Star Citizen is an open development, crowd funded project from Cloud Imperium. Consisting of 2 games, Squadron 42 a single player, story driven campaign putting you in the middle of the Vanduul attacks as an up and coming UEE Navy pilot, and Star Citizen, a highly detailed
first person MMO set within a persistent universe where there are no limits. This includes, space, and ground aspects, massive spaceships with full interiors and interactions, a full dynamic economy which reacts to the players actions allowing for anything you can imagine.
It is all being built on the StarEngine (a modified version of Amazon's Lumberyard Engine).
Please bare in mind that this is heavily WIP and in an alpha state in which much of the foundational tech to make it a reality is still being developed. Both games do not have set release dates yet but you can play the alpha build for the PU MMO which makes consistent progress
with quarterly patch releases throughout the year.
I am an independent content creator and a fan of the game, I am not paid by Cloud Imperium however I do accept ships from them to giveaway to my community but this will by no means influence my opinion or what I say and believe about the project.

I did try Game Glass. It is pretty "Neat". In that it acts like an interactable MFD. Yet, sadly, for now it's a one way street. In that if you make a in game input that is also on GG. GG will loss track. For Example: Power triangle - If I'm using GG to adjust power to pump a bit more to shields. Then later use keyboard to reset power. SC can not tell GG the change so GG will still display a false display of power. GG is aware of this & is requesting some type "API" support input for two (2) way coms. Once SC allows that. GG will be an awesome addition to your play. So get it now cause once GG gets SC support input! 🤯

This was the same way I felt. I really enjoyed the immersion and details of being able to do everything GG does. Its a really great ad-on! I only stopped using it cause if I stored a ship or blew up all the buttons needed "reset" to be ready but that meant I had to push them all and it would send the keybind presses. If they have a reset state that didnt involve relaunching for the GG app that would be handy.

I am EVO, the MFDs are a great step forward. Lots to still do. I got into a hurricane, and it only had 2 of the 4 MFDs working in the turret. There were no weapon stats and ammo count that I could see. The MFDs are sharp

I don't think there's much difference. These were just their own UIs passing the shortcuts and reading back variables. So maybe some feedback might stop working... Or are you an active user? I only tried game glass a lil bit.

The 890 jump missions also don't work and the other NPC ship help. Missions.... And that new blockade missions also suck and nobody plays it

Have they fixed the party markers? How come nobody is talking about this? This is one of the most frustrating steps backwards in recent patches.

Party markers are part of the social systems and they need updating to work with Server Meshing. Likelihood is, they are working on doing this rather than a short term fix for then now.

From how I understand it. All MFDs are new. But there are only 4 specifically stylized MFDs for 4 brands, and the other brands all use a generic version of the new MFDs until their brands are completed.

@@furyiv yea I've heard that, seeing as it affects a large portion of the gameplay loops you think it would have been priority number 1. Trading, delivery missions, selling legal and illegal cargo, piracy are all affected because of those damn elevators but anyways give it another 6 months I'm sure they'll have it fixed by then lol sorry about ranting pal just get sick of the basic stuff not working while they focus on cosmetic things like new ships and MFD's kind starting to see why there were 900k players playing a years ago and sub 100k these last couple months

@@furyiv a dozen hotfixes and a .1 patch later the same bug thats been there since 3.24 PTU is still there. Pretty hard to believe they are working on it.

I am critical of the new MFDs, they are kinda "less" than the old ones. But the HUD? That genuinely is worse.. speed being so far off the center of the screen is bad. Worse is that many ships lost mfd screens, and again a loss is a loss.. Now i did see someone who really did up their character and who i dont like tatoos it was a stark improvement of visual options.. saw no zeus ingame. I don't know if owners had access but i saw to mention of it in evo or ingame chat.

Did they fix the hanger bug were you can't get to your hanger or call in ships at home location I think this is and would be the #1 fix before anything as of now I can't use any hangers on any of the plants and 2 stations one at hurston and other at microtech all the L station work for now so I'm living at hur L4 I can't even do hulling missions unless a friend is with me total game breaker so I guess this patch was a test for my account lol I'm going to try and brake all the stations now were I can't call in anywhere lol

Sadly the evo's don't do shit look at the state of play at the moment Cig should just release to ptu for first wave to test and expand from there, they all big themsleves up saying they work hard reporting finding problems etc don't see it myself the patches are sadly broken before during and after release's have been for a few patches now and then its down to the actual players during ptu and live to do the reporting and getting things fixed which i think we do very well.

Thats all under NDA. They cant actually tell you that until its off evo. Once its available Erkul and Spviewer will have it.

@@Nonsense-hg6mo I’m not too familiar with what is considered under NDA so forgive the ignorance. My understanding is that now after a recent change, EVO players are now able to talk about the tests and some features, but can’t go into specifics over technical items?

@@Nonsense-hg6mo The NDA is still a thing - but it is MUCH more relaxed than it was. Taking screenshots, videos or letting someone else log into your account is not permitted - but talking about the patch notes, the patches, the features, anything and everything you did in the evocati tests are now open for discussion, posting, streaming, whatever you want ...so sure somebody can absolutely give him the full stats of the Zeus. I would but I dont own 1 AND that ship hasnt arrived to the test server yet..we are still doing stability and the new MFD's, character creator additions and the caves ..Once the Zeus comes into game - ill post back here with the stats if i hitch a ride/flight test with somebody who owns one
