Zoe Veasey '24 graduated from Columbia College Chicago May 11, 2024 and gave the student address at her ceremony.
Zoe graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology. Her passion for music, science, and mathematics brought her from Rock Island, Illinois, to Columbia, where she dedicated herself to her studies to earn a spot in the Honors Program and on the Dean’s List each semester. Outside of the classroom, Zoe served as the President of Women in Audio, the Audio Arts and Acoustics Senator in the Student Government Association, a Math and Audio peer tutor, a Resident Assistant, and an audio classroom assistant. Zoe also spent her summers interning at the Adler Theatre and JoyRide Studio. After graduation, Zoe hopes to continue to advocate for underrepresented voices to make the audio industry more inclusive to diverse perspectives.
