I have found that fishing it in place of the buzz bait is the ticket. The 1 negative I have found is that the large treble hook with the line tie in the middle, the line gets tangled up a lot. Great bait.
I’ve been lucky enough to get a hold of a few different colors, and I will be using them this weekend for a club derby 🎣 I love the way it feels reeling across the top, but you’re right about it sinking fast (5/8oz) but catching up to it even feels different than any top water bait I’ve ever used.👍👍👍👍🍀🎣🍀
Been throwing one for a little over a week now and my catch count-0 A big fat ZERO. There are 2 kinds of lures 1 catches fish, the second catches fisherman. I’m leaning towards the latter.
Same here but it could be my lake. The water cooled off fast the bass and shad pulled shallow for two days and then went back out so I’m unsure but I agree with you.
I wouldn’t write it off yet friend. I caught a little 2 lb’er my first outing with it. This is fishing, a lot more variables involved than the lure alone.
I LOVE this lure! When it came out, I threw it a lot and never caught anything. It was the end of Fall, and one night I wasn't paying attention to my casts and had a huge blowup from a big largie! I just knew this lure would kill it if presented with the right conditions. I've been getting 5 lbers lately now that fall has triggered in my region. Definitely use this when you would use a buzzbait, and slow down! A nice crawl is all you need, with some stop and gos periodically to make that crazy thrashing action. A couple light pops here and there with a good top water rod, and you're in business babyyyy
