Both bands had the Best mellos section i've ever heard.. Both bands mellos were just ridiculous.

@Kpsi4aea the reason those tubas are that way was because those are brand new horns given to them by LLI...SU been needed new horns bad, and plus thats the best way to get the best sound out of a fiberglass, is with a brass bell

Its their arrangements. I remember when I was in high school and we had a small band but big sound but on certain songs we didnt sound as powerful due to the arrangement of the songs but we played it cleanly. SU arrangements always blend in with each other which is why they always sound like that, plus JSU tend to cut off their notes quicker than SU. Thats why SU use to have a problem with hanging over and and JSU has a problem with coming up short

I know its tradition for the jukebox to sit there but why not move the jukebox to the student section and let the students have where the jukebox sits so both bands can be across from each other? or su just move to the corner where the other band is? It can be done, I know Mr J got some pull he been up teaching there long enough...its probably a more money thing for those seats tho...not hating just curious about the deal...

@QuendariousR because look around... there are OBVIOUSLY more people who like SU. position the camera to get the best footage possible. Nobody goes to an SU vs _____, or _____ vs SU game to see whoever "______" to be's band. they go to see THE JUKEBOX

@playboykingd Jsu is not the best band in the SWAC (imo) dont get me wrong JSU is my favorite band but they are not as clean as SU nor as balanced. Plus SU arrangements are more complex and fuller while JSU arrangements are simplistic at times amd sometimes all they seem to do is blow. Even if the camera was at the 50 the outcome would have still beem the same.

man this was an epic first rounder......the first song SU played...the why the Btones chords blended was unbelievable hands the best the best thing I heard all my life....but oan JSU was just as loud as them cats (SU) if not loud...and WT was grooving so tuff...get two camera men one on each side of the field....thats how we do in the MEAC to make sure its an even battle...but best section was and song selection was SU and their Btones...but as far as the whole battle JSU.

What ever song SU played at 6:39..wow, Loved it...very articulant ....Tubas did a great job at seperating the triplets and when the band came in after the break .......CHILLS.....Very balanced...haven't herd this sound from the "S" in a long time....keep it up guys

When the game is in Jackson the Camera is set up within yards of JSU BAND. So why are you complaining about how the videos are shot in Baton Rouge. You are looking for excuses .
