In this documentary, we seek to explore Sayyida Zainab’s (as) upbringing, family, the trials & tribulations of Karbala & the controversy regarding her burial place.
Special thanks to Sayed Ali al-Talqani & Father Christopher Clohessy for their fascinating insight into the life of the beloved daughter of Imam Ali (as) and Fatima al-Zahra (as)

Poignant and pithy! This documentary is a superb effort to encapsulate Bibi Zainab's (a.s) life in 1 hour. Any woman in any capacity feeling oppressed, or abused, will see her sorrows as being small if she just glimpses at the life of this exceptional granddaughter of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h). Jazakallahum khairan to Ustadh Ammar n all who made this wonderful documentary. My personal belief is that since Karbala has the graves of Imam Hussein and Shohada, and Hazrat Abbas’ grave is also in Karbala to accompany and honor Aba Abdillah, so in Cairo where Ra’sul Hussein Mubarak is rested, so Seyyeda Zainab is there to accompany Aba Abdillah there in Cairo. Allah knows best and may the future bring knowledge and belief in the holy Ahlulbayt to more people who are ignorant of them

the same calamities that brought down sham and Iraq have hovered above Egypt but didnt affect it... and we Egyptians believe its because of the Dua of mawlaty Sayeda Zaynab for the people of Egypt when we took her in and showed her love and respect unlike the other 2 regions...

This is validation for all those who seek it like none other! Something this capable of broadening one’s perspective on Islamic history can not go unheard. Quran and Ahlulbayt compared to Quran and sunnah, if you believe in one over the other to be right then you must contemplate truly the impact Lady Zainab (a.s) should have on us all!
