I have done this many times even in the city we used to lose the cops. First of all we never told anyone at school what we were doing. We wanted to ride our bikes and where I lived in the city it was an hour away to do it legally. We would take our bikes our for a spin while the parents were at work. We had all kinds of routes to get away from the police we tore up some yards too. In those days 1980's my city didn't have a copper we used to tear around school yards too. We never got caught almost a few times. My garage had an electric opener so we would cut our motors as we got close and coast in there. The cops would run up and down the street a bunch of times learned that from the go kart days.
Why don't understand why dirt bikes are illegal. Just because they don't have a license plate on? WTF! It's just a piece of metal, why is that important? If I was a president of a country, I would legalize dirt bikes. They offer no risk for people, as long as the rider is riding it safely on the streets and using proper gear. And when off road, they can do hell on their bikes, they wouldn't be arrested.
I wish it was legal too bud, but the fact is that the majority don't have headlights, they can't get fined if caught speeding on a camera, no turn signals (well you can use hands), no brake lights, the tires aren't designed for roads, etc.. sad reality I guess
JayJay97 Well, I've seen a lot more people crashing cars that have street tires, headlights, turn signals, brake lights, than people riding dirt bikes without all of that shit.
A reason they're not legal is because of the license plates, as it happened in this video, no license plate means they don't know who you are and they can't track you down and fine you for offences. And the knobbies are not particularly safe on the road. And lack of brake lights is quite dangerous. No headlights and turnsignals shouldn't be the main issue.
Yo those who snitch or tattle tale: Keep doing it and someone will beat your ass for a living and like it will give them superpowers... if I don't get to you first...
quality! currently have broken leg from stupid car driver pulling out, not ridden for months and this was exactly the buzz I am missing, thanks could almost feel the adrenalin just watching :D YZ driver gets respect for taking it like a man!
hdidane00 did you seriously just say a two stroke has the upper hand on lower end power?... you obviously dont know the difference between a 2 and 4 stroke.
Kim jong un, you completely just ruined any reputation you had of knowing dirtbikes. 4 strokes have the power there the whole time, you twist the throttle the bike can pop up, 2 strokes you have to put in a sweet spot (certain amount of rev) to where if you tap the throttle the power band kicks in and the wheel pops up. But that doesnt make 4strokes better, mix gas and haul ass guys.
Very smart thinking to encourage the buddy to get up, that he still had time, and to go go go! His mind was probably freaking a bit from flipping end over end, and the encouragement got him going and saved him!
You should have kept recording every time I watch this video after they talk I want to know what happens next did he make it back to school by 2? Did they make it home? Or to the tracks? I love this video best atv and dirt bike vs cops video yet please make more videos
ToxicMetal555 We know that buddy, It's in the video description. What we want to know is HOW they got back to school, did they continue through the woods? get back on the road? I wish the guy on the Kx hadn't turned his camera off.
thats were you are wrong. if the police feel that the situation is getting very stressful for the dirtbiker. they can abort it. to not cause crashes. but some polices are dickheads.
my dads a cop, and this is by far the best thing ive seen on youtube in forever! one more thing, if u get chased again, flip them off (they hate that so much!)
It shouldn't be a shocker these kids got off easy. They're a bunch of spoiled brats from the Pine Richland area. I own 50 acres behind the church they cut through in this video and they ride on my property like they own it. Now that I know who these kids are, I'm going to sue their parents for the damage they did to my land and all the noise.
what a sad pathetic man you are! werent you a kid ever? what did they do to upset you? ah wait let me guess they rode through your land without permission.... yes lets execute them for that. they were having fun and didnt do anythihg to hurt anyone. lighten up and maybe talk to them before you judge them
How do you know their spoiled? I worked two summers in a row bailing hay when I was in high school to save up for my quad. My dad's horse ranch in southern Indiana was 260 acres and we didn't mind dirt bikes cutting across our front pasture to access the road. Hell I actually started riding with some of them after that and became good friends. At least their out riding and enjoying the outdoors instead of sitting around all day getting fat.
going into the woods is like making it to second base, half way there, you still have to get home with out getting caught and, once you get home you still have to answer for anyone who has any question about your whereabouts. YOU CANNOT get away with this kind of stunt without detailed planning and razor sharp execution.
I thought for sure the yz250 kid got caught after he crashed, thank god you guys got away! And the crash, you're so lucky it was a quick recovery, if the bike didn't start up you would be toast. Better than an action movie in my opinion
Good work. Glad the guy on the Yz managed to get away as well. If your buddy gets caught, you may as well consider yourself caught. They would of taken him down town and questioned him. My bud and I ran from the cops late at night. Lucky for us, the two cops had to do U-turns to come after us and by that time, I turned down one street and my bud turned down the other. It was a hopeless game for the cops.
everyone saying he left his boy? he literally stopped told him he had time as soon as he saw that his friend was okay and had his bike upright he dipped. He didnt ditch him
Haha this is still my favourite dirtbike chase! I remember when I was a kid I would chase the bus too. Cops never saw me, but people snitched on me and the cops pulled into my driveway. =/
That's awesome. Thanx for the vid. I like the police keeping our streets safe but I like dirt kids getting away even better. Espescially on the KX100. That's an awesome bike man!
it also depends on the state. in nj where i live you can no longer register a dirt bike unless it is a street legal dual sport from the factory even if you add the lights, mirrors and horn. and the biggest problem is having no liability insurance. it's a $1000 fine, they impound your bike and you lose your license for 6 months. running is the obvious choice with those kind of penalties.
No doubt. Nice riding fellas, fucking love 2strokes. Had a 91 kx125 in high school, definitely brings back memories. Been rocking a 75 rd250 2t twin the last 3 years. It's nice when the shits legal
I'M FEELING THIS RIGHT HERE!!!! YOU TWO ARE STAMPED WITH THE HARLEMBOYZ STICKER! YA'LL ARE CERTIFIED FOR SOME RAW NYC RIDING NOW! CHECK OUT WILDEST RIDE ON RU-vid... SALUTE FELLAZ!!!!!!
When he crashed, I acted like I was there...I couldn't stop saying "dude dude dude! GTFU, don't let these pigs take you down while you're on a 250!!" xD
Thank you! I agree completely with what you said. Im all for having laws and rules it helps run society, BUT some laws are just stupidly put into place and the consequences for breaking those laws is to harsh. Im glad someone else agrees with me, this guy is driving me insane lol
Not gunna lie, this made my fucking day! i use to do this shit all the time, but i stoped riding and got more into truck but this vid makes me want a bike again! Good job guys!
