In Coronet Highlands there is a group of Magikarp at the bottom of the waterfall in the Fabled Spring area and two Gyarados at the top. The two Gyarados were the only two Magikarp strong enough to make it up the waterfall from the spring below and evolve.
Also, when you encounter a non-alpha blissey when you have lost health, it will not run or attack and will follow you around to make sure you are ok ^_^
pokemon is so cute wtf all the little details in this game make me so happy especially seal always rolling up in a cute little ball ready to play with you.
Not alpha shiny blissey is not my favorite Pokémon (if it is not caught) for exactly that reason when I am near one I take damage on purpose for me is kinda of a nice detail and I always like to play around with it
Fun fact: Ingo was never actually 'just some guy', after Pokemon black and white released in Japan, Ingo took second place in the official human character popularity poll, with 1st place taken by N (of course) and third place taken by Ingo's twin brother, Emmet. So... I bet a lot of people in Japan were glad to see the frowning subway man again! I wonder if Emmet will end up in the legends arceus sequel or dlc?
I personally was super excited to see Ingo again, as the first Pokemon game I ever finished was Pokemon Black, and I loved doing the Subway battles. I legit had to stand up from the sheer amount of excitement seeing him again lol. XD
I just happened to watch the episode where Ash and his friends battle him a few years a ago, and when I saw him I was so confused with myself for thinking that a gym leader from black and white would be in the new game.
I was honestly very happy to see Ingo! While I didn’t do much of the battle subway the bros have like this special little place in my heart, plus pokemon black and white 2 were my first mainstream games so I do have some bias
With the 1.1.0 update, one of the things that happens after investing the massive mass outbreaks, Cyllene says "I will pass down the name of our team, and tales of its accomplishments, to all my descendants." Which shows that Cyllene being Cryus's ancestor, she literally passed on the name, and the information on how to get the red chain down through the stories that she's shared from her experience as the survey corps leader. Which at some point Cryus took that information and changed the plans of the galaxy team to what we know in BDSP.
I was wondering if it's like the real world where people take older symbols or beliefs and twist them to their own means, like how some people use Norse mythology as a justification (???) for white supremacy. So Cyrus uses the Galaxy Team symbol and name that he knows from his family history, but twists it, sort of like how Nazis appropriated the swastika as an example.
@@ketchup016 That is a common plot thread in the game actually, because the people living in Hisui are immigrants, the ruins there were from a lost civilization of the Celestrica People. One of the NPCs says something about how their symbols were used by the new inhabitants but the meanings were lost.
the reason why the chimney is also a reference to galarian wheezing is because Commander Kammado is from Galar. He even mentions it when you battle him through Ingo's battle options, mentioning he is wearing traditional Galarian armor.
@@UFOPiXEL7983 basically a lot of people in jubilife seem to be people outside of hisui, coming from galar and alola in mentions, and possibly from other regions, though only galar and alola were mentioned throughout my playthroughs so they maybe have mentioned other regions. I know for sure they at least mention cubchoo, who is in the unova region.
@@Nanashi20 one of the farmers also mentions kanto and people fighting alongside pokemon i believe. And I'm fairly certain there's also at least one npc that mentions hoenn
When first entering your "home" in Arceus your shoes disappear once you're over the threshold. It's really small and maybe goofy but just that small detail made me fall in love with the game.
Yeah I noticed that and it further emphasized that the Hisui region is based in Japan since its customary to remove your shoes at the door when you enter a house
So fun side fact about Kamodo, you learn post game that his armor, and I guess by relation, Wikstroms armor, are actually Galarian armor. Another nice connection with Komado and the mystery of his regional origins, especially when there are small mentions by villagers through the game that Kamodo and Beni's village were destroyed by raging Pokemon, where people died in result. This game is packed full of lore and I'm here for it.
@@julianeliassimonsen8730 that's an interesting theory. Though it seemed like during the times of darkest days people weren't scared of Pokemon still though, I get the feeling the events of Arceus happens before the events of darkest day
@@datboiaj8506 yeah that seems like a more likely chance. Though I don't know if Kalos ever had pokemon rampage other than a war being fought, that we still don't know where from, but it's very interesting
There's some dialogue right after you get the Shiny Charm where Kamado (Rowan) says he might start looking into doing research instead and Cyllene (Cyrus) can take over the Galaxy Expedition Team. I thought that was a really sweet nod to Cyrus becoming the leader of Team Galactic and Rowan a pokémon professor.
Not to mention the short scene when you get the highest survey rank where Kamado says the galaxy team was meant to be dissolved once the region could handle itself, and cyllene says something like "I'll always pass down the name of the galaxy team!"
The fact that the Pokémon translators are aware of memes is largely known thanks to Nob Ogasawara (who was lead translator for all the games up until 2008). He's hugely into Internet humour. If you ever see the name 'Douglas Dinsdale' online, that's usually him. The reason why there's usually a trainer named Nob in the games he worked on is apparently down to Nintendo of America staff, who appreciated his extensive work.
I like it a lot too. The gameplay loop is fun. My only gripe is with pokemon and nintendo money it should've been a lot more. I feel that the IP should go to different devs with a bit more talent. Especially if they're going to charge $60. Imo its not up to par with a $60 game. Like imagine this same gameplay but with better environments and better AI for the Pokemon to actually interact with kind of like SNAP. I don't regret the purchase at all. It just couldve been better is all im saying
@@ThatGuyRashad agreed. This is considered a mainline series, so the only way to go from here is up if Nintendo wants sales. Shit, I wouldn’t be surprised if a later patch adds some online battle feature to the arena in Jubilife
@Fetus X it has nothing to do with how much money the franchise is making or gamefreak doing a bad job. If you actually look into it, it all boils down to them trying to make a big open game like this in 2 years because Nintendo needs them to release the games frequently so they can keep selling new merchandise.
Also, your outfit will be affected by weather, it will appear to be wet when it is rainy and you will also be covered in snow when you are in the snowy environment. I tried to go near the campfire to see if it will dry my clothes or melt some snow, but sadly it doesn't. There are so many small details in the game that make it attractive.
The Heartwood plays the Eterna Forest theme from Diamond and Pearl, Volo has Cynthia’s champion team with the exception of Volo having an Arcanine instead of a Milotic, which isn’t in PLA. In addition, him having Giratina is a callback to Cynthia entering the distortion world in Pokémon Platinum. There are also tons of characters that are intentionally obvious ancestors of others. Some include Cyllene and Cyrus, Volkner and Ginter, Arezu and Mars, Clay and Lian, Colza and Gardenia, Coin and Saturn, Bertha Agatha and Charm, Candice and Clover, Wulfric and Gaeric, Mai and Marley, Peselle and Mira, Rye and Riley, Sabi and Cheryl, Beni and Wally, Sanqua and Karen, and the Clothier and Darach. The fascinating thing about these ancestors is that a ton of their descendants end up living outside of Sinnoh. In addition, both Kamado and Laventon are from Galar, and there are also pictures in the Pearl settlement that depict Alder and Archie, the boss of team Aqua, implying Archie is from the Pearl clan and Maxie the Diamond clan. It’s a cool callback that implies their families have been on opposite sides for a long time. The Pokeshi dolls are designed after the Pokedolls from other Pokémon games, and the music in the Arceus fight is a remix of the music that was meant to play in the unused azure flute event in the original gen 4 sinnoh games. There are tons of Easter eggs in the Pokédex too. My favorite is Raichu’s, which is identical to it’s entry from the Gen 1 dex, except Laventon changed “Indian elephant” to Copperajah. So much love went into these games, and finding these Easter eggs was almost as fun as playing the main game.
You forgot the names of the diamond and pearl leaders Adaman = adamant orb Irida = iridescent orb Adamant orb is for dialga and iridescent orb is for palkia
From all the gen 5 stuff in the game I get the feeling they have a Pokemon Legends Kyurem (or something of the like) in the pipeline. Would be exciting to see reshiram and zekrom's true combined form.
@@milansieval4980 nah pokemon legends kyurem, because technically the fully fused dragon of reshiram, zekrom and kyurem would be a mythical since it's never been seen or caught before. So the name still works.
I kind of doubt that for most regions. The only ones I could see are Kalos, maybe unova, and alola. I would love to see some sort of legends necrozma though.
sinnon right next to johto is my region lore wise. Also theyre linked so heavily in the lore with all the additions in hgss and in the traditional Japanese art style. If they made a legends johto id lose my god damn mind. It would also be a great way for game freak to return to kanto once again because you absolutely know they could not help themselves.
The fact that almost everything lines up one the map is my favorite easter egg! The whole time I played Legends Arceus while spoiler free, the first things I noticed were the names and locations of a lot of land marks. So I think the devs did amazing with this game connecting it to the old games even though it's a prequal.
Volo's team when you fight him also bears a strong resemblance to Cynthia's, with the Spiritomb lead, Roserade in there and Garchomp in the back to mess your day up. The music that plays during the battle is also very suggestive of the theme that plays when you walk up to the Sinnoh champion before the fight.
He mentions Emmet too. In Wayward Cave, he says this: “I'm starting to recall a man who looked... like me. We'd battle and discuss Pokémon, I think... The words "I like winning more than anything else" flashed through my mind just now..."
An Easter egg I loved, when you first met Gogita she has an ancient tea pot and tea cup on the table clearly a reference to Sinistea and Polteageist from SW/SH
I’m glad I saw someone said this haha I remember I first got there and thought “huh imagine that’s supposed to be my boi poltergeist, that’d be dope” but thought I was reaching
1:57 It's actually pretty easy to figure out how to evolve Qwilfish without looking it up. The game basically tells you what to do in the pokedex. Same with any other pokemon that requires using X move in Y style to evolve
dont bother too hard he got alot wrong; such as he thought the trainer immediately tried to use the origin ball just because his pokemon was in a heavy ball lol
Team Miss Fortune is my favorite. The hairstyles are "evergreen" in the game in many ways. Works with other characters too; you get to see who had a "baddie" ancestor and what modern baddie had a kind hearted ancestor. Finding out who are distant relatives, like gym leader candice and saturn. They are basically saying, that family doesn't define you, but you get to make the decisions in who or what you want to become, which is a good message for all countries stuck in caste system societies. And also to every human being when growing up.
Kamado tells you in a battle when summoned by Ingo that the armor is Galarian. So the reference to the Elite 4 member is solely that they are both Galarians.
After you beat the game go and talk with Sanqua in the Galaxy building and she’ll ask how you saw the distortion and she’ll make a picture of it. You never see the picture she makes but she saids it depicts what happened at Spear Pillar. The picture, I think, is the same one you see in the Church in Hearthhome city.
If I remember the game's story correctly, it never actually says you're from the future, and that this world is the past. It refers to your home world as "another universe". It could just be a parallel universe that appears to be in the past. Alternate universes do not need to be synced in time, just as they are not synced in space.
To be fair you can say Pokémon trainers existed in your world. Plus the outfits your character wears at the beginning exist in X and Y (Male) and Sun and moon (Female).
@@oraclescrolls Future time periods are often referred to by people in the past as separate worlds, since from their perspective the future hasn't been written yet. Also this is WAY more than 100 years in the past.
hard agree here. it would be weird for a game that constantly pits you between the forces of time and space to lean so hard on the idea that you are in a different time, and not a different space as well. in addition, link cables being an acquired item to bypass trade evolutions, when similar named things have showed up in games past, alongside concepts like multiversal travel (ORAS) seems rather intentional. And ultimately this is the third major cataclysm we have been introduced to in the pokemon games, and one of the previous two is a point of multiversal split, and the other is too new yet for us to get any kind of lasting knowledge of. (the mega event of x&y and Dynamax event from swsh.)
@@SBaby no, it’s not. LOL. It is 100 years MAX. I’d say 80-100 years. Pokemon did a really piss poor job on that. There’s too many contradictions. The professor has a handheld camera for fucks sakes. It’s not more than a hundred years.

i havent finished arceus, but my assumption from the start is that galactic was just a splinter group of extremists that got a foothold in BDSP, where galaxy either dissolved or got absorbed into silph or something to manufacture the items and stuff we've been working on in the past.
If you played the original gold silver and crystal Cyndaquil's shiny was he had purple fire. I'm wondering if his hisuian Typhlosion is supposed to be a reference to that
If you remember a grunts subtext in diamond and pearl they bring up that Cirus is rich which might be because his ancestors established themselves in the galaxy team which could have developed into a family company as time went on. From there Cirus may have just used the money and backing from that to create team Galatic.
I can’t be the only one who sees the possible link between the Pachirisu Quest and the 2014 Pokemon World Champion Sejun Park who won with a Pachirisu being the most influential and important member on his team! As soon as I saw the quest I smiled remembering the battle and how one little Pokemon overturned a whole team of overpowered dragon types.
yeah except i was legit confused cuz there's no held items in this game! i was like ok how am i supposed to pull off the real pachirisu strategy w/o held items HMMMMM
There are alot of characters that are supposed to be ancestors of there modern counterparts in this game. Like Akari is CLEARLY Dawn's ancestor. Backed up further that they have almost the same name in Japanese as Dawn's Japanese name is Hikari.
A lot of characters have ancestors that are heavily implied through the usual trope of "character that looks almost identical to their family" thing, and a lot of them have nothing to do with where the characters in D/P or BD/SP end up. Like the Bandit group "Miss Fortunes" have Charm, who's an ancestor to Bertha the Ground type E4 member, Clover who's Candice the Ice Type Gym Leader (she even has an Abomasnow too) and Coin who's Saturn's (a Galactic Admin). It's really weird but cool to see, because normally with these kind of tropes they'll end up being almost identical, even as far as jobs, personality, etc. But in the real world our own ancestors probably did a variety of different things too so it makes more real-world sense, even if it's a bit jarring at first seeing "good guys" ancestors be bandits and "bad guys" ancestors be good (Like Mars, another Galaxy Admin, who's ancestor in Legends is a Diamond Clan member who helps out at the Hairdressers)
@@Umbrellie_ Just the Galaxy Team as a whole. The descendant of the Survey Corps Captain is a leader of the now evil Team Galactic and has a God-Complex. The descendent of the current Galaxy leader is a pokemon professor.... It's nuts all around.
You kinda got it flipped. Depending on who you choose in game, Akari is Lucas's ancestors, while picking Dawn would make Rei her Ancestor. It's why when you appear in the world, you see the male/female counterpart of your chosen character.
Both Cogita and Volo are meant to represent Champion Cynthia, not just Cogita. Here's an Easter Egg for you: Take a good look at the design of the floor during the Arceus encounter at the end of the game. The design is the same as the one seen during the Arceus event (in the very small Sinjoh region) from HG/SS!
Here's my theory in team Galaxy and Team Galactic. One theory is that Cyrus ancestors took over Team Galaxy and changed it into Team Galatic while changing their goals, since we see Cyrus ancestor Cyllene. But this change would happen slowly over time along with the goal shifting. The other theory I have is that just like the clan Diamond and the clan Pearl, Team Galaxy also faded away slolwy after they developed more and bigger with more people trusting Pokémon and becoming less scared of them. While it did 3 different teams did fizzle away, Cyrus was inspired by what his ancestors did and decided to bring back Team Galaxy but change it to Team Galactic, but with a different goal, one where it can cause the destruction of the world just to create a new universe. But that's my only two theories and how I can see the connection of Team Galaxy and Team Galatic. I do like how you're called a grunt which makes me go "but I'm the best grunt this game will ever see."
I’m pretty sure all of the look alikes are supposed to be ancestors and if that’s the case then at the end the leader of team galaxy decides to study Pokémon and cylene takes over as the new leader I’m assuming it just went from there
Platinum goes over what happens with Cyrus. His parents were abusive and pushed him to hard amd while his grandfather toom him in it was too late and he became obsessed with finding the Legendaries of spear pillar
@@lucianjaeger1708 Yea, like maybe one of Volo's later descendants, secretly carrying down their father's dream, met up with one of Cyllene's descendants, and eventually took over the Galaxy Team (with or without the need of another descendant between them) and eventually lead to Cyrus to lead the now Team Galactic. Maybe there's a few more steps and hiccups to this ordeal, but that's the short of how I theorize the connection between Volo, the Galaxy Team, and Team Galactic.
@@tresaidh3y90 it would probably be legends: rayquaza I would think either way a legends game for hoenn and unova would be cool but legends johto or hoenn would be my pick too bad there’s not much lore or history for kanto to have one
what about the water fall in Coronet Highlands with Magikarp at the bottom and Gyarados that is based on the concept of their design "The concept of Magikarp evolving into Gyarados is based on the Chinese mythological tale of the carps leaping over the Dragon Gate. According to the legend, carps that leap over a legendary waterfall called the Dragon Gate are rewarded for their perseverance and transformed into dragons."
So the chimney Easter egg isn't just for visual. It actually tells you where certain characters are from, prior to Legends: Arceus. Those characters are Kamado (commander of the Galaxy Team), Beni (Wallflower owner and Kamado's right hand) and Professor Laventon. They are all from Galar region and relocated due to a wild Pokemon destroying their hometown there
I would have led with volo he has a lot more in common with Cynthia than cogita does. They look much more like and he even uses her exact team in his final fight except for substituting mylotic for Arcanine. They could both be connected to Cynthia but if only one of them is it's definitely volo
@@galaxycat1875 he just has the same hair and eye color is volkner which soda Cynthia. But that's the only similarity he has. Besides Volkner already has an identified ancestor ginter the other ginko clan merchant. He has the same hair it's just Gray and he has the same face shape and is even sitting in the same pose that volkner is pictured in in diamond and Pearl
@@galaxycat1875 which now that you make me think about it all of the ginko clan have blonde hair and blue eyes except for ginter who probably did when he was younger. Maybe Cynthia volkner and barry are all descendants of the ginko clan. That one female merchant with ginter does have similar hair to barry
@@noremac7216 pretty sure Cynthia, Volo and cogita are all descendants of the Celestia tribe, the oldest sinnoh tribe. That's why they all tend to know the most lore about the region.
I have always loved pokemon games when they do crazy things like #10. weird bizarre ways to catch and evolve pokemon has been my favorite thing since feebas.
The best part of how the Arceus map roughly layers on top of the original Sinnoh map is that if you stick around an area long enough an updated version of the locations song starts to play.
@sushigamer-Gaming every wednesday I did and I am. There is not a single tune you can hum to yourself from this game. Plus most of the music are just remasters of songs they already made.
Loved seeing Ingo in the story and hearing his brief theme, if anyone remembers, his design reminds me of colonel.exe from the megaman battle network series, overall I was happy
Cogita actually refers to sinnoh as ancient sinnoh in one of her dialogues and following the old poems if you assume they're Cogita that would mean she's from the future and Cynthia is actually cogita's ancestor
I have one you guys missed. When you get to call Sneasel for Info he says it's like a hidden move but pokemon don't have hidden moves. Which is was fly and surf and the others were called once upon a tine
When your character throws an Ultra ball to Dialga/Palkia when it starts to glow, that was actually the ball where you keep Dialga/Palkia. You're not trying to catch it, you were trying to battle it but then big explosion occur. Good thing you summoned Dialga/Palkia from the pokeball you threw and was protected as shown in the cutscene.
To comment on how someone would figure out Qwilfish's evolution method, I actually think the game did a decent job at hinting at it. If you look at the research tasks for Qwilfish, the bottom three are: evolution, using a particular move, using a particular style. It's one of the few entries to specifically mention a move, so putting that info together with the style and knowing there is an evolution, it's actually not as cryptic as it might seem. The same thing is done with Stantler's research tasks.
Also - I saw so much reference to pokemon dungeon... the way it opened with light asking who you are; then the professor learning how you came from another world; then the requests on his board; the officer giving you stars to climb the rank; the "missions"; "the next day" commentary and scenes; all nicked from classic pokemon dungeon - not to mention that was the first game you threw objects to hurt pokemon as you do in this game. Due to all it's similarities- I was waiting for the moment to be exiled by the leaders and the town to then explore the land to save the world from impending doom. It happened (but less morbid then p dungeons). Cheered as I did this bit - nothing like nostalgia. :)
Little fact, manaphy's cave is actually open at all times. There will just be nothing in it. The trigger is just for Manaphy to appear I stumbled upon it and was confused since it was empty. I later found out about the Manaphy mission from the professor and just assumed itd appear there
When you fight Volo, His battle theme is very similar to when you hear cynthias theme. Also i think the professor is also a time traveler. He mentions the ride pokemon of Alola , and his clothes dont match the times. no one else in the game has buttons on their clothes .
At no. 1, the Pearl clan tents also have pictures! The same picture of an Alder-esque person and someone clearly meant to be Archie. Maybe Alder(‘s ancestor) is the Ancient Hero the clans both respect? And how funny that Maxie and Archie’s rivalry has such deep roots!
Alder is the only person in Pokémon who's dialogue is written exclusively in traditional Japanese, suggesting he is older than he appears or just from the past. It is also stated in dialogue that he is always wandering and has travelled so long he doesn't recall his home. I think Alder maybe be immortal or have maybe swapped places with Ingo
Also his design of having 10 pokeballs hang from his neck and waist is because he is said to not understand any technology, so just carries all his Pokémon with him when travelling.
Yeah while it's unconfirmed for most characters it was confirmed that Komado is the Ancestor of Rowan and it was confirmed that he wouldn't be the only one. A few examples: Clover=Candice, Arezu=Mars, Coin=Jupiter, etc.
I think the Galar Weezing chimney is supposed to be a nod to Laventon's home. He says he came to Jubilife Village from far away, just like pretty much everyone else in the village, but given the rather obvious connections to the UK and Galar, the professor's clothes, and... I dunno, maybe it's me, but "Laventon" sounds incredibly English... this wouldn't be surprising. I think it was a design choice pointing to his original home, just a little easter egg. Or, yknow, I'm looking too far into it? Lol
You're right on, Prof. Laventon actually confirms this in a pokédex entry for raichu! He mentions Copperajah that live in his homeland, and Copperajah live in Galar! I also think it makes sense for him to be from Galar just due to the time period, PLA is supposed to be set during the Meiji Restoration Era of Japan (1868-1912) which was its real first shift towards modernization and westernization, introducing new styles such as architecture like the building. Its also the time period where Japan first officially controlled Hokkaido, which could explain why its so empty in the game and unexplored apart from the clans on Sinnoh/Hisui!
In the Japanese version, Professor Laventon is the only one character who would shout out in English. Yes, not in katakana form, but in pure English. I was a bit surprised when I first saw him talking like that.
I never rlly missed the Ingo one, I played pokemon white 2 and already noticed that this is the same guy and not an ancestor. also I'm pretty sure team galactic got inspiration from the galaxy team
I enjoyed the game, glad I pre-ordered it and got it but what startled me was battling Volo. Volo was... well... I think it's best to go unsaid. Damn team destroyers.
This might of been me, but if you pick a male character. When he gets attacked or falls off a hill he makes the same noise that link does. And if your character gets attacked by hypnosis and he falls asleep, Epona's song gets played while your asleep.
7:49 there is a cutscene where you talk to kamado and cyllene on the roof. kamado reveals where they got there name and tells cyllene that team galaxy will not always be needed. she then tells him she'll pass the name down to her descendants... which is kinda messed up as cyrus, a direct descendant, uses said name and bastardizes it.
Volo is Cynthia's ancestor. Cogita could also be, maybe they hook up lol. Arezu is Mars' ancestor, both look identical and their names are parallels, Ares is the Greek god of war and Mars is the Roman god of war.
@@pokemonster6122 lol there's no way cogita is volos mom. Cogita isn't an old lady. If you've seen anime you would know that white hair is really common even for young characters.
*POST-GAME SPOILER* I think Volo is the connection between Team Galactic and Galaxy Team. After all, his goal is essentially the same as Team Galactic. Plus, he is revealed(after the main story is over) to be the one who caused the space-time rift that the story focused on to form, so he’s “secretly” the main antagonist.
That's... Actually awesome lol. Because like, any other Legends in the first four gens will all be in Japan, so the aesthetic would be similar, even if Kanto, Johto and Hoenn have different details or approaches. Kanto and Johto would definitely be heavier into the samurai/feudal theme because Johto itself has that, while Kanto could have a more steampunk feel. But Unova, Kalos and Alola? Wild west would be awesome, specially if they focus on horse riding for a theme, and give us a little more dueling focus (this game is all about research, so few battles). Kalos could easily be more medieval again, but with knights and stuff. I dunno what Alola would do, but I bet it would be more about sailing or something, because that is/was a big part of their culture. Legends has basically the best options for games
@@alkaupadhyay7650 yeah to be fair I was like half asleep when I wrote that and to also be fair I want more games set in the us or neighboring regions like Canada and Mexico
Am I the only one that noticed the chimneys shaped like Galarian Weezing all the way back from the first trailer that showed them off? Also almost everyone with the exception of Ingo is an ancestor to someone. Some are more obvious than others. Kamado's resemblance to Prof Rowan was just the most obvious.
Volo literally uses the same team as Cynthia... pretty sure he's her ancestor. Also, It's a little poetic how Cynthia's ancestor is the bad guy, while Cyrus's ancestor (Captain Cyllene) is a good guy...
I really hope they give us some DLC in the near future. There are a little under 250 pokemon in Arceus, so there are a lot missing. I'd love to see the full roster added along with some new regions to explore. This is a title that I'd be happy to purchase a season pass for.
A full roster is not necessary but new regions are, I'd rather we have some islands to explore, for example, and some new pokémon than everything else, even tho I want some of my favorites in the game (like Mareep)
Here’s some more. I don’t remember but someone mentions alolan pokemon being used to be rode around. Also warden lian has to be a child version or something of black and white gym leader clay
I like the attack on titan reference. That kid saying "when can I explore outside of these walls?" And the adult said something about how pokemon are terrifying
I’ve never ever played Pokemon or been interested in it in the slightest, but the characters always look amazing, unique and interesting. That Cricketoon (?) creature thing looks amazing. I’d want to be him.
@@KTJMProductions Ummmmmm, maybe. But I literally have no idea about any of it. I know nothing of the lore, the mechanics or anything at all. Too much for me to get into now.
7:15 Adding to the number 5 as for connections between hisuian galaxy team and sinnoh’s one, there’s Cyllene herself. She is an obvious ancestor of Cyrus, starting from the name which vaguely recalls him to the appearence itself (blue hairs + somewhat “sunken” eyes, don’t know how to say it better)
LoA is heavily implied to be the sequal to Diamond and Pearl, with either Dawn (Akari/Hikari - both mean Light in japanese btw), or Lucas getting sent back in time to the Hisui Era. To further connect the two, in BDSP, if you complete the LoA pokedex and fight Arceus, you can instantly get the Azure Flute in BDSP and fight Arceus again at the top of Mount Coronet and acquire him there.
Volo has got to be the son to Cogita. Volo is also the ancestor to Cynthia, they have the SAME team (platinum) except for Arcanine being swapped with Milotic
Lol what😂. There are so many ways they can be related. They could be cousins. Or maybe the get get together and have kids. There's no way Volo is her son
When I saw the connection between Kamado and the professor from The original diamond pearl games i remembered that in German the language I play the game in professor Laven (Laventon) speaks some words in the beginning of the sentence in English and since the game also refers to other regions and that he as well came from somewhere else I think he could be from the galar region since it is the equivalent of England and no information is given from where he was coming from. It's just a theory and I didn't saw anyone talk or write about it so I thought I let it out here since it is an Easter egg video xD
I think Volvo is more likely Cynthia’s ancestor. He basically uses the same Pokémon as she does in Platinum. Plus as you said, has interest in legends and archeology.
Hearing the citizen talking about where they are from like different regions and Ingo from B/W makes me think there is gonna be possible DlC to travel to different regions and catch new pokemon. Maybe by boat. or another magical portal. but that means they got to increase the Pens to hold more pokemon of course.
Inga isn’t the first time they did this. In fact what they did to Inga is almost exactly the same as to what they did to Anabel. She was put into a new game, lost her memories, and received help which led to her getting a new job. Also Inga is from the battle subway and Anabel is from the battle tower in Emerald Did they just copy and pasted the idea and changed a few things to make it less obvious
@Gameranx - you missed another amazing (galar weezing-like) Easter egg which I thought you'd cover with Cogita. If you look at the teapot and teacup on her table she sits at outaide, they are the exact same pieces that sinistea and polteageist haunt. Also, her look is based off the Gothita pokemon (as if her name didn't give that away).
