I'm on my ZFold5 right now, and im so happy that I upgraded from an iPhone. The amount of customization is astonishing. Apps I use on my PC now work on my phone. Transferring files is so easy. I'm in love.

Nice Adam! I use my (Icy Blue) Z Fold5 since July 28, and I have the same case with S Pen and also the Samsung screenprotector, which is okay for me, I could install it easily and the quality is good enough in my opinion. The battery life is really good! I can use it for the full day, with the limitation set to charge until 85% which saves the battery for long use (I always try to remove bloatware as much as possible and disable services I don't use, background data use disable, battery usage limited for apps as much as possible, saves also battery!). I used the Z Fold3 some time ago, and this one is much better in every way! You also can install Good Lock for even more customisation, works nice! And I always take of cases from phones almost every week, to clean the phone and case, a good thing to do! (Set a recurring calendar appointment). Just got mine in the 512GB online exclusive Gray color. I had a Fold 4, traded it for a S23 Ultra, I love the Ultra, but I’m happy I switched back. ❤

I was watching a case review and the Fold 5 standing case with the strap fits the previous S-Pen. You can remove the S-Pen holder from the case and it clips into the slimmer stand/strap case. Just thought I’d mention it in case you want to keep the previous pen and your flash.

Is the front screen any bigger that the z fold 3? I got rid of my z fold 3 because the front screen was way to narrow for me, and i got a s22 ultra, and i am thinking of switching back if the front screen was bot as wide

How's the battery life on it so far Adam?

When will your comparison between the Z5 and Pixel fold come out? I just received my Z5 and on the fence about keeping it long-term. Feels heavy as a brick and not easy to use the front screen as you mentioned for typing. Your other videos about the Pixel fold Make it look more tempting for everyday use

I honestly agree that anyone who has the Z fold 4 then definitely NO change is needed. I would keep it and wait for a few more models.. but if anyone is coming from an older phone model then this phone should not feel like a rip off

Do you have an S-Pen Pro? That might be a good option. You would just have to carry it around. I would consider the other Samsung case that has the strap/stand. That way, when yiu use it at night you would be able to slouch down and still hold it with no issues.

Love the review my dude!! I use picsart all day for my thumbnails and I'm tempted to grab a fold just to make my life easier for productivity.

Having used both the pixel fold and the fold 5, I can for sure say I prefer the fold 5. The more optimized software, the overall crease is smaller, not where it divots but where it begins to slope on each side, leading to less distortion, and the lighter weight is a plus for me as well. I never have issues with the cover display, and I'm encouraged to open it (since that's what it is for). On the pixel fold, the heaviness for a 5.8" less than great experience compared to my iPhone is a big downer for me. Plus, I got $300 off for the 512gb version so that was a plus as well.

Can I trade in my fold 3 to Samsung for that discount if it's not fully paid off from att?

Am planing to get the zfold 4 case with the bigger pen for my fold 5. About the punch hole for the flash. I'll just drill a hole the the case for the flash. Problem solve brother.

I just got mine, and it's not that heavy (compared with my iPhone 13 pro), and I do love the narrowness of the front screen. I'm holding and typing on the front screen with one hand!

I just got the fold 4 and s23 ultra...2 trade ins note and note 9....I'm on the fence now about getting the fold 5....I'm not shitting cash but I can do it....I'm gonna get the same color as you....I don't wanna spend 100 on the case with the spen however but I will lol....I'm sure you know there's a better case for the s pen for the fold 4 where there's not a big hump on the back....I got that one and another one where the pen sits on the side...easy access and no sea saw when the phone is sitting flat and you are doing your thing with the pen....anyway thanks for the videos keep em coming

I have had an S22 Ultra for about 10 months now and im starting to really dislike it, its a great phone and i really love it but it has started develop a big problem, that being OLED burn in (mainly around the edge panel and especially the notification icons), Im unsure what to do, the S22 Ultra is my first flagship phone in years since like the s4 and s5 days, do I go for another 512gb S22 Ultra, a 256gb S23 Ultra or last years Z Fold4, any advice?

I mean the spen inside the s22 ultra is small too. Maybe a step towards internal storage of the spen

I strongly recommend the outer screen protector by AACL on that river-named store. THE ONE WITH THE BLACK SURROUND, not the "clear." They come in a pack of three, are cheap, and include an alignment tray.

Hot take, what if that small S pen exists to get us ready for the one that is going to be inside the Fold 6....? If it was that small but slid inside the fold like the Note days, would it be acceptable?

I have z Fold 4. Love it. You are right. Not much different between the z Fold 5 to justify spending that much money for it.

My z fold 5 arrives today, but I don’t know maybe I’ll get the s23 ultra and return the z fold, I don’t know if I’ll get use to that line in the middle of that beautiful screen. Currently I have a 13 pro max.

Is z fold 5 worth it if I trade in z fold 4? I can get the fold 5 for about 675 after trade in and discounts . Is that a good deal?

iam not sure they will risk a s-pen holder untill they can successfully get it to have some degree of dust proofing. i firmly believe that will be the main goal of the fold 6.

I'm still rocking my fold 3 from almost 2 years ago and i started getting that noise about 8-9 months in as well as down the center of the crease it turning white like scotch tape and nobody wanted to help, not tmobile Samsung at my local best buy or Samsung themselves then my back came off took it to a third party repair shop and found that my battery had started to swell and again nobody wanted to help that is until i told Samsung about the note 7 incident and that if my phone blew up or caused damage then they worked with me and got a free repair

What I like about having the Z Fold 5 is the camera 📷 shutter speed, where there isn't a 10-second delay; while S22 Ultra users were advised to download an app to configure the camera delay - a huge plus for Z Fold 5 users!

All those great trade in deals are US only, nothing close to those offers here in the UK. Was interested in the Z Fold 5 (coming from a Note 10+), esp with the no-gap close but I really don't like that new stylus...

Are those real scratches on the chromed parts of your fold 4? I also use the pen case on mine, and the first time I removed it I noticed a lot of marks like that, but mine were mostly compacted dust stuck to the surface. It shouldn't normally scratch as those parts do not move. Try to rub it hard with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, it might just take them out.

Don't know whether too get this or wait until the S24 comes out next February

If you buy the new Samsung Stand case, you can still use your original S Pen from the previous case. I've actually seen someone do it, and it works just fine.

Great content. Get the Whitestone dome film screen protector. It uses the UV light to cure the film. Works fantastic on my s23 ultra. As for cases. Supcase unicorn beetle pro for fold5 or I-Blason Armorbox or poetic spartan. Are great cases.

I ended up with a ton of scratches on all sides of my pixel 6 Pro from the poetic Guardian case. It seems it had just enough movement on the sides to scratch the sides up bad.

That slim small spen will be the size of what will go into future Z Folds...

Screen brightness is worth it as it was my only issue with it whenever I used it outside in the sun.

Adam! Heres what you do! Buy a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 Standing with Strap case, then you can use S Pen from Fold4 with Fold5 Case! The cut out part for the strap or Kickstand fits the Fold4s S Pen case Perfectly! Now you've got a good sized S Pen with your Fold5 Case! If you need a black pen with case I'll send you one, I Ended up with 5 or 6! 5:04

I'm planning to get a foldable phone but battery life is my priority. I'm between the fold 5 and the pixel all although I thing I'll get a better value with the fold 5 and a better offer from Samsung. What about the battery life with the fold 5? Or should I get a fold 4 instead?

I just dropped a review comparing the Fold 5 versus the Fold 3...And still I wouldn't even warrant an upgrade from 3 to 5. Its an amazing phone, just not anything crazy enough to warrant an upgrade if even your 3 is working well.

Just received my Z fold 5 and I don't understand why critics are saying not to upgrade if you have Z fold 4....trade in is amazing, it folds flat and it feels lighter.

I bought a UEEBAI wallet case from Amazon for £19 it fully protects my fold 5 and has a holder for my S pen fold edition. I bought a foldable phone, shock horror, the foldable screen has a crease. I changed from a S 21 ultra, this is my first foldable phone and I am blown away. I am sorry but I don't care if you don't like the S pen, I want to know it works. As a reviewer you admit you didn't pay attention when ordering the screen protector, you really expect to trust your review. A big fat zero out of ten for another pathetic copy of what other reviewers are saying.
