A Sandworm, like the one in New World!! Speaking of Multi-Tool improvements.....rebindable cargo rotation instead of just R.... Boost speed lowered? What, to be in line with slowing down MM.... That is not, improving the flight model.......
Here's a rare thought that I hardly hear from anybody. The only thing you can do in this game is work right now. Yes, the option to work and grind is fine, but I honestly can't wait until we're able to run action/ adventurous missions. We need epic and climatic missions 🙏. I know SQ42 will have all of this, but running missions with Friends/ Randoms in SC will drastically improve the game.
I can't wait to see more fauna added. I suspect that the lore will be reconnected so that the sand worms can appear almost anywhere with sand. Otherwise, by the time Leir III system is out, my son might be graduating college (he is a fetus, due next month).
@@festersmith8352 I like MM, I do more ship combat more since it is more in your face flying instead of high speed jousting. It will be great when Quantum boosting comes in and you will be able to jump anywhere, the PvPers are going to hate that. It will be much easier to run.
Ngl the only thing I'm looking forward to or that I'm excited about for 3.24.2 is the Zeus MK2 CL as when that's released I'm upgrading my cutter ship to that when the Zeus MK2 CL is on the upgrade bit of the pledge store so yeah
There are 2 Apps out available so far, one is Game Glass (GG), the other is Game Touch Controller (GTC). I use GTC and it works great. It is 2.99 USD, and works on android, iOS, Fire tablets and windows. Both use a touch screen format that mimics the key binds in game. GTC is very easy to use, and GG looks that way. The nice thing about GTC is that it runs through your wireless router so it has a quicker response compared to than GG, which is cloud based. GTC works well on even old phones or tablets. I'm using 2 tablets, one is an 8 year old Samsung tablet and the other one is a couple of years old. You can also find older, used or refurb Fire tablets for pretty cheap, 20-30 USD, it hear they work well on GTC. I've never have tried GG so I can't comment much on it, but people seem to like it. GTC is 2.99 and pay once you don't have to pay anymore for extra features unlike GG.
I'm both happy as well as annoyed each time they add a new exploration ship, what with exploration being my favorite gameplay but still 99% of it missing.
There are a lot of people that really like master modes, I being one of them. A lot of people on the forums are spamming how much they hate it a lot of us that like it don’t go to the forms because they’re extremely toxic.
There will always be both sides of the argument, if you want close combat which CR has favoured in the past and even in games like DCS it will slow it down, I think they need to improve it to add some skill but it’s better than one person being able to take on 7 or 8 others. I also disagree in the old model where a light fighter could take on a medium ship like the Corsair or even bigger - bigger ships should be almost invulnerable the small or medium fighters unless carrying some mega ordinance
Imo they should push out any MM changes as quickly as possible. It's alread a highly controversial feature and now even CR is messing with it... leaving it largely unchanged for extended periods of time is a very bad idea and only serves to anger a large chunk of the community even more.
They have so much more to create yet that will impact MM, any changes now will likely have to be changed again, or reverted. So build a strong versatile foundation, then make changes when much more of the details come on line.
@@festersmith8352 like what? They are already simulating armor in the upcoming 4.0 and are introducing engineering too and those 2 things don't even affect it directly... so what exactly would impact MM so much that it makes withholding iterative changes worthwhile? All of the important features of MM that define flight behavior like acceleration, velocity, maneuverabililty, etc work independently from any of the upcoming gameplay systems and features so they absolutely should be tested as much as and as soon as possible.
@@justalex4214 Quantum Boosting will be a big change, where you can jump anywhere with out a mission, city or location marker, they will be adding control surfaces and other features.
I just thought I would add something for context here because I see people mention this constantly that StarCitizen has cost 700 million dollars to make. That's not true, they have raised that much money, does not mean they have spent that much. Also for context, the huge failure of Concord from Sony cost 400 million and it was a complete flop to just give some context on how much it costs to make games and most games are doing ALOT less than StarCitizen, and they take very low to no risks.
The most exciting news of the last month is that 3.24.2 is actually on the 4.0 branch. This is HUGE news and greatly increases the chance that we’ll see 4.0 go into PTU shortly after CitizenCon. Surely the Tech Preview SM build will be on the 3.23 branch, but that should change once 3.23.2 goes to Live. At THAT point, if they do a SM test it will be on the 4.0 branch and if that goes well, a 4.0 release to Live will come quickly (maybe not with every feature, but with basic SM and Pyro and working jump points.
3.24.2 was suppose to come out to the P.U. on Friday the 27th of September. He's hoping it will come out on the 4th of October. 4.0 will come out to the P.U. on the 15th of January, 2025.
Things are getting exciting! I appreciate your journalist style attitude and positivity. A lot of content creators are jumping on the negative side of things and I don't get that here.
I love your videos, you have a great voice always clear concise, thanks for your videos and info S.M.B, will you be going live tonight to show us the 2000 test?
Message of the day 8 minutes ago 🎃(Óðinsdagr) TECH-PREVIEW Day! We have a build all set with loads of new RMQ and Meshing updates and fixes for a potential 24 hour test starting in about 4 hours. Let's push the limits!
yogi is a bitch...honestly wtf a ww2 fighter sim in space will soon be a ww1 and then when 1.0 launches we will all have the speed of hot air balloons lol joke of a team
Tbh I could care less about 2.24.2. I just want 4.0. What’s another 3 months. Just keep working on the game. It’s a far cry from where it needs to be. In addition to this Master modes and the current ship tuning is hot garbage. I’ll wait till yogi finishes.
I'm waiting for 1.0. And if server meshing doesn't work soon with at least 1000ppl it won't work at all. Server cost could kill any hope for this to be a mmo unless we agree to go subscription.
Chris being directly involved with masterminds tuning fills me with trepidation and not confidence as I think he is still behind the curve in modern players reaction speed, familiarity with games of all genres and what players expect. They don't want SNES stardom combat. If the game gets any slower you'll need to bot it to get anywhere or do anything.
Tbf a large portion of the backers don't have the best reaction speed anymore either given the average age of the SC community, lol. But yeah, the problem is that eventually he calls the shots and the devs have to do what he wants, not what the community wants, which can be very detrimental to the game... but it is what it is.
Probably not. A lot of problems will only be obvious If on life-server - if I understood it right. So it will always be somewhat unstable, the bigger the implementation the more so. Hence all those .1 and .2 Updates. But in a couple years every major core Implementation should be in, then it should transit smoother from one patch to another.
my guess is 4.0 being pyro and stanton is going to be a massive patch like double what it is now which is currently 106gb. pyro is twice the size of stanton and will be more detailed as its newer tech. Plus SM which is still not perfected yet which is going to be buggy for awhile even after 4.0 drops to live.
@@NotUnymous sure it’s going to be rough on Live launch, but if they’ve refactored a bunch of legacy code to integrate new systems it should be more stable in the long run.
sandworm coding has been found in the game files of the latest patch as its build on 4.0 patch with out all the pyro extras added. referencing 3 types of worms, juvenile, adult, and apex. and its been rumored sandworms coming to stanton daymar, and monox in pyro. Also stormwal, a fish species and boids are coming soon.
