Let me explain what happened: When Zamasu took a heavy damage from Goku’s Full-Force Kamehameha and it staggers him cause Zamasu is an immortal deity but Goku Black was not but just an imposter clone can neutralize his body effect like Goku’s can affect his body can be corrupted his regenerative and he can get hurt. Zamasu’s face has badly effect from getting hit by Goku’s Kamehameha and he has a bad effect of making himself to lose his sanity. But worse than that Goku hasn’t realized that if he use his Kamehameha with full power, Master Roshi told him that when he was a kid there’s a downside to that technique that his arms will be limping badly and can’t move a single muscle with his arms if he use it too much just remember that Goku is only saving his last a sort of his power like Kaioken that only use his last strength to push himself to the limit to be burden or exhausted.

I'm thinking that Gowasu probably didn't teach anything to Zamasu in the ways of Martial arts, since he was already the North Kai (Just like King Kai is in universe 7). Meaning, his skills he developed on his own. Hence why there wasn't much he could do to help combat-wise. Supreme Kai's aren't necessarily all powerful, they are more like peaceful gardeners who tend to the universe, so fighting isn't always in their nature. Zamasu I guess was an exception, as he seemed solely focused on his own fighting skills, and never really taught mortals like King Kai does. This is mostly just head canon though.

How do you remember Vegito but not his Spirit Sword Attack he used on Buuhan lol ? Also when the purple side of fused Zamasu came out, it basically meant Goku Black's side died when Goku hit them with that full Kamehameha but the Fused Zamasu still kept Goku Blacks powers because Zamasu's half was alive still .

Not sure if you're questions been answered yet but Supreme Kai's name is Shin And Goku and Vegeta fusing with the other kais would be a waste they are far too weak. Shin is stated to only being as strong as SSJ Goku from the Cell saga back in DBZ.

Zamasu thought he had the perfect body because he had the invincibility/immortality of Future Zamasu & the limitless power growth of Goku Black but be a onmy one of him was immortal whike the other was mortal, Zamasu's fusion became imperfect & unstable.

Fusion Zamasu's potara fusion double standard against Vegito: an act committed by a god is virtuous but the same act committed by a mortal is evil & becomes a sin.

Vegeta doesn't hate Goku, he just didn't want to merge because of a few reasons, the first is because of rivalry, secondly because Saiyans don't like to fight in groups and thirdly because of Saiyan pride and fourthly because even he would do it. the fusion and defeat the part of the fusion that came from black, they didn't know any technique to defeat an immortal person unlike Vegeta's first appearance in the Boo saga, because in the Boo saga at the moment Vegeta agrees to merge with Goku , Vegeta showed that he trusted Goku a lot, as the one who created the plan to enter Majin Buu was Goku
