Still loving this all this time later. There are so many reasons I love this. You have all these bejewelled super athletic 18 year olds with extremely complicated choreography and backup dancers and props. Then a bunch of grinning dads show up in random clothes doing a cute little sway to a hootenanny and the crowd goes WILD.

A few of us polish, romanians, Italians,Moldavian’s, Serbians, Croatians and much more, we went to our local Irish pub, Everyone was prepared for Eurovision. Everything lovely, until MOLDOVA started this song. Everyone went mental. One of the most crazy Things I’ve seen. All night people were dancing.

Which is pretty ok since Eurovision must be super expensive to hold, but still a bit if a bummer that you're always 99% doomed from the start anyway. Sorry for being a comment section bummer btw :)) it just hits sometimes Moldavians were amazing 🔥 and knowing the language makes it even better!

I don't care what anyone says, this is the single best entry in the entire history of the Eurovision, this is how Eurovision should be like, traditional with every country singing in its mother tongue, to feel the spirit of every single country competing in the contest. Yes, the atmosphere in the arena completely changed during this song and the audience was electric for the rest of the show because of this song. They completely changed the energy. Just when the Eurosong was getting too monotone with too many nothing special ballads Moldova showed up and carried the show. Haha those were my thoughts, Moldova saved the show that night.

Actually, Romania' s Jury gave the 12 points to Moldavia. But they weren't allowed to enter the live stream so they can say whom they gave their points to. They also received an announcement that there are some "vote procedure irregularities "in regards to 6 country-participants and those countries' votes are cancelled. They didn't give any details and, at the moment, Romania' s Jury is trying to get an answer for what really happened.

Moldova knows how to make a good show at Eurovision. Their best results has come when they've sent fun and energetic songs. They can also send ballads and pop songs and do good, but Moldova's strength lies with the fun party songs, and I think they're aware of that. Moldova, despite being Europe's poorest nation, has an incredibly high chance to take the trophy home one day.
