So the COOLING sucks air from the front. HEATING sucks air from the top rear. Why in the product video shows an exhaust pipe of the heater outlet when it’s in a tent? If they’re cooling a tent it’s using the front, or are they heating the outside? Please put out a video explaining the exhaust system.

Hi, it depends on how you place the AC. If you put the AC inside the tent, and extend the rear dual-hose to the outside, the front part will cool the tent while the rear dual-hose will take in outside air to assist expelling heated air out. @@ZEROBREEZETech so its kind of a feature? Does it only operate when the ducting is attached to use the rear (heating) fan to take out the hot air until it reaches the set cooler temperature? When not attached the rear fan doesnt work and the cooling still operates as usual? Just trying to get my head around this as if be looking to put this in a motorhome.

So, it makes sense to suck in air in the front. Take in the air that you made cold and recirculate to make colder. Remember, you took time and energy to cool it, important to remember. Now, that compressor made cold air by pulling heat out of it that must exit the machine by a fan that blows across the heat exchanger. So, if it blowing air across the heat exchanger to get rid of it outside, where should the intake air for that hot side come from? Do you want to take and waste the cold air you just made? Or do you want to simply use ambient air from outside that you didn't cool? And, if you pull in that nice cold air from inside across the hot side to vent outside, then you create a vacuum inside the tent or RV. That vacuum will likely suck in outside air that is warm from tent seams, window zippers, etc thus diluting the cold air you just made.

@@lorneserpa5888 so how do you have this permanently installed venting out and be able to use the heater function?
