I think it's important to remember that this was still pretty early on in his career, and only his 3rd cap for the Les Bleus, so his game wasn't quite refined as it'd go on to be. However, it's already heir apparent that he'd go on to be a top notch playmaker, as you can see the brilliant vision and the trademark ball control and dribbling that'd make him a phenomenal player. He'd go on to hone his decision making as his career progressed of course, but it is an interesting peek into his development as a budding player for France, nonetheless.
