Thank you very much for bringing up this athlete and that you thoroughly went in to the details. He is such an incredible athlete out there . So descent as a human bieng as well !
Interesting fact for every time he ran he never took a drop of water it was only in the Nike sub 2hr project he found out the body needs to be hydrated and he started drinking drinks in his marathon races
I remember hearing that from the breaking 2 project and pondering how anyone could even finish a marathon without taking nutrition. I hope he can get a really good marathon under his belt while he's still in good shape. I think his marathon potential is huge!
Thanks a lot for providing us analysis of the great athlet, Zersenay Tadese!! I really love him, respect him!! He has such a great performance, his great attitude too!! Hope we see him soon!! Much respect to Z.Tadese.!!!
Nathing evere repeat again this productions around the world, So I'm proud of you Zeresenay Tadese, You are my best in whole world athletics Championships specialy in 21.1km Or half of marathon race including with your bests 9 greatest World record,Thank you so much Zeresenay Tadese,i'm proud of you again.
Thank you for this well done presentation, and i am a huge fan of Zersenay Tadese, he deserve 10 on the running range, other than that, couldn't agree more, Thank you again.
He also pushed the pace in the heat of osaka 2007. No one ever came this close to beating bekele during his prime (he lost contact two times in the race). And 2009 was my favorite race ever. Just heroic. Btw he pushed bekele to a championship record that still stands today. Ps: please feature Derartu Tulu next :)
I love kipchoge but I also love attacking athletes he makes attacking moves that I like best about him he really adapted to marathon he attacked Ayala in 2019 Doha marathon and he lead from the top I like him I had never watched marathon before but when I saw him I started searching his previous videos
Fabulous runner. One of only 2 (I think) to win a world championship medal on the track, road and cross country in the one year! 2009, Paul Tergat being the other
His running style has been constantly analysed and compared to that of a side winder snake the way he twist his body of course what a unique runner truly a great
Zeresenay is an inspirational runner! I know him personal and his training ritual is the best! he is a strong Eritrean a great family man and a great person overall! everybody loves his personality as he is very down to earth and helps everyone he can! The best of the best! there's a saying in Eritrea 'You don't need a degree you need Zeresenay's running legs' lol
I think 5 gold medals as half marathon world champ deserves a 5 in the championship category. Running range deserves a 10 as well for the range of 5k to marathon
To get 10 in running range would be someone like Bekele or kipchoge as in 1500-Mara , those 2 have run 3.32, 3.33 respectively and also 7.25, 7.27 and significantly quicker in the Mar , 2.03.39 ,2.03.41 .. tadese 2.06 something
Not bad. I agree with most of what you said except for these few things: 1- His running form is one of the best ever. From the Nike Breaking2, he was way more efficient than Kipchoge. 2- You have to stop with the forefoot running being the best running style. Look at what happened to Galen Rupp and Jordan Hasay and their injuries this year. All the fastest runners in the world have a flat foot landing. 3- Personnel bests. He was great @ half marathon and 2nd-3rd best in 10k, but I wouldn't give him a 10 if I compare him to Bekele's achievements. I give him a 9. Other than that, I agree with you.
He runs like an old Soviet tank. He's about as efficient as someone dragging a dead horse .He is all circulatory strength. His heart must be the size of an ole soviet tank. The numbers speak for themselves -he's a great one.
Amazing vid on a legendary runner -- nice!! With you on the scoring except one tiny disagreement -- finishing kick category. To me 8 is too high -- given the vital importance of (for example) being able to close out 10k with a sub-55,he could not quite manage it. So 7 maybe? Again, it's a 92 vs your 93 so I'm being super picky!
I love Tadese he is my second favorite runner of all time, wilson kipsang is my favorite if you havent noticed. In road races, i know i dont have much of a kick, so i win by pushing the pace, and it works for me, but i am only running against ppl at my level, the slow level haha
