Zhiyun Molus G60 vs Godox SL60W... which one is better?

The Zhiyun Molus G60 and the Godox SL60W are both 60 watt lights but are vastly different from one another. The G60 is one of the smallest COB lights I have ever seen and in almost every aspect better than the Godox SL60W.

I've heard it runs hot, it's noisy, the Bowens mount costs extra and it doesn't fit as securely as lights with full size Bowen's mounts. The soft box is cute but really is laughably small and also costs extra (like the full size Bowen's mount). The light projects a very bright hot spot from the reflector (not even lighting), and would create a hot spot in a normal size soft box too--making it less useful. Yes, it is very tiny and very portable, but there are a lot of compromises for the price. Portability is great but for the price, competitors in the same class probably are better.

It’s good. I own one. It gets a little hot, but overall good. I’ve ran it for about 2 hours straight with no issues.

Zhiyun for travel and Godox for everything else. The hotspot of the G60 is pretty bad.

⁠in the wall test you can see the hot spot (middle) is "hot" compared to rest of the spread of light. It's normal with COB lights but the g60 looks pretty bad IMO.
