Hey Simon. What an amazing difference. I have the same bike with the brightest LED HeadLights available (Hikari H7 12,000Lm) and still had to add 3" LED fog Light pods to the side of my forks to be able to see when riding at night (due to terrible reflector housing). Fortunately, though for under $150 for the waterproof LED Pods, mounting brackets, handlebar-switch & wiring kit, the results were pretty great! That said, you're setup is still probably a good 20% brighter than mine, not to mention quite a bit better looking. It's hard to believe that any vehicle with such sub-standard Lighting / visibility at night, would be considered safe enough to sell in the U.S. and every other country in the world, so I def had to do something. Could you direct the rest of us to where you got your kit from and / or how much it was etc. I'm sure anyone else with a Z900 would be very interested too. Thanks a lot and keep up the great work. We appreciate it
Facing the same problem with mine as well. Stock headlights were so really trash to the point where I had to open my visor to see anything at nights. I had them replaced with LEDs and the problem didn't get any better. Guess I'll be upgrading to this very setup very soon.
Live your videos fam. I have the other kt moto full lights. I went down and the lights stopped working. These hid are tricky I'm emailing the company back and forth but it seems to be taking forever to come up with a conclusion What I really want to do and have is gold forks like the se malaysia z900. And when that 2020 comes out I'll be looking to replace my headlight and or display.
Hi 👋, I have diy the same hid projectors on my z900, and put some led h1, it give poor brightness, I’m going to get some xenon with a 55w ballats. So may be you can advice some led h1?
How is it holding up for you after 3 years? I also had this installed on my Z800. But unfortunately the lights died after 4 years. Not sure if it's the bulb itself or the ballast/inverter or whatever that's faulty. They're definitely very bright and has really good throw, but replacing it is such a massive hassle and expensive.. In the end I just went back with the standard headlight.
