Does zakat advocate sharing economy? What is the purpose of zakat? What impact does it make on society as a whole? Sir kindly make some video to clarify above questions or share link if you already made one.
It raises many questions. Does it mean that there is a cap on the expenditures of the government as They can only spend what they get in the form of Zakat? Will the Zakat be used in all the matters governed by a government like building roads, hospitals, utilities, news industrial initiatives which the private sector can't afford, etc. Will the government guarantee to support all the poors in the country?
@@Syed.S.A I live in Mississauga. As far as I've heard in the video, Mr. Ghamidi says that if your tax exceeds your zakat amount, then your zakat is fulfilled. I'm around 24 years old and this is my 2nd time paying zakat. Mr. Ghamidi's reasoning makes sense to me, unlike other scholars. Insha'Allah I'll grab the t4's and calculate the zakat.
Khums means "one-fifth or 20%". In Islamic legal terminology, it means one-fifth of certain items that a person acquires as wealth must be paid to the state of Islam
A common man gets confused. We should speak clearly. As Ghamidi said "Ushar" means 10% . Ashra mean ten n Khamsa means Five. I teach here in Saudi Arabia so we use these words daily here with our Saudi students.
