Since Zelda wields the Tri Rod in Echoes of Wisdom, I hope Nintendo hasn’t forgotten her divine power and her signature weapon- her Bow of Light.

Echoes of Wisdom very creative & new Cant wait for Sept.

Few things I noticed in various rewatches: -Death Mountain is in NW Hyrule. The only other games it or its analogue have been in the NW is in Zelda 1 and the Four Swords trilogy (it’s Center-NW in FSA). All other times it’s either Center (South-Center for AoL) or NE on mainland Hyrule. -This is the first game we have two different Zora species interacting with each other: the River Zora from Zelda 1, ALttP, LA, OoS/OoA, and ALBW; and another one that looks like a mix between the Zora from OoT, MM, OoA WW (picture/spirit only) and the most recent Zora from BotW/TotK (RIP TP Zora). The closest we got to such a meeting was in OoA where one of the OoT Zora in an underwater village SW says “Don’t mistake us with those uncultured River Zora!” or something like that. ALBW also establishes a hierarchy for the River Zora, but most of them as the Queen and her retainers acknowledge don’t seem to respect it and do their own thing, so seeing the two groups meet up for the first time is groundbreaking. -Tri’s little triangles are your resource for making echoes. You can get more of them as you start off with three yet there are chips where Tri has and uses four of them. Each echo has a cost associated with it. Objects, the bird, the Trap echo use one. Moblins, Skulltulas (or whatever the spiders are supposed to be), the fire snake equivalent, and that one angler fish take two. ReDeads, Deku Babas, and the Deku Scrub/Peahat looking thing require three. It looks like you can summon echoes beyond the cap, but it likely makes previous echoes disappear in the order in which they were made as indicated in the Gerudo Town clip when the first bed began flashing. Also Tri very much gives me Koco from Sonic Frontiers vibes just based on appearance.

Even though Zelda is playable in this upcoming game. But it's not the first time she's playable.

It looks like a promising surprise I'll admit. And Tri looks adorable, fingers crossed that Tri will be a good sidekick character. I do hope they don't forget Zelda's Bow of Light with Light Arrows either. i am curious as to where it would be if it were part of the timeline though; ah well, wait for game release first, timeline speculations later.

Long time, no Zelda news. I am very happy we got the announcement for ports of Four Swords and other GBA content to the Switch library. Even happier we are getting another Link's Awakening Remake art style game. The Mario universe has seen a lot of game collections, two stellar RPG game remakes, a second Rabbids crossover game with Ubisoft, new game announcements, and the Illumination movie in the past three years. I was just saying it's about time we got some new Zelda news, despite Tears of the Kingdom only being a year old as of May 2024.

Zelda can really become part of the Dudley Boyz with those tables she gon be like Zelda: Tri.....GET THE TABLES!!!!

Definitely a day one purchase for me. I am still surprised it’s so soon!

I am excited for the game to launch, what did it for me is how TOTK-like the mechanics seem to be. I also didn't miss how the "echoes" seem to use one of the triangles that form the tail Tri has. Maybe, one of the upgrades in the game is to increase the number of triangles Tri has. One hypothesis I have is that part of the plot is to collect a certain number of triangles in order to create the Triforce of Wisdom Zelda wields in order to restore order back to Hyrule. But that's just a...it's just a thought I have. I'm excited to play it once it gets released.

It's curious to see a game where we don't get to play zelda and play his princess instead, what was her name again.. was it link? Probably should name the game the legend of link to avoid confusion.

I rather have the ''Link between worlds'' design. they had eyes with life to them. these look like redead eyes to me 🧟‍♀...just compare Zelda in both this and that game. not saying the game will be bad, it's just a design preference.

I find the feminizing or racial swaps of main charters very boring… but this is a game legacy called “ The legend of Zelda” lol I still want link incarnations but Zelda def can have some games to herself

Yeah you can play as Zelda but she’s got no sword 🗡 very boring I prefer a character that can defend themselves this reminds me of resident evil 4 where the other girl Ashley who has no weapon very boring what’s the point
