Of course they do that in purpose because soon they'll add raid exclusive move on them so that players will spend raid passes on them again. Then release the shiny forms to force players to spend again.

After releasing Crowned forms Zacian will obliterate even Shadow Metagross. Signature moves are steel types and also I have a feeling that Niantic may introduce new moves like Intrepid Sword (Zacians passive - in main series games it raises attack by one stage) as an attacking move - same case was with Gardevoirs Synchronoise. TL;DR the potential is there, but only for crowned forms and Niantic will milk it like hell. For now it's just a legendary to be sent to HOME and then to SwSh.

3:58 I think when Niantic put out elite TMs they should have restructured the normal TMs to be like where you can choose which move you want but you can’t get legacy moves from normal TMs

I try to get excited for these new releases, however, the move-pool (as it is now) just kills the hype... and justifies these being a dex entry or candy farm - nothing more. We already have non/pseudo legendaries out-classing these two, which just doesn't make sense. Yeah, the Crowned Shield/Sword versions will yield some viability with Steel STAB, but these Hero versions? Only Close Combat? No Charm/Counter (or worse) fast moves? No top 30 entries? C'mon now.... Why would we use these "lamegendaries" again except to off-set the PvP meta? 😑 Opinions aside, thanks Famous for the feedback and research on these two. It greatly helps us all make better decisions on what to raid, regardless of F2P or not. Keep up the good work and appreciate the information!

I still think Zacian: Ice fang/ Play Rough. It’s good for Dragon type raids. Zamazenta: Fire Fang/Close Combat. Is good for steel type and Ice type raids. Just need a switch of Fangs. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I mean I can see that raiding Zacian is great since you can send it to Pokemon HOME and then to main series games. That's the only use I can think of (not a PvP player).

If you check the latest Pokebattler the TTW against Zacian has increased using any counter... Earlier it showed it can be duoed even with normal Metagross but not now

I would recommend at least doing your free passes every day to get as many as you can so that when the full form comes out you will already have a bunch of candy that you didn't pay for

10:00 It's definitely Niantic's fault Fairy Types don't do so well in Pokemon GO :) They can pretty much do whatever they want with the vast amount of attacks they can chose from from the main series games. Charme for example is a move that actually doesn't do any damage but reduces the opponent's attack stat. In Pokemon GO it does damage though so... I'm not sure what's holding Niantic back in introducing more moves. Anyways, interesting deep dive. Unfortunate situation with the moves, but I hope we'll see an update soon. For now I guess I'll just get some candy and wait for the crowned forms which hopefully have better move-sets. I doubt we'll see them anytime soon though.

Ok so to help everyone in the Pokémon Go community understand why Zaican and Xerneas don’t have access to Charm; it’s because in the main games, the fairy legendaries don’t get access to charm (at least that is what I’ve heard), also if you look up Zacians moves in bulbapedia, it doesn’t learn charm so it was already not looking good.

Zacian actually is a top fairy type raid attacker. It’s only not in the top 30 due to unreleased megas. It’s only outclassed by shadow gardevoir

4:51 Now Zacian is a different story because it actually gets Moonblast in the main series as well (idk why Niantic didn’t give Zacian Moonblast as well) but yeah Moonblast and Play Rough are the only two fairy type moves but they are really good moves in the main series. And I actually like using Zacian more than Zamazenta because of its better movepool (that and because Zacian has a Sword in the other form and I love Swords) But yeah for my main series use of Zacian, the moveset I have on mine is Behemoth Blade (or Iron Head when it’s not in use because of how the form and Signature move works), Moonblast, Sacred Sword, and Crunch

4:21 When I got Zamazenta in the main series games I wanted to use it (cause I love using the box art legendaries) but like it’s only good stab fighting type move in the main series was Close Combat which isn’t a bad move in the main series however it’s draw back is that it only has 5 PP (Power Points which is basically how many times you can use it before you need to heal) and I would want a second fighting type move to give me some more fighting type usage but unfortunately it does not get any other good fighting moves

Zacian gets psycho cut in the main series (Fighters) and ice fang (Dragons). I don't know what they could've done about Dark-type raid bosses. Maybe add quick guard to the game and make it a fast move.

Fun fact: so I checked the DPS/TDO charts on gamepress.. and interestingly enough Zacian’s DPS^3 * TDO is actually higher than Shadow Gardevoir’s whenever snarl isn’t resisted.. (I checked with Palkia and Zekrom raids). Too bad dragons are better than fairy types for DPS…

From the way I see it, Zacian’s performance seems to be relatively similar to Dialga as far as countering dragons go.. overall dialga hits slightly harder while Zacian is better as an anchor

Checked pvpoke before this and Zacian is ranked 17 with a different moveset. They will be fun to use for pvp but just using daily passes for them.

Considering datamining is a known thing people will do, hasn't Niantic in the past loaded new pokemon with a crappy move set just to change it last minute to something good? I recall talk of Niantic changing movesets at the last minute so dataminers couldn't know what they were.

I would like to say thank you covering these pokemon again as I was pumped after watching your first video for these new pokemon but now they become dex entries only based on the move set and once again seeing pokemon nerfed. Sadly common themes now. Takes the wind out of the sails with these last few events being suck duds. Either pay to win/ pay to get aspect that the game has really headed towards.

I don't think you (talking to everyone who reads this) should raid for these legends (unless the shiny comes out and you really want it) since there are the weaker forms of these pokemon, and we will probably get the stronger versions sometimes in the near future and it would be annoying to get a good iv of a weaker form, just like the genie trio

It's terrible. On every legendary release we need to just get some for the candies and hold them back for whenever Niantic wants to use them again, MAYBE with finally a good moveset to cash in all the people that will spend money again for this reason. And this sometimes can take many reappearances... Kyurem, Xerneas, the three Genies, the Swords of Justice, even Heatran doesn't have a good moveset... It's just the worst

Sorry if I'm not understanding this but could someone explain why Zacian has rankings of 86, 45, 200 and 55 but its overall ranking is 39? How does that work?

The first three are per stat. I take an average of the 3 and then rank based on that average. Meaning the lowest avg. Is the best overall rank (1st)

It just shows how underwhelming and lacking great fast the Fighting and Fairy types desperately need. Revenge and Reversal would make great Fast moves. Fairy is the real problem since its still fairly new 2 generations in, Gamefreak needs to add more physical and special moves for Fairies.

Why does getting good ranking for raids still has any relevance now? Winning a raid is either impossible(if you don't have enough people for 5*) or win-for-sure. I think very few players are raiding low-tier raids now, and even if they do, there're a ton of alternatives that's sufficient for winning. Faster win time only gets you very few extra balls, and probably you don't need that extra balls to catch the pokemom. Moveset sucks i agree. but snarl and close combat could be interesting.

Winning raids is easy, you just need to prepare for them. Palkia for example can be done with 2 or 3 players. My friend and I have done several different raids alone. They include Palkia, Rayquaza Giratina and Heatran. Another friend of mine and I have beaten them and a few others as well.

I just don’t understand Niantic’s business model here. They want us to spend money on raids but dont give any incentive with at least a decent move-set. Niantic:Galar Legends are here! Niantic based their movesets on the main series games. The only Fairy type moves it can learn there, are Play Rough and Moonblast. Pretty difficult to make anything of that

Arceus is a bit more difficult. See, Arceus base form is normal, but with those life plates Arceus can become any of the 18 types. How do you put that into a game. One pokemon, but with 18 different types.

Niantic has deffo killed my hype after giving them such crap pve moves. The fangs are pretty interesting as QM atleast

Zacian and zamazenta are banned from PvP 😑 and I'm totally angry and frustrated on niantic for destroying legendaries just for their greed for money 💸 & I'm being honest if they continue doing this I definitely I'm quitting pogo

@@FLWVideosYT yup pokeminers gave out the info it was as follows @subscriber @miner Zacian and Zamazenta just got banned from the Premier Cups in Ultra League and Master League. Pidgeot was also banned from the Master League Premier Cup.

@@sigisoltau6073 I have no idea what niantic is thinking they are so high on drugs that they replaced palkia from gbl rewards to regieleki and regidrago( then after 1 hour changed it with zacian) and destroyed it's movesets by giving hyper beam nd stuff they are literally destroying legendaries these money hungry sharks most probably if this continues I'm quitting pogo

@@iZunesha I'm just trying to make sense of your comment. Palkia hasn't been replaced in the pvp rewards. It's still there. I checked. Zacian and Zamazenta are only coming out in 3 hours and 46 minutes in my area. Niantic has made some stupid decisions but I think you're the one who's a bit confused.

What value are we getting for our dollar here? Remember the old adage about ducks... If it acts like a grifter and takes your money like a grifter then it probably IS a grifter...Instead of just handing over money without a thought, I am starting to question what I am getting for my money...A Legendary Pokemon without a viable moveset is trash. Why should I paid good money for something I am just going to transfer?
