I a person that prefer to relax and take it all in. I don't jump around, scream or dance. I'm too busy enjoying what I'm seeing/hearing. I don't understand this conversation.
i think people went to see Beyonce but did not listen 2 the album at least in sweden. when she went to Brussels and Cardiff however the crowd knew all the words and were jumping up and down
The video when you said she looked displeased with the crowd, she was not. In fact we kept singing love on top and it surprised her because we didn’t stop we kept going, that is what surprised her. But over all on the rest of the concert yes the audience lacked energy. Swedes are shy, they feel it and loved it a 1000% but are shy to let go and let lose sadly. Like Zara said many of us swedes are shy people and I do with all my heart wish we have a next time with B to redeem ourselves. 🙏🏼
@@Aced84 You don’t understand what I’m saying it seems like. First of all the tickets in Sweden were very cheap compared to the US and once again this is how Swedes act. They find it rude for people to be loud and noisy (Yes even at concerts). I would know because I live in Sweden. Obviously it’s a generalization but this is how many Sweden think and behave. Just because YOU would act a certain way at a concert does not mean that everyone would behave in that manner. Clearly it seems like you are culturally different from Swedes which I’m assuming is why you find them boring.
Well why start your tour in Sweden and then complain? Beyonce has been touring for 3 decades, she should know by now how every country is different. Swedish people think its rude to be loud and expressive, they have a different culture, doesnt mean they didnt enjoy it.
@@awesomeandperfect1719 They are not the kind of people to tell and scream and shout. They probably never did that in their life. If you know anything about sweden, you would know this. What she should have done is not start her tour in sweden lol
@@faysalals1 or not even go to sweden whatsoever as it seems, even if that was the final country as you are saying people would still be dead in there so…
@@awesomeandperfect1719 Yeah sure I agree, but then that means she shouldnt go to china and asian countries, or germany. If she want loud cheerful fans, just go to America and London.
She's been doing this for years and I'm sure she's used to different crowds having different energy. In Japan, the audiences are really quiet and if you search YT you'll see her and other performers trying to get some life out of the crowd. No big diss. On to the next town.
I think any performer who poured as much thought, time, money and talent into their performance as Beyonce did has a right to shade a dry audience 🤷🏽♀️ Concerts are a two way street.
No, they are not a 2 way street. She is the worker bee. Beyonce is simply there for the fans enjoyment. She is being paid ridiculous amounts of money. Maybe she should put a little more effort into repaying her audiences. She is plain old lazy sometimes and expects to much from the colony that has literally given her everything.
No they are not. She's selling a product, and the audience is a customer. She charged a ridiculous amount of money for tickets. She has no right to complain
Yeah it’s a two way street, you paid for a performance and you got one with expensive props and great singing but you don’t get the same energized performance if the energy is lacking from the audience. They got what they paid for. Some ppl sound entitled to celebrities because they gave them money, smh…
@@mjay0019 You kind of are entitled when you paid for admission. It's called a transaction. Doesn't say anywhere on the ticket that you are required to dance and sing along to anything for the performers enjoyment
😅No drama needed ... Swedes are just shy and kinda reserved people, trust me if they didn't love Beyoncé the 2 nights wouldn't be sold out and it's definitely not the 1st time Beyoncé made a tour in Sweden, so she was somehow prepared to that👍. She's a professional 💯. I love the fact that from a country to another the crowd is different, but they all share finally the same love for Bey : diversity is important (btw, let's congratulate Bey' renewing its team of dancers, calling back also les Twins + Hannah Douglass). We love both Beyoncé, Zara Larsson, Sweden ❤.
Like I'm watching the Beyonce concert clips for the audience 😂 I will know the entire show forwards and backwards, and have appropriate outfit changes to match 😅😁
As one, who's continent - never mind country (South Africa), rarely ever seem to form a part of many singer's "world tour" it kinda hurts to see an audience be lacklustre/polite, especially at a live show for a dance album! Come back to Joburg Bey...we'll give you what we gave you at the Mandela 100 performance and more! 😊
@Northern Boi Kindly learn how the comment section works. My comment was a reaction to a Swedish singer, highlighting her own people's reserved nature, at a dance album's concert. While acknowledging my feelings (and likely those also shared by the performer) on how it could be perceived as disinterest, I still managed to call it polite - in a nod to it, possibly, being due to culture. Hope that clears things up for you 🙂
LOL this is such an interesting story .... But personally I wouldn't expect every Beyoncé fan to act the same. It's kinda like anything else nice. Some people order caviar and go on and on about it, and some just eat it cuz they like it. They don't have to be expressive about it simply because it's a luxury.
Concerts are an exchange of energy but honestly she wasn't also giving her usual hype and body movement. I do think the sweeds were entitled to a show which they never received. In the first shows the dancers were not in the typical beyonce sync it looks like they rushed the choreography together a night before the show.
they're not even watching the performance. they're livestreaming or recording with their phones in their face. Before artists could feed of energy and get hype. these last two generations have ruined that.
@@sevenproxies4255 It won't. People still pay for the tickets, stream music, & buy merch so the artist gets paid either way. Then they post the video to the internet and artists get more hype and recognition.
I don't think she was disappointed and in my opinion the crowd energy was up, i enjoyed watching the video so i can't imagine A LIVE SHOW W/O crowd energy. It seemed like the entire audience was singing LOVE ON TOP.
Let's be clear. Beyonce is supposed to be entertaining, not being entertained. She is supposed to be working; the audience has the evening off. Beyonce might need to stop getting high on her own supply. She is renumerated generously for simply showing up. Maybe Beyonce "better work" as she is the one singing for her supper. Or maybe she starts showing up to smaller stadiums that she can actually fill, without giving away tickets to seat fillers.
I think playing in smaller venue would have benefited her more to be honest. The smaller venue, the louder audience and also more of her true fans will show up.
Just be realistic Beyoncé might not go back I keep hearing people keep complaining about the Crowd her first leg of her concert the crowd was to cold her second concert the energy was more hyped it seem you one of a strong fans which I am to but going forward you might have to fly to another country to see her in concert 🎵
Y’all clearly lack cultural competence when it comes to black people!!! 😆😆😆 That face that she made was not one of disappointment. It was a compliment! That face equates to “OK!!! That’s what I’m talking about!” 💁🏾♀️ She was surprised and impressed because they went an octave higher like they were supposed to at that part of the song. If you didn’t know, the song is called Love On Top and the chorus increases an octave each time it is sung towards the end. Also, I’m sure performers of Beyoncé’s caliber, are usually well informed of what to culturally expect of the audience they are performing for.
I live right here in Southern California and will be just sitting letting Beyonce entertain me. I'm not paying to entertain someone else. Oh, Beyonce will come back if you guys got the 💰 bag.😅
I’m not even a beehive …bee …? …is that what there called ….I’m a Janet fan all day BUT Beyoncé will have more grace than to call out a whole city just saying 😊
I was there the second night and took away and observed things that might be the reason the Swedes were a "lame" crowd: - The arena was half empty (the second night, don't know about the first) so no there were not 50 000 people there, for sure. - In the middle of the arena floor (where the standing crowd is) there was a wierd elevated platform where some Swedish celebrety people were on (VIP section probably) that blocked the view for people sitting behind it completely (no one stood behind it therefore that section of the floor was totally empty but there were people that had seats on the bench rows so they could not see much) , so of course people will not go up and dance and cheer if they don't see anything. - The concert was on a Wednesday and Thursday i.e. work days, people are tired after work and school (yes more tired than you would think you would be, I find it a valid excuse for low energy level). Beyonce also were about an hour late second night as well, so no people don't have the most energy at times like that. - Half of the people were partners that had been dragged along, they didn't even know the artist i guess haha. - They did not sell any alcohol in the arena, only light beer, soda and random snacks..many people need one or two drinks to let loose And to add, I think many of the people the second day were not hardcore Beyonce fans, I am one of those. I still loved the concert though, she was incredible. Yes Zara, even non fans enjoys going to concerts of artists that they particulary are not fans of just to experince it (and tickets were cheap), but sure the experience of arena concert might not had been there fully though haha. But sure us as a crowd might not have been the best I understand but if she doesn't want to go back to Stockholm that is her choice to make I am surprised she chose Stockholm and not Copenhagen, there she would have gotten an incredible crowd.
Yikes. The fact that Stockholm was the first stop of her tour, she did not deserve this "shy" treatment. Sorry Zara, but she is never coming back. Wasted opportunity there.
Bey’s got to cool down.. to always expect a singing , lively audience is too much, she works hard, but the audience is a audience, not always on that level 24/7. As a person who did karaoke when the artists didn’t do anything, karaoke turned into only reacting when the performer is singing on key and dancing etc. expectations are too high.
So what was the demographic of this audience?! Because from the panorama, most of the crowd looked 50+ so yeah they probably wouldn’t be up and dancing hmm 🤔 they looked older generation x and baby boomers
I saw a video from a friend, either she is getting old or she isn’t giving it her best. According to what I’ve heard she didn’t do the dance moves she usually does and it’s more toned down. Maybe because of that possible surgery. Also she was 1 hour delayed again and people were starting to get tired due to wasting their time. And then she has the audacity to require audience to give energy to her?? She should be happy that people even attend and have patience to wait for her, she should give the party mode. I saw a concert once 3 years, she was 3 hours delayed and it wasn’t that good show. Sorry but she is no major megastar here, just a big artist. Get down from your high horse and preform better, we have other artists who love to preform here
Hope Beyonce Saw this and read this. And Will never come back to Sweden. I feel sorry for Zara Larsson for defending Swedish people... Look how much Zara loves Bey. But the other hand, so many people like you displease about this...
@@Limaniyaa Not many would care, nobody is forcing her to come here and the demand will not be big after this charade in the media. So for me personally I wouldn’t care 1% if she comes back or not.
