In a beam battle, I've found it's never a question of whose beam is stronger, but who can grunt the most.

Super inefficient play with some cool details that make him really strong... for a minute there, it sounded like PiG was casting a Dark game

At 12:12, you would hold the gun like that if you were left eye dominant, and left hand dominant, but your left hand was unusable, so you were shooting right hand unsupported while aiming with your left eye.

I'm also not a fan of colored beam fights in Harry Potter, but the one in HotS works I think because they made it into a mission-forming mechanic. It's more of a comprehensive visual for the progress bar that would otherwise have to be represented in abstract numbers

I haven't considered that mechanic and looks pretty good so you don't fall down on army supply in the late game

When I was young I used to enjoy grabbing an opponent and headbutting them mercilessly until they fell and I could barely stand or when someone would put me in a headlock I would grab them by the head and slam both of our faces into the ground or into the wall expecting the pain and delirium, I always recovered more quickly and was able to pounce on my target I think I love agile now

From what I can see in both starcraft games people are scared of losing their bank in the latergame. But in most situations you do not lose because you mine out, you lose because your army gets destroyed and you cant stop the push because you rebuild too slowly. So having more production structures and a bigger army for the important fight makes alot of sense. Obviously it depends on many factors, but I always wonder when pros float thousands of minerals yet they are not making more buildings to remax faster.

Oh yeah, if you morph a drone it removes its supply cost so technically you could have 200 supply of Zerg forces without losing drones sure it’ll cost a bit more to morph then cancel but in the end to have a 20-50 supply advantage it’s worth it

i wonder how much benefit it would be to have just built a raven and a few marines and just start sweeping creep

When it comes to beam battles like you were saying, I feel like the only show to use them effectively was Dragon Ball Z and even they used beam battles sparingly. The only two I can remember off the top of my head are the iconic Goku Kamehameha against Vegta's Galick Gun and then Cell and Teen Gohan with the Father Son Kamehameha. Those are the only good beam battles I can think of.

I have honestly wondered why I don't see pros doing that. After maxing and building some bank, just making mass spore/spine, remaxing on whatever composition you are on, and then cancelling the spore/spine so you can still have a huge eco. I get that it is a straight up resource loss, but I think the ability to have 80 drones AND 140 army supply is easily worth the loss from 20 canceled spore/spine.

How about you do a challenge where you tap into the REAL zerg supply cap by converting an SCV and building a command center
