Zelda Ice Dungeon Tier List | Ranking Every Ice and Snow Dungeon in The Legend of Zelda 

I urge you to play A Link Between Worlds again. The Ice Ruins is quite a clever dungeon and fairly challenging the first time through, it definitely deserves to be much higher up on the tier list.

I spent HOURS in snowhead my first time because I punched the blocks out of the central pillar incorrectly and when I still couldn’t reach the next floor I assumed I had missed something in a previous room. And even though I can fly through that dungeon now no problem, that first play through completely soured my opinion of it forever.

That song in the background at the beginning of the video get a lot of love in the Zelda community. At least 2 Zelda podcasts I listen to use it as well!

Ice ruins is the best in my opinion. Not only my favorite ice dungeon but one of my top 3 zelda dungeons.

Ice dungeons, a rare breed! Just finished Oracle of Seasons and found Sword & Shield Maze a blast.

My rough ranking (been a while - I like ice dungeons so I don't really have anything below B tier): S Tier - Snowpeak Ruins (TP) A Tier - Temple of Droplets (MC) Snow Temple (ST) Temple of Ice (PH) B Tier - Snowhead Temple (MM) - borderline A tier Ice Ruins (ALBW) Ice Palace (ALttP) - I don't mind this one, the atmosphere stood out in ALttP Sword and Shield Maze (I remember this the least, but I do love the dungeons in the Oracle games)

Snowhead. If you fall down to the bottom, use Deku Link walk into the lava and it brings you back up to the floor you were on. Now Snowhead can move up on the list. Yo Essay, I'm actually not gonna take a dump on you this time about LttP. Slipping around that labyrinth, all the penguins and that one bloody set of stairs... Ya it's pretty bad Essay. See ya Dude!

I know a lot of people don't particularly like ice dungeons but I have 3 in the top ten best zelda dungeons of all time.

I freaking love ice Dungeons. Clicked on this as soon as I saw it

Improperly goron rolling around the turns or jumping one of the gaps in the main room of Snowhead temple and falling all the way down was one of my least favorite parts of Majora's Mask. N64 controls were pretty janky and how far you have to go to get back to the top near the boss if you fell was super annoying and tedious. The boss battle is amazing I will say though.

Ice caverns is also very annoying, cause blue fire is one of the worse mechanics in the game imo, they shouldve atleast made it so ice arrows can melt red ice to give it some use outside of bongo bongo lol (also, potential hot take, but i actually find bongo bongo even easier with ice arrows lol)

I think i dread the ice dungeons as much as the water ones if not more..i cant think of an ice dungeon i like..even the a link to the past ice dungeon was annoying..i acually liked misey mire..maybe my favourite in a link to the past. I liked the ice cavern music in ocarina of time..thats it the music. Fair list.

The one from twilight princess needs to be S-tier, let's see where you've put it

Phantom Hourglass Ice Temple is too high. Snowhead Temple, Sword and Shield Maze, and Ice Ruins should be higher.
