I love how Zeus openly tells Perseus that he visits his grandson in his dreams. Even with all his faults he still plays grandpa. Shame he never got to do it for real...
I really enjoy this scene because it shows that Zeus must have come to his son throughout the years to build a better relationship with his son. And I am glad that he said no to Zeus in this scene because later on if he had gone with him to the underworld, he would have been killed or captured by Hades or Ares. Thanks for uploading. ❤️💙
If all of their work becomes undone when they lose their power that would not just affect Tartaros. The Sun, the Moon, the Earth itself, emotions like love, the harvest, humanity itself...all of those things should vanish according to what Zeus said here. But somehow they don't. It's just the walls of Tartaros that are crumbling. It's just the biggest plothole. That's why I never liked the concept of this movies that the power of the Gods depended on men's prayer. I mean some of them are embodiments of forces of nature and they clearly existed and were quite powerful before they created humans (how else would they have been able to create them?) but now they depend on their prayer? Like how did they get around before humans existed? Makes no sense at all.
You couldn't be more, right. Honestly, when considering the origins of these pagan gods. I couldn't understand how they became powerful enough that they relied upon humanity as a source of power to continue to exist and keep their power?
It's simple, their creations get undone as they lose power, they don't just get all undone at once. Holding the walls of Tartarus up require massive amounts of power, when they started losing the required power, the walls started collapsing. But they still had enough power for the rest of their creation. Think of it as electricity, if you have 5 computers connected to a power source, and you decrease the power output, the last computer will shutdown, the others will continue to run. Not a plothole when you put some logic into it. I do agree with you about the prayers though, it just doesn't make any sense. All I can think of is that they were already losing their powers for some reason when they created humans, and they managed to save themselves by making prayers give them powers. That point would work with a decent storyline behind it.
Saying they are embodiment of forces is correct sort of, because Greek Myth Clearly states that the Gods that is the Olympic Pantheon were born. They are all incest siblings/married we literally know their parents who they usurped and took their power from and imprisoned who also took their parents power before them and did the same. They Olympus Gods are not really that Primordial unlike theirs "distant relatives" that live outside the "system" of Olympus. The Olympus Gods that are "current" are the ones that took over by force, maybe it dsnt make sense to have their power come from prayer but their creations dissapearing as they lose power makes sense.
Am I the only one who thinks the gods’ power and immortality being dependent on prayers from humans is cheap? They put their fate in other people’s hands.
@THE GODS I was talking about the Greek gods in the context of this film, I’m referring to the way the gods of ancient Greece were portrayed in this film and its predecessor.
@@montgomeryscott5657 The gods don't need prayer. This is a film trope aka plot device made created in order to make the protagonist gods vulnerable and thus interesting i.e. American Gods etc
2:05 It seems also smarter.. 😂🤣 🏳🎗🏴 That learning comes in small steps but makes sense. 🤕🤦🥋 Starts to make sense now..Ancient Aliens 🗿 Winter is coming. ⛄
Kratos is ps4 firstly you fuck and secondly he is actually from mythology. He is the deity of strength in greek mythology. The back story of him being a mortal was made up by santa monica to give him a more compelling story but kratos is a mythological figure.

Myth are the tip of the spear in each civilation you should already knew that or just don’t want to admit it.For example Hindu made India a great nation even with its problems like Ancient Greece teaching Roman Empire later and even later Byzantine empire.Muslims was an empire because of their beliefs, who are you to throw all those in a trash box? Most of the words you are using even democracy itself created from Greek myths you simply don’t want to admit it or haven’t search it.When Zeus gathered all gods and even the very small one compare to him he said that this is a counsil and all voices will be heard this is from a myth you so fast discredit counsil from the superior god means first step into democracy and no one knows from when this myth is the fact is that it’s way older than 2000bc.Respect every culture and you may learn many thinks.
@@randomguy56789 Nope, truth. Just because your level of education on these matters is below elementary, doesn't make what you say correct. You are ignorant about these things and have never studied the Bible in depth to know what you are talking about. You regurgitate some nonsense spouted by equally uneducated atheists and take it as truth.
