What happens when you send a message to one of your friends through a messenger app?

I have 1 question. I noticed the check marks on each. 1 blue checkmark and 2 blue checkmarks. I notice that when it's 2 of them,the message has been seen. But what does the gray checkmark mean?

How do I know that you don't save data on your servers? Just because you say that? Signal app (even though they have security problems with desktop app) open sourced its code, and that's why people trust them.

Thanks for your comment Rudolf, making your codes open source does not always necessarily prove great security. We have done a lot of research on other messenger's open sources and a lot of the codes are missing or they show old versions of their code because honestly, they would be foolish to give everything away. Sadly we can't show our unique technology codes to the public becuase we actually sell our White Product, so if you want to see them, you'll have to buy our business products.

Well, at least Signal is more transparent (okay may be they have some precompiled binaries in C++, that hard to detect). Take a look at Telegram App, even though they don't publish their server-side code (what makes them less transparent), at least you could compile client side code from sources and make sure that messages are really encrypted at least on your side, and they sell corporate messenger solutions too.. Well you, guys are smart, you know better that it sound weird to say "just trust us, we are not like others".

Pls clear my doubts in this app messages ,photos ,videos are for longer or not .reinstall this app then my messages,photos will be back up or not.i can restore messages ,photos ,videos when i reinstall zangi???plzzz reply
