Hello mate. Mine is alwso blown but i got no Compresson in the pistons, is it just the head gasket? Or something els? Best regards from norway

it hard to tell ive never know a headgas kit to fail like that but ive seen some wird things happen. Mine was head was warped so failed on piston 4 one of my mates had his go and cracked two of his pistons at the same time with what ive done in the past best thing is to pull head off and cheack if head warped and look for cracks in pistons and see if thare is any play from side to side or deep scratches in piston bores that would mean bigger probles hope this helps you mate

That depends on if you say having a older bother that is and friends and been working on cars since I was 5 year's old rebuilt 15 engines done car flips body work ECT I've never been paid to do it as a job and the would fastest and highest HP cars and engines have been built in a back yard not a shop as when you get paid to do a job in the shop faster you do it and more jobs you do more you get paid so most that are done in a shop are slapped together and fingers crossed and hope for the best and that it last untill warranty is over 👌

Wow that’s a really good price on a head, hopefully she holds up. Have you done the glow plug timer mod since replacing? Also wondering if you re used all the old intake and exhaust manifold studs and gaskets

Yes head is going good bottom end gave out I can say good buy

@@TheJanope13 no it threw a bearings out from balance shaft and seized number 3 piston bearing because of it puting flakes of mettal in engine blocking oil flow but its all good rebuliding engine now and in mean time fixing other thing on car while im there so she is back in good order 😃new vids will be up soon of what we are doing to the patrol and on the toyota 80 series so keep tuned
