We start to hit a wall in this episode and I get desperate!
With some of the craziest new settings being introduced to Ocarina of Time Randomizer, I knew this was the time to begin our next adventure. There is at least twice as many locations items can be located this time, if not more. Strap in as we enter Insanity Mode!

Two things that'll help: You can use hover boots from kokiri shop roof to reach that magic bean spot with all the goodies, just make sure you're running at full speed and roll on way You can jump down from the music spot at Zoras river waterfall to "dive" into the water and grab the key there

Thinking on past videos, a few more checks that may be obscure: The potion lady sells something for 100 rupees after you give her mushroom if you have trade items shuffled If you do the bow mini game before getting the bow, it only gives you money, but after obtaining the bow, you'll get the actual reward The chest game guy sells you an item, I don't think I saw you talking to him? I also think you only did one of two high pots in the market entrance guard room Hope this helps!

Correct me if it's been done already. Graveyard crate. Scratchy Boi on the Lon Lon bedroom window. Spiderweb grotto by the Gerudo Valley entrance, you have Din's Fire and Magic now. Scratchy Boi on the tiny waterfall in Gerudo Valley. Despite the pain of not getting good stuff too often, I am still really enjoying the series, I really appreciate that you don't "skip" to the next part, you fast forward instead so we get to follow along. Hang in there, good stuff is coming! Favorite nuts for me are Chilli Nuts.

The graveyard crate CAN be gotten without magic beans, which we don't have, but it's ridiculously precise and I believe that all the skulltulas at the ranch are locked to child link and thus require the boomerang. I could be mistaken on the latter though

@@TheKabuto90 Damn, you're absolutely right about the Lon Lon one being child only. I completely forgot about that. At least for the base game it's child only, is it the same for randomizers? And yes, I mentioned the graveyard crate because he can reach it with the longshot. I just couldn't remember if he's already done it though.

you technically have a register of 6 semitones with only one note on the ocarina if you use the analog stick up/down and the z-button. analog stick left/right is vibrato. won't help you beat the game, but it actually makes the in game ocarina a fairly expressive instrument!

Seven semitones, actually, or a perfect 5th. (Z for -1, R for +1, stick up/down for anything from +2 to -2, any and all of which can stack.) And really, while your _range_ is limited to a 5th, you have a near-continuum of pitches in between by adjusting how far you push the stick. If you want to do some weird microtonal thing, you absolutely can. (Though I'd not recommend it without some form of TAS tools; getting precise stick values with an N64 controller is notorioiously finicky.)

Can’t you buy random items from the magic bean dealer? Even if they aren’t randomized you should be able to get some checks by planting them normally. And also you can get the golden skulltula’s underneath all the soil patches.

13:50 There might be some Mandela Effect stuff going on, but I remember at some point approaching that exact tree…either as Young Link, or as Adult Link and Hookshotting the claw mark…and Dark Link (from the Water Temple, fitting location) literally leapt out of the mark and started the whole miniboss fight. I know that it’s some kind of Mandela Effect stuff because it’s not recorded anywhere but I for sure remember that. Could also maybe be from some romhack or just faulty memory.

This is one of those playground rumors that I remember hearing about at one point. It may have spawned from the fact that that exact same tree is used for the dark link room.

5:13 Also good thing that somehow the Deku Shield doesn't get burned by the fire of these rocks! 9:02 To be precise, the Running Man in this game unlike Majora etc. Oh, and let's not forget he's also Il Piantissimo from Sunshine even though you never get to see under his mask in game! 9:36 To be fair, that's where the Stone of Agony would come to the rescue... if you had a Rumble Pak, that is. 10:47 I guess that the reward for 100 currently can only be the vanilla one then, right? 13:08 Big Christmas Carol vibes here, especially considering we're in Link's future. 15:28 He clearly ate the frog except for the heart and so gave Link that! Jokes aside, too bad he had such a "reward". 23:09 I like cashews as well, but unlike you I prefer them salted. I also quite like pistachio nuts, peanuts (even though it's been a while since I had them) and to a lesser extent walnuts and hazelnuts. 24:19 It really isn't fair considering that that guard and the Running Man can wear masks despite being adults.

2 g.skultulas that could have been gotten this episode: 1) from the hyrule field entrance, when giong across the plank, there is a gold skultula on the crack where water is coming from on the right. 2) in DC, in the room going towards the first lizalfols fight, with scarcrow's song, can hooksot up on a ledge. Possible pots there too. I know you most likely know about these already, I'm just stating the g.skultulas that could have been gotten this episode. I also don't know if you got the first one off camera, so if you did, please ignore that one.

tyler, i believe you can enter the shadow temple, go to the graveyard, hookshot the top of the fence, use din's fire on the torches, and u have hover boots so you can just enter from there

After seeing quite a few episodes, my opinion on the settings. I really like the silver rupee and the free standing rupee setting, but potsanity is a bit overkill imo. Sure, it adds more checks into the randomizer but also a lot more trash items, especially rupies and recovery hearts, which makes shopsanity almost obsolete and the free standing rupees are often randomized in even more rupees so not much changed here... Imo, a good challenging randomizer would be one where it shuffles the chests, the keys, the dungeons maps and compasses, the golden skultullas, the silver rupees and the free standing rupees along. Maybe along with shopsanity and dekusanity.

For whether reason, the adult trade items don't disappear. In the OoTMM one, they actually disappear after you trade them.

Good to know how to get the ladder skulltula can be defeated without projectiles! My favorited nut is the Brazil nut! It's kind of sad you don't see the family out after lifting the curse(s.) Least they're getting lots of exercise! This episode was a little rollercoaster, the ending made me spit my food out! LOL At least there were some items found, even if not a lot. Hang in there!

Im sure youve already found it since im about 4 episodes behind lol, but medigoron's room has a pot in it. Also in fire temple there is a hidden alcove with 3 pots in it in the room with the bridge and square platforms all around the lava. One of those platforms will rocket up out of the lava so you can jump into the hidden spot with the pots. Ima finish binge watching to catch up now lol. Good luck.

It’d be really funny if this whole entire time the one item you need to defeat the final battle with is in the tower, but is stuck between a check that won’t let you progress unless you have another item that’s behind a door that it’s required to get behind ofthen you’ll be technically and literally stuck

The randomizer program has logic in place to prevent seeds from being unbeatable. Sometimes things do slip through the cracks, but it's rare and usually ironed out before becoming part of the main branch.
