One of the best lines in this move is an injured character saying to another, "I'm feeling kinda thirsty" ... "FOR YOUR BLOOD!" and then grabbing them. The movie is genuinely worth watching for all the stupid shit that happens. It's actually well paced, surprisingly.

A zombie franchise linked together by a super chill DJ monitoring the situation and giving advice to survivors would be pretty interesting. At least it would be more watchable than the usual zombie movie.

Fulci was a Master. He did a lot of movies that were absolutely NOT b-movies... a very very skilled director indeed. He was one of the greatest horror directors in Italy, one of the 3 best IMHO, and one of the greatest action director. Some of the best italian action films of the '70 and '80 came from Fucli. Mattei and Fragasso were more "B-ish" (IMHO), but they did "regular" movies too . Probably my opinions are biased, but for me it's quite difficult to see Fulci as a b-movie director.... sure, he partecipated in some "very-cheap movies", among the 56 he directed, and he was a mester in ccutting down costs, while retaining the effectiveness, but a b-movie director.... I don't think it's fair.

It's D'Amato, not Demato.... Joe D'amato, "nom de plume" of Aristide Massaccesi. BTW I really don't see many connections between D'Amato and Argento. The first Argento's movie "L'uccello dalle piume di cristallo", was a semi-low budget film, but it wasn't a B-movie (it wasn't very low budget, or bad, or minor). The other ones were normal productions, surely not b-movies at all. Joe D'Amato did a lot of low budget films, sexy comedies, soft porn, horror, and so on, so we can say that he was also a B-movie director. Fulci, as I already wrote in the last answer, was a great director, who made a lot of different things, inluding very low budget movies, but not only very low-budget movies. It was better than D'Amato and for certain aspects even better than Argento (more polyhedric for sure).
Hey, just cause a project is called "Death 1" doesn't mean it's bad. I remember when I worked on project "Murder 54" it was an experiment where we were trying to cure ball warts. Sure we ended up creating murderous toad-human hybrids; but sometimes that's just how science works.

I don't know what is goofier; the zombie head that somehow managed to propel itself out of a fridge or the super speed zombies with the machetes. Probably the flying head.

14:34: Well Cemetery Man had one, and that was a good movie. So Zombi 3 just figured that ripping off another, much better made zombie flick would help it out. I mean it worked (sort of) for the first in the series.
The ending to this review left me with so many questions. How did the DJ get infected? How was he able to control himself despite turning into a zombie? Why was he dedicating a song to the other zombies? What music do zombies listen to? Do they listen to hip hop? Do they listen to thrash metal? Do they listen to country? What's their political system like? This makes as much sense as trying to make an empire state building with wet tissue paper!
Could have become airborne. Several zombies seemed to have maintained some reasoning powers. Because he was a zombie. Death metal, Leonard Cohen, once described as dead yet still alive. No hip hop due to lack of moving skills and the ability to form fluent rhymes. It's a zombie movie that is cheaply made so who cares about logic although this is one of the worst zombie flicks ever made.

Obviously the Snob as never been to Southern California. Where this movie takes place, cause apparently this is exactly how it is in Santa Monica. Though our abandoned resorts are not so nice.
I found it to be a fun movie. Dissapointing it wasn't a direct sequel to zombi 2. Yeah, it reminded me alot of Hell of the living dead. I wanted a full cityscape sequel set months after zombi 2.

The first "Zombi" was popular, so a bunch of knock-off movies just called themselves "Zombi #" as a way to cash in on its popularity. I don't know if the original movies were called "Zombi #," or if certain film distributors just decided to change their titles so people in their markets would say "Oh, I liked the first Zombi. Let's watch this."

As a gas mask buff I can tell you two things 1. The mask the hazmat soldiers are wearing the ABC m17 gas mask. 2. The voice emitters on the masks are more effective than shown in the movie

Well they really capture the diseased aspect in Italy horror, you're going to catch something from those zombies. Was there some kind of law against consistency in Italy because there never seems to be any in most of their horror films? Or was the law against making actual sequels because sometimes they have the same key actors again but don't follow up the story?
Dude, iZombie is really, really good. It's not "Warm Bodies" by any stretch of the imagination; it's a really smart science-fiction drama, with excellent performances, fantastic writing, and I really gripping, suspenseful storyline. It's definitely not "Watch this because zombies are popular and this chick is hot"; it's a legit show.
i would love to make a true sequel to Zombi 2 that continues the city invasion, with the end of zombi 2 of the bridge, and really dwell more into the two characters on boat going back to nyc.

IZombie to be fair is actually a pretty fun show, and can get pretty violent and gross. Its just a different take on the whole concept, which doesn't always work but does for the most part there. Helps that its based on a good comic book and was adapted by talented people...
Okay, how was this a follow up to "Zombie"? Where "Zombie" was sort of an Italian version of "Night of the Living Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead" combined, but this "sequel" looks like an Italian version of "The Return of the Living Dead". But it looks like a fun bad movie. Seeing the Zombies jump, stealth attack, use kung-fu is just hilarious. The scene where a zombie pushes a girl into the contaminated pool made me laugh hard. I can't believe an undead guy would stoop to such a childish method. I've got to check out this movie. Great episode Brad.
