The Suicide Squad (2021)
FIRST TIME WATCHING The Suicide Squad and I can see why James Gunn got the job to bring the further adventures of Harley Quinn and gang to the big screen. This entire cast was phenomenal and I really loved King Shark and Polka Dot Man. I hope we get to see more adventures from the surviving members in future movies. Bring back Will Smith for the third one I say!

James Gunn actually hinted at the theory that Weasel isn’t even a child murderer, just a dumb animal that was put in prison under false pretenses because no one (including Weasel himself) would ever say otherwise, all just to be used in the Suicide Squad as some kind of fodder.

It's a neat idea, but it seems like a lot of work for cannon fodder, especially when you've got a prison full of it. It makes sense that Weasel would be a child-killer, given the popular conception of weasels going down burrows and eating the young of their prey (they mostly kill and eat adult small rodents, but they're hardly going to turn their noses up at helpless sacks of protein, either).

I had really low expectations for this movie, but this was one of the best anti-hero movies ever made. James Gunn completely killed his DC-directorial debut!

As soon as I saw James Gunn was directing it. I had absolute faith. And when I watched the first five minutes. I knew. The rest. I was hooked for the ride and I was expecting to fight. But it was so tasty for visuals, and Secular progression and always from James gun, and amazing writing style.

Fun fact: Savant (the character from the very beginning who killed the bird) was actually put in prison by Black Canary (from Birds of Prey); DC comic artist Jim Lee confirmed this on social media, saying the yellow bird WAS specifically a canary, so him killing the bird is likely him taking out his anger towards the Birds of Prey for incarcerating him

I just noticed Harley saying "you're joshing" is because she doesn't say the other J-word. Wikipedia says Fernet is an Italian type of amaro, a bitter, aromatic spirit. Fernet is made from a number of herbs and spices which vary according to the brand...

For context, I saw someone else comment on a different reaction video that in almost all cities worldwide; rats outnumber humans 10:1. So yeah, this is surprisingly realistic the way there are that many rats to overwhelm Starro.

Comments tend to be Nonsense... Animal Planet named New York City the "Worst Rat City in the World" in 2014, compared to other US cities... Wikipedia isn't great but they say... New York study had scientists measure the Rat Population to be 24% of the number of humans, or 2 Million Rats at the time. A Jungle is a great environment for them though, if there aren't predators (Carnivores from Weasel size and higher, plus Birds , and Snakes)

@@lokithecat7225 I know you've cited a source so I'm not disagreeing with you, but I find that surprising because when we had wildfires in the uk a couple of years ago, as the fields were burning it honestly looked like a black sea as the rats were leaving. Like I would be shocked if there wasn't over a 100,000 rats just in that one field 🤷‍♀️ but obviously I don't have the data or anything, I'm just saying I'm surprised x

Hey Kazzy, in case you're wondering why Bloodsport's weaponry is so fancy and advanced like that; it's because it's Lex Luthor's technology. And that's the same reason why Bloodsport hit Superman with that Kryptonite bullet... U know the whole rivalry between Lex and Men of Steel. But that narrative was from the comics i dunno how they tied it off screen to the movie like that however it's dope the way they did it!

35:11 Originally Alan Moore was going to use Peacemaker (and a bunch of the old Charleston comics characters) in Watchmen but DC denied it. He ended up making his own characters for the story and Peacemaker's replacement was the Comedian.

Yes, TDK is Nathan Fillion =) Also, ironically The Comedian from Watchmen is based on Peacemaker, Alan Moore was originally gonna use the character and others that where from Charlton Comics and they were later bought by DC, but DC had other plans with those characters so Moore had to come up with new but similair characters.

I work at a movie theater. Tomorrow I'm going to watch this FREE! Mostly because of Harley and Ratcatcher II. I bet Sylvester Stallone is glad he only had to do the voice of the shark and not be inside that what must have been horribly hot suit. I also have to include Alice Braga. I loved her in "I am Legend". You should do that one. You won't be disappointed.

I haven't watched the whole video yet but did you know that the actor who played Polka dot Man adopted a stray cat he met while they were shooting? The costume people made the cat it's own Polka dot Outfit that matched his. Check out some of the pictures via google. :)

Considering that Bloodsport used that gun to shoot Superman, it is a safe bet that it was either designed by Lex Luthor himself, or by his company; I think that might explain why it was able to hurt Starro. As a comic fan, I loved this movie, it felt like a Suicide Squad comic, the team of misfits, the betrayals, and the hidden agendas.

...did you know when you put that clip of The Comedian in as a comparison to Peacemaker, that Comedian was originally Peacemaker in the first draft of Watchmen, until DC told Alan Moore not to use those characters..? The Comedian is basically Alan Moore's version of The Peacemaker

The Suicide Squad is amaaaaazing!!!!besides the gore and hillarious scenes, this movie have a lot of Argentina 🇦🇷 references like Fernet, Mafalda, Av. Medrano, Che boludo, Juan Diegp Botto ( the dictator) is from Argentina but he live in Spain.The first one "Suicide Squad" have one big problem .. is a copy of the first Avengers film a group of ppl who don't play well together (avengers / suicide squad) ... united to save the world and fight against a magical being from another world (Loki / Enchantress) who want to bring an army from far far away with a device (teserac / that portal or machine she use) to destroy and conquer Earth sooooo .... our team will fight and win! Different faces but same story, same ending ... but we love avengers 10000 times more. Anyway have a great weekend Kazzy🌹 and keep shining, you look extra gorgeous in that cosplay 😁✌🏻

Oh and "Fernet" is a drink from Italy very popular in Argentina, you should drink it with coca cola always because is too strong alone (if you have the oportunity of drink it, i recomend you put 30% of fernet and 70% of coca cola in a glass).. Is weird because they filmed this in paraguay but some of the spanish extras talk with a lot of argentinian tones and words
