It does give a power advantage, but perhaps also a change in the curve. Takes a good few hours, even a couple days for the ECU to adjust and compensate.

I agree, if you want the Maximum Benefit from a 75mm Throttle Body, the throat of the upper plenum must be enlarged. Otherwise you will get the same effect as 70mm at WOT. The exception would be Forced Induction.

Love your vids brother, quick question tho. Can I run a plenum spacer and the V+ Kinetix Plenum simultaneously without modifying anything? The black one that you did a heat comparison video for with that G35 a while back.
@AnthonyJ350
@AnthonyJ350 Год назад
I think you would run into clearance issues. I would chose one or the other. In theory it might pick up a lot of top end but might lose in the bottom and down low. I'm just speculating, I've never seen the combo done.
@larrycampbell6133
@larrycampbell6133 5 месяцев назад
I had that same exact question and haven’t found anyone that’s tried them together. The hood clearance was my primary concern. And if I had to choose one or the other, AND never planning on going turbo - I’d probably just get the spacer. But that’s just kinda going off of what I’ve seen other people do

Nice video. I wouldn't recommend larger TB unless your using forced induction. Never by a TB spacer is snake oil. The heads and lower intake manifold flow well. Just the front cylinders stare for air under WOT so porting or use a spacer helps.

Even if you're trying to compensate for the volume the butterfly valve takes up and trying to squeeze everything you can out of the engine from a bolt on perspective?
