I really enjoy your videos. I did the diamond twill pattern a few days ago, enjoyed that one as well. I've only been weaving a short time but find it very rewarding. Looking forward to working on this today.
I would love if you would do a video on how you go about converting weaving drafts to rigid heddle looms and choosing the correct threading and pattern sequence. 😊
Learned to weave on floor looms almost 30 years ago. Dec of 18 was gifted with a RH loom and love it. Twill's are my fav pattern to weave, have been trying to wrap my head around converting patterns from a 4 harness floor loom to a RH loom. Your threading diagram and weaving sequence really help but would like to learn how to convert different patterns to RH. So when converting patterns over, how do you view the process? Eyes would be like the 1st harness on floor loom, slots second, 2nd heddle eyes for 3rd harness then slots for 4th? How do you decide sequence for weaving? Warped for twill but end result was a neat pattern but definitely not twill. So not sure what I did incorrectly? It has to be easier than my mind is making it. Hahaha
Wow! This is awesome. I weave on a basic lap loom and a loom I made for my wall. I am super new to the world of this type of loom- will you ever be venturing into creating a “basics” video or learning course? 😊
Hi there, thank you very much for your videos. I have my loom set up for the diamond twill. your instructions are really clear and well explained. Now I wonder, how I would move the heddles, if I wanted to inter space the pattern with a stripe of tabby weave. Is that even possible with this threading?
Thank you :) So you want a plain weave? If so I believe you would just hold both the holds and move them in the up position (weave ) and then down position (weave). Hope this helps.
What kind of looming you use , I am very beginner and liked this kind which has two riddles in the middile ( I hope I mentioned them Correctly ) I mean thise 2 like Combs in the middle , thank you
Hi there, thanks so much for this. Can you post the link to the previous video where you show the threading sequence? I did your diamond twill and it was fabulous. Thank you so much
Do i see right? Is the threading and the sequence of the rows identical, as with diamond twill pattern? How then do two different patterns arise?Or did I not notice any difference?
