Zog Nit Keyn Mol (Never Say) - Yiddish Partisan Song

Song made by Hirsch Glick in Vilno Ghetto in 1942. Original melody belongs to the Soviet folk "То не тучи - грозовые облака", which became an anthem of the Vilno partisans. After the war it has been translated into many languages and is being performed on some concerts to this day.
This arrangement is very rare and, unfortunately, it consists only of 3/5 stanzas, but I hope you like it anyway!

Yiddish seems more consistent with the fighters of Warsaw though.

Putting a swastika there on the Jewish partisans song doesn't seem quite right

@@deucedwayne That would have been only a bit more atrocious than putting colors of jewish flag on an outline of an administrative division of nazi occupation forces. GG did not exist in history outside the third reich, it was neither a free state nor a rump state. Would you include the outlines of Reichskommisariaten Ost or Ukraine in your videos as well? ;D

@@ford_van_toch7589 please get acquainted with the Warsaw Uprising, probably, one of the most important parts of the Jewish partisanship's history. Even though the song was written in the Vilnius ghetto, this map doesn't do any worse job. Also, yes. I would include them if it will be needed. Not because I am eager to mock the Jewish off or something, but because this map has the flag of those who operated there and done the considerable influence.

@@deucedwayne You're missing my point. I know about the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. That's how I found this video in the first place - today's the anniversary and I browsed YT for this song specifically. What I mean is that the video gives a false impression that GG was just a country like the others included in your videos. It wasn't, it was a product of German nazi war administration. Why would you put Israeli colours on that sort of thing?

im pretty sure our jewish ancestors (partisans and fighters for freedom) would be against genocide and isreali apartheid. why would you support an ethno-state when you are a decendant of those who were suffering from an ethno-state?

@@anarchaqueerswillsavetheworld Lol. The Gaza health ministry, which is controlled by Hamas, doesn't really distinguish between Hamas terrorists killed and civilian casualties. The total number of Hamas terrorists reported killed is pretty much in line with the overall death toll they announce

@@anarchaqueerswillsavetheworld A- the war isn't a genocide B- Israel is not an apartheid state, especially compared to places like Saudi Arabia which ban non Muslims from entering Mecca. C- Most countries in the world are ethnostates, and that's not a problem. The problem starts when they declare some BS about supremacy and start killing only innocents in gas chambers. D- they would support Israel, and they did. Moving to Israel was hard, but tens of thousands did before the Holocaust.

@@anarchaqueerswillsavetheworld Factually wrong, many Partisans and Holocaust survivors were part of the Jewish Yishuv and helped establish Israel. Most notably Abba Kovner which fought in Vilna Ghetto as the leader of the FPO/Nakam, and later enlisted with the rest of his group into the IDF and helped resist the Jihadist Arab invasion.

@@Hebrew_and_Yiddish_songs a state is not a replacement for torah. Genocide is not a Jewish value, even if it is an Israeli one.
