Zack Snyder's ARMY OF THE DEAD Movie Reaction (Netflix First Time Watching) 

Netflix is making 2 prequels, Army of Thieves and Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas as well as an animated series and a possible sequel

Tig Notaro who played the helicopter pilot was digitally placed in the movie to replace Chris D'Elia who was accused of sexual harassment. They had to reshoot her scenes and add her digitally into the film since filming was wrapped up and in post production when they removed Chris D'Elia

He didn't turn cause he was still alive & the radiation was keeping it at bay. And there will be many sequels coming & look forward to the animated prequel series & a prequel back story of Dieter, where he cracks the other 6 safes that the famous safe maker built. Also, if you notice, you can see two UFOs in the background right in the begining when the truck was crossing the area 51 border. Also there are some zombies with glowing blue eyes who may be robots. There is a lot more of this world that is a mystery & headed our way. So just sit back & enjoy this universe cause it's gonna be crazy.

The guy survived the nuclear blast but maybe the heavy radiation at Ground Zero caused the zombie infection process to be mutated somehow?

Chambers was a badass I love the RU-vid guy shot the gasoline tank so she wouldn't suffer this is a phenomenal movie very well done up there in my top 10 movies

He was turned at the end and evolved, he retained all his intelligence and memories but now he needs living food, that's why he got sick after drinking the champagne. In a way he's more like a vampire than a zombie now, still an unliving corpse that needs feed on humans and he can go out in the sun unlike the ones in I Am Legend.

So many visual oddities - robot zombies? Aliens? Time Loop? Maybe all of them at once? Very interesting movie, while also being on the surface a decent dumb zombie/heist flick.

This is my favorite Zombie movie of all time. I love it.

There's alot to be explored from this movie, there are theories already going arround that makes this world really interesting, including aliens we see at the beginning on the sky (you actually show it here but you missed it hehe look on the sky here 3:00). There's robot zombies like terminator but with blue glowing eyes which indicates somehow the government is involved here, and when they see those dead skeletons in the vault, if you see their clothing its actually them (The team) all together but dead. That indicates maybe there's some type of time loop going on or time travel maybe... its never a simple movie with Zack Snyder and I'm here for it!!!! 😎

The soldier in the beginning is the actor who plays Jimmy olsen in Batman v. Superman. And he dies at the start of both movies.

Omari's character lived because he's still alive. Bautista's character was dying, his time was already up.

When I first saw AOTD in theaters I was not impressed, but after watching it a 2nd time on Netflix I came to appreciate it a lot more. My favorite characters were Dieter (Mathias) and Vanderohe (Omari)

I don't like zombie movies but I loved Army of the dead. Zack Snyder is an awesome director, his movies are gorgeous and entertaining, and so thought-provoking. My favorite characters are Dieter and Vanderohe, their chemistry is off the charts. And Valentine the zombie tiger is so cute, the way she played with her food was so satisfying... Loved your reaction.

One of the things about Zach Snyder zombie movies is that the bites are where the victim is bitten. Every fast turning zombie is bitten within the threshold of blood flow. The ones that turned quickly were bitten on or near a major artery. Omari Hardwick was not. Neither was the douche police bait

The lady who plays the helicopter pilot was never in the movie. None of the cast ever met her. It was originally a guy who got charged for sexual assault during post production. So they cut him out and she was cgi added.

Great, funny reaction. of all the zombie movies I've seen this one is a better in the genre. (mostly) likable characters, and Batista gave a good performance. Dieter's sacrifice got me too. I remember thinking in the theater "noo cmon not him I liked him!" 😁

Something i noticed Was that most of the people Zeus bit were going to either die of the bite cause it was in a vital area or they had other injuries they would have died of , like a jaw being ripped off ( funnily enough , i don't remember that guy being bitten , i could be wrong . ) The quarantine area guard was bit on the arm as well and he didn't turn immediately either , they just carried him off to lock him in a room and wait it out . So you can assume that a bite that isn't immediately fatal or they don't die from other injuries , it takes a little time to change . Unpopular opinion , the robot zombies were planted by whatever aliens started this mess in the first place .

I think people who are bitten turn once they die. The ones that turned immediately after getting bitten are the ones who died quick
