If I was willing to bet. You already had your object UVs mapped before exporting out your texture maps with polypaint on.

Can you export such maps to UE5 to use for the Unreal modelling tools?

Honestly, I'm still pretty fresh making my move from Unity to Unreal, so I can't really say for sure, but unless UE5 uses extremely unorthodox mapping file types, these maps should work for most any AAA software. They're just standard black/white and normal maps really -

It has to be UVd first and then you’d apply this tutorial
