевр, браво
This might be the best figure skating program of any discipline, male of female, ever, of all time. Yuzu delivers the technical elements without sacrificing any artistry. I am a big Team USA fan, love Jason and Nathan and Vincent, but some of Yuzu's program are entirely next level. Next galaxy. I wish I could see him in person.
my god he moves so fluidly and beautifully like water i cant take my eyes off him, didnt even feel ike 10 minutes. and its so cute to see him interact with kids haha
@@awkwardnerd. :l wish so, but it is against rules. flower boys and girls are there to do the task, only Russian boys and girls are allowed to hand letters , but never allowed in any other countries. he should not have accepted that, but he didn't want to harm them.
Wo Finden Sie denn immer die schlechten Sprecher? Deutsche Sprache muss artikuliert werden! Was sind das für Leierköpfe! Die Leier habe ich falsch geschrieben . Leier
Oh my god, this song wasn't an accident. Johnny Weir won the US 2005 nationals and went on to attend the 2006 olympics with Otonal, in a very similar blue flowy outfit (It was a beautiful FS); he was one of yuzuru's skating role models for a long time, there's no way this was a fluke. It's a lovely homage. *edit* it wasn't a fluke: johnny is aware and is very touched:)
It was a deliberate choice: this season Hanyu decided to skate two programs dedicated to skaters who inspired him (his SP to music used by Johnny Weir, and colors of costume similar; and his LP to music used by Yvgeni Plushenko, music edited, of course, but the homage to each skater and the basic music used done on purpose by Yuzuru Hanyu). Hanyu also said he wanted to "skate for himself" this season, try out new things; and this honor to two skaters who inspired him was the first choice he made. (He's trying out new jumps, but hurt his leg in Helsinki and did not skate in Grand Prix Final; but Orser just said (c. Dec. 12) that Hanyu does plan to skate during the rest of the season, if his leg recovery goes well, probably in Worlds.)
