Well, Jon is the leader and the band member who was signed to the record contract. The rest of the band - including Sambora - were hired by Jon. He could’ve made it a solo act, but chose to form a group using just his last name. That said, I too prefer Sambora over Bon Jovi in some ways, but I believe Jon is the more talented songwriter.
Richie was the heart and soul of Bon Jovi, and he was the real singer. His voice is still beautiful. And he and Zac Brown Band make beautiful music together. ❤❤❤
dear Dominguez Household - yes he does ! There are a slew of those guys/bands I listened to [ even some from the 70's ha😂ha ] continue to sound astonishing. I shall admit there are some that should've hung it all up !!! ***And as a side note, let's be reminded how great a fiddle sounds in a rock-n-roll band***including the likes of Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Velvet Underground, Jefferson Airplane, Fairport Convention, Mahavishnu Orchestra & John Mayall's Bluesbreakers.....to name only a few. Let's keep rock-n-roll 🎸 🎤 🥁 🎻 alive forever ‼‼
Still love this song. Richie Sambora is still amazing!!! I'm so blessed I was born in 72, I got to grow up listening to the best music ever!!! Including 80's hair bands we ROCKED!!!
@@spspcards1If the kids had good HS in ‘80’s parents like my kids- they got exposed to it! 😂 And our 23 & 25 yr old both listen to stadium rock & hair metal.
The real reason is there isn't much that the ZBB can't cover and cover well. They are truly an ultimate cover band that hit it with mainstream success of their own.
Richie Sambora can sing. I love this song, and it's definitely one of my Bon Jovi hits. How awesome is it that Zac got to sing with Richie? A memory he will never forget. Awesome performance by two great musicians.
I never get tired of seeing / hearing this song played live, particularly when Mr S is at the wheel. Hopefully he never tires of playing it, either. Thx to all, for this fine performance!
Three half steps down from the original recording... props to Richie for being able to overcome that muscle memory after all those years playing it in a different key!
I've been to a shit load of concerts...God knows I can't count lol - - but I'll say this seeing Zac Brown is hands down one of the best shows ever!!! What a F----ing show!!!
Good old amazingly talented and super humble Richie Sambora. Without him, Bon Jovi would have had Runaway as their lone hit song and long forgotten by now.
I’m blown away you never heard of Zac Brown Band. Amazing group. And they are known for singing cover songs at their concerts! This song is amazing. Check them out singing Metallica’s Enter Sandman!
I've been a Richie Sambora fan ever since the release of his solo album "Stranger In This Town" back in 1991 which has always been one of my all time favorite albums.. It is so awesome to see him still performing so well after all of these years! If you haven't heard the album yet, please check it out.. It is awesome all the way from beginning to end!
I’m soooo sorry for your loss! My heart goes out to you. May your angel watch over you in heaven and give you peace in your heart. Nobody understands how much our fur babies mean to us and how important it is to be their everything. My condolences❤
Honestly ZBB the most all around talented band ever. Diversity and variety is unlimited. Thank you for bringing joy to my life ❤ music is my religion ✝️
Richie just gets better with age. As a guitarist, as a vocalist, and as one of the hottest men on the planet, he never disappoints. I'll go to my grave loving him.
Loving how country and rock and roll are coming together. We all grew up listening to the same great music and as Dolly Parton said there are only two types, of music ,good and bad and this is good 🎸👍😁
It’s criminal how underrated Richie Sambora has always been as musician and vocalist. Jon Bon Jovi was mediocre singer but an excellent performer who was propped up by his band as well as his stage presence.
Richie responds perfectly to each of his lines, he is just made for that. I hope for his soon return to the group. It would be good for Jon, for himself and for all of us.
Must admit flicking past this a few times without watching it. It’s good to see Richie playing to a lead singer to be honest. I miss that. Richie is at his best when his job is to play guitar.
The reason Bon Jovi was so GREAT is because of their songwriting and how well they complimented each other on stage. With each piece of the puzzle that leaves, it takes away from the WOW factor that made them GREAT to begin with. This has happened to many bands over the course of history.....which is why the bands that split reunite to create that magical energy we all love. CHEERS
I trust in any musician this incredible talent, Richie Sambora, brings into his circle. You’ve got to trust the way every ounce of his being is feeling rhythm in song. The best always 🙌♥️
