@@Liniyka Oh my than you are lucky! I'm glad you never played the game because that was the biggest mistake I've done. Imagine a Community on par to league of Legends for toxicity and devs as good as balance as those of War Thunder who just looks at numbers. The Balance is even far worse I'd say because atleast in War Thunder if someone is using a broken plane, you can use a broken plane of your own but Dead By Daylight is Asymetrical which means if someone has a broken tactic, you are straight up fucked, sure there used to be time where broken tactic vs broken tactic was a thing but the devs nerfed one side and left the other side alone. Now the breaking point for me was just the community, and the fact the game is unbalanced to hell made it worse because if you aren't playing with the top tier perks, characters and items, you are just going to get bullied, you can't do anything about it, hell if you leave you get punished for that.

One time me and my buddies had match where the lobby ended in 1.5 mins bc enemies had 9 wyverns in the team, we didnt even manage to climb into the middle of the map...
This had to be long time ago cause rn you can't have more than 4 attackers in the team (same goes for bombers). 4 Wyverns is enough to win the match by denying enemy team any climb opportunity still
The french TT is a perfect example of the whole algorythm balancing thing. Just look at all the autoloading tanks and their constant moves up of BR. and they even used to have insanely high repair costs.
It doesn't help that Gaijin also seems to completely forget about the existence of some aircraft they have in their tech trees. Key example of this being the most recent separation of battle ratings for certain planes in Ground RB compared to Air RB. The devs had to be reminded that the F104J exists, which had me laughing.
I should have mentioned it in the vid, but yes - if a plane doesn't get used, Gaijin never bothers to adjust its BR, which leads to even more zombie planes

Something to help with bad zombie planes could be passive BR decrease. Every BR cycle or maybe once every two or three months, pick several of the least used vehicles at random and drop their br by one step. If one vehicle begins to wildly overperform, have its BR moved up by one step every week until it stabilizes. This will give all underused planes time in the spotlight over time, and the devs free up some of the energy going to buffing underpowered vehicles. This is obviously not a perfect solution, since this could cause long term BR dropping thanks to top tier compression but it’s a huge help
That would be pretty cool, yes. Unfortunately it's Gaijin we're talking about, so if nobody uses the vehicle = no data for the algorithm = no BR change
I heard from a Gaijin mod the reason why is very simple...when it was 5.0 it killed sales of the Ju288 and the 288 is one of the biggest money makers in the game by a HUGE margin. He said they sell a dozen 288s for every wyvern and that number increases during events so no matter how bad the Wyvern stomps it will never go above 4.7 because it will hurt their cash cow.
Mmmm short term profits over long term innovation... where have I heard that before... If I was in charge, I'd make it so all planes can be unlocked via TT or purchased with GE, and make it so premium bonuses can be unlocked separately with GE, similar to how talismans work. That way it would keep Gaijin's interests in line with the players, making all vehicles fun to play and having good balance.
@@Oookkaa Actually the blame for this lies 100% on the community, not only for the 288 but because they demanded the counter to the Wyvern be removed by wishing on the monkey's paw...the Thunderbolt airspawn. You see once upon a time ALL Thunderbolts had an airspawn, from the lowly D25 all the way up to the P47-M but since the WT community is a bunch of big crybabies they went "Waah Hitlerbolt too OP nerf it waah" despite the fact that the Stalinbolt, USA Thunderbolt, the P38 and the XP50 were ALL hard counters to the Hitlerbolt. Hell I used to smack down Hitlerbolts all day in a fricking Boomerang. But you NEVER say nerf in front of Gaijin as that activates the monkey's paw so the result was Gaijin going "Nerf Thunderbolt? Okay ALL Thunderbolts are nerfed!" which promptly obliterated the Americans as they needed the Thunderbolt airspawn while the Hitlerbolt could just sideclimb under the 109 swarms and be fine. But before the monkey's paw the Thunderbolts hard countered fast bois like wyvern as well as space climbers like OP50 and Ta154 because a wound-up Thunderbolt in a dive could easily catch Wyvern and with its airspawn could climb well enough to meet space climbers at their own alt. But the community had to be whiney little wimps and now they get what they deserve for crying and bitching.
Gonna add Ki-94 and Ki-87 to the list. Kinda the same issue with J7W1: nice-looking planes with good guns and high-altitude performance and nothing really else to mention, sitting on BR for super pistons and early jets. Actually, Japan is a nation that consistently gets "zombiefied" by Gaijin, probably because of high average skill of jap mainers. Just look at BR changes for A6M5 and J6K1. Also, need to mention Lansen. And A-32. And G.91 YS. And so on.
Lansens are just competent cause of the good players, nothing exceptional and it faces 104s every Match as a swedish Main i think the lansen is kinda bad but the j29F sitting in 9.0 just cause it has wep and 2 aim9bs makes no sense
I agree with the Ki-87, no sane player will play that thing. But to me the Ki-83 is kinda like the XP-50 of 6.0 with its insane climb rate and airspawn at least before the engine overheats.
@@Ren23114 J32 is my third most played plane if I correctly recall and I havr a 3:1 kdr on it. Higher than most othet things I fly. It's actually extremely good as it can stick dogfights with mig 19s if they don't play it right. Overall the J32 is a more comfortable subsonic mig19 with more missiles and guns.
Another incredibly sad tale is that of the Vampires, they used to sit confortably at 7.0, arguably some of the best. Now they're 8.0 and completely unusable.
The J7W1 has 3 good things. 1: It's good at dives both shallow and not. Of course, the 4 30mm's are beneficial and the acceleration is fine however that said. It is still currently missing a certain portion of its historical speed, as well as 2 extra propellers. Since irl it had 6.
The J7W1 was also designed specifically to be a bomber interceptor, so if you ask me, it should get an interceptor spawn. I think that would help to fix it somewhat, but then again, that's putting a band-aid on a 3rd degree burn.

There are J7W1 reports from 2015 which havent been implemented. Minimum and maximum speed is wrong, flaps are not working correctly, elevator is not working as it should. Its missing 200hp
They don’t balance the vehicles by performance, they balance it so that players don’t get more out of a vehicle then they should. It’s just Gaijin wanting players to spent money on the game instead of earning enough SL and RP. If players spent a lot of money on a vehicle, it magically becomes immune to the algorithm. It’s basically just P2W 🙃
I love encountering wyverns in my P-63. They can't run away. All they can see is me ominously creeping towards them. They have two choices - either wait for me to catch up with them or turn and fight me. Being attackers, I get them when they're relatively low. They can dive away for only so long before they hit the ground. And because so many people are bad at wyvern, I always get to kill them. It's not easy but I don't really remember getting killed by wiverns.
The standard a6m5 used to be 4.0. Then it went to 4.3, then 4.7, and now it's 5.0. It's completely outclassed in all but 1 metric. However, it fights America a lot. The player base that is so bad they dropped the f4u-4b from 6.3 down to 5.7
Yeah, which is sad, before I had Moffet, it was my all-go money-maker plane, it's not a ridiculous OP plane, in fact, its a very delicate and slow plane that you need to plan ahead before going into a strike, also keep your awareness on all direction even while dogfighting, and even then you'll have cold sweat if you find an actual player with a brain cell that knows BnZ exist. The problem was, that it used to fight the US team a lot of times,, and as Liniyka said, they had lots of bad players in it, back then, almost every us player went ground-pounding and then got mad as Zero easily swooped in for the kill.
Another issue with the algorithm is that it only kicks in for vehicles that are actually played. There are numerous vehicles in the minor tech trees that used to be competitive, but they got power creeped, so they’re now overtiered and unplayed. And because no one plays them, they stay at their old BRs, where they’re uncompetitive, so no one plays them and so on. As you say, the algorithm rewards the bad players, by buffing their vehicles, while punishing anyone who dares to actually play a vehicle effectively. The EBR 1954 is a good example of this. It was ludicrously under tiered on release as an event reward, but because you had to be competent to get it, only good players took it out, which ruined the game for months as teams of EBR players absolutely dominated. Then the algorithm kicked in due to the winrates, and it’s had numerous nerfs and BR increases to the point where it’s no longer competitive, and no one plays it (see above).
People say f-104 is broken because its the only USA jet that matches other countries performance. F-15 is 12.3 because of the terrible missiles, I can dodge 15 aim-9m and aim-7 but as soon as a r-27 comes out I die instantly. USA players are "so bad" because they dont take a 12 hour course on dodging r-27, When all it takes to dodge USA missiles is to turn and press flare key. USA players are "bad" because it takes so much more skill to play against other countries with better armament. If you swap USA players to USSR and vice versa people would still say USA is garbage.

honestly i dont blame them, the wyvern is super op, super low in br, can one rush like hell to a base, one shot it, and then be capable of 1v1 and getting more kills after that, its really good and cheap + plus its conveniently put in a rank where you can grind with it untill you get low tier jets
The P-47D-25 and -28 once went all the way down to 2.7 in arcade air. The hordes of idiots using their Thunderbolts to dogfight zeroes and spits drove the BR down and down and down. Meanwhile, I was laughing while playing a plane that was literally 200 kph faster than any plane they could meet, outclimb them as well, and the 50 cals would tear planes at that BR to shreds, even before the introduction of the M20 flamethrowers. The BR algo is indeed the most retarded thing Gaijin has ever made.
He-100 is a wild card plane If a newbie tries to turn in it, it becomes easy prey (I'm not even a good player and was able to 1v2 a squad of them that tried to dogfight me after a head on merge and won, with me using the two-gunned I-16) But a *good* player will turn it into death, destroyer of worlds, I remember when I was a beginner in arcade and a guy in a He-100 screwed my *entire team* by going from head on to head on at full speed And yeah, I hate P-39s with a passion, it's just hellish trying to face them with planes like low tier italian or japanese fighters
I absolutely despise headon forcers. Nobody fights properly anymore. Headon force - either die or run. Nobody takes a proper dogfight anymore. Horrible.
People still believe in muh "algorithm" excuse? It would be great to see the plane statistics and how "algorithm's" choses br changes and how they affect statistical performance. But one thing we are never shown is those statistics, so de facto, "algorithm" is whatever gaijin wants it to be.

As a Japanese main, i feel the effects of this so hard, i mean i still get ace games in my f-104j from time to gime, but that plane should never face mig 29s and f-16s, and hey, they did in fact rase the top br so that no longer happened, but it should have never happened in the first place
Correction, XP-50 has been nerfed drastically. They took away their WEP which essentially halved the climb rate. Considering the ammo other American planes have on display, the XP-50 is short breathed. They also introduced that nerf at a time where maps with airspawns for all planes like Norway were common. So the nerf was uncalled for as the airspawn did not give them an advantage anyways. In my opinion, they should have raised the BR and not take away features the plane was known and promoted for. The power to weight ratio was THE biggest selling point and the reason this prototype was made in the first place. Taking away the power just turns it into a nice-to-look-at plane without significant identifiers other than it's shape. Same issue with the XA-38 Grizzly. It was promoted as having immense power having two B-29 engines on a striker airframe, but they nerfed the power turning it into the same unflyable brick as the Hs-129 Ente compared. If introducing such castrations instead of refining the overall balancing and game mechanic, they should not introduce those planes in the first place! But that's Gaijin to you. Add premiums, nerf the biggest selling points and promote the next premium with similar selling points.
@@Liniyka Geez... It has been 6 years. I still play WT but I haven't been at that BR in a while. The XP-50 became boring/ordinary as they took away it's signature climb rate. I can understand how it is performing well again as most other things have been uptiered around it. But I still miss this helicopter being a helicopter. In my opinion, nerfing something at it's signature is inherently dumb. It's like taking away the afterburner from the first jet with afterburner or taking away the AP belts from the Pulkzerstörer. When doing so, it does not justify selling that premium in the first place and any other nerfs should be considered first, even if it's a cheap one as raising it's BR.
I honestly wish they could just ban planes from the game altogether. I think 2000 vehicles is enough for the game and it needs to go down. Take away planes from the game and compensate players with golden eagles and premium time. Also remove jets. I hate jets just as much as I hate missiles. No im not mad that im forever stuck on my I-225. I hate jets, even the ME-262. War Thunder was supposed to be about WWII vehicles only, not about modern vehicles. I wish I could go back to the good old days.
J7W1 Flight model is garbage, the flaps do not work. The canard is modelled wrong, it's sad. Not gonna say the design has the advantage as the sum of pros and cons. The configuration is kind of a desperation to come up with a thing that would turn the tide of the war, because they stopped being competitive long ago in traditional designs. It's just that the flight model of J7W1 in this game is bad. Especially the rudder, the rudders are too far away from the center of the gravity in fm. Also the yaw stability is unrealistically high for the shape. The pitch stability is artificially increased. The flaps won't produce higher lift, and the canard doesn't have the 2 layered fowler flap sync'd with the main wing flaps. Truly sad.
Looking at the way you play Wyvern fills me with anxiety, I know you are nit picking the gameplay where your enemy failed to simply outturn it. But dam, going 100kph dogfight in that thing is not the most efficient way to stay safe from enemy gunfires. The Wyvern is strong and fearsome because of its speed, if you don't die playing like that, it's just luck or the aim.
The J7W1 is my favorite plane and it really hurts me to see it's state in the game. I firmly believe it doesn't need a downtier but instead a TLC as a lot of it's poor performance has to do with realism issues. Besides being misclassified as a fighter instead of an interceptor that'd give it a much needed air spawn, the shinden also has broken flaps (they lower positive pitch and increase negative pitch speed) and elevators that are modeled incorrectly (they should be fowler flap style during positive pitch and should thus provide a lot more lift. It retains speed too poorly even in a straight line, though i don't know if it is an aerodynamic or engine power issue. In real life it also had cannons that could be fired in pairs to save ammo (i believe we should be allowed to fire them separately like with heavy and light weapons on other planes). I think it's BR is okay as is, Japan really could make use with the shinden as a superprop since it currently only has the ki-84s and nothing else, so i am just hoping this beautiful plane finally gets some of these fixes after all these years of negligence.
Can we start a movement, a WT community wide movement to take a jet of some sort, and be purposely bad in it that it will make the algorithm bump its BR down, and we keep doing it until its at a senselessly low BR, that no jet should be at? We know how their algorithm works, why don't we just band together and bump planes BR's down? Who cares about scores and kills, this system is bad and we need to show them its bad.
There are a ton of video on why video game devs should not just develop their games based on the pros opinions. The pros make up like 1% of the community and the masses are the rest. Gamin already asks content creators about what they want done for the game.

Oh boy here we go again... The problem with the wyvern isnt the plane... Its the players. "Planes that shouldnt be alive" Like shackleton gunships? That entire phrase is dumb and makes me think more of the planes that were "dead" but still flying around perfectly find back in the day like when the T2 released. The wyvern is fast. Has a lot of ammo. And ether good or bad guns depending on the day of the week.... Anyone with half a braincell knows you just turn with it because its a brick. 98% of the clips you showed was ACTUAL zombie players taking headons. With about 2% of people turning quite badly. The vast majority of WT players just use its speed to run and play passive. Those that dont take a head on. Someone else takes that head on. And one or two fools get removed from the gene pool. Yes. The wyvern probably is too low. But putting it up or down does not fix the underlying issue of dumb as brick lemming players. And saying "Its the algorithms fault" just shifts blame away from them. XP 50 is a better argument. Very fast. Very well armed. AND CAN ACTUALLY TURN. The players also have at last that half a braincell most of the time because they at least know to fight you and dont passively run quite as much. 104 is another perfect example of the player being the problem. Perfect plane. Dumb players trying to turn fight in it. Passive ones running all game. The amount of times iv baited 104's into turning with me is honestly insulting because all you have to do is make them THINK they are winning so they dump all their speed and dont just run. Ah yes... "the bad" section... The section where its just the BRs fault. These planes could be good if they were lower honest! This may come as a shock to you..... But some planes are just bad. And putting a bad plane lower... Is how you end up with the wyvern problem. A plane that has 1 gimmick. Speed. Put at a BR where nothing can catch it because "it was too high to be competitve" before... You need to remember 75% of the props we have in game are there from when gaijin was trying to get the title of "most aircraft in a videogame" or whatever... They didnt care then. they dont care now. 1% of players play them. You put it down. it becomes better. Wow so now 2% of people play the foldered plane instead of just grinding the next one. OR it becomes the most OP thing at that BR and claps. GG you've not fixed the problem just added to it. Love me hunter.... But how do we fix it? Ah yes we put it down in BR to become some other players problem... Like the 104.... "France. And now comes one of the worst parts of this video... the sheer level of "Well actually" that you talk with. You treat and talk to your audience with this air of having ALL the answers for repeating stuff actual players have know for going on a decade now. The players that are the problems dont care. they dont even watch this. they're too busy playing on mobile and being free RP for the rest of us. There were good and bad planes in real life. Balancing things based on performance is how this game goes down the gurgler even faster than it already is. The DDday event is still some of the most fun you can have in WT. While also being the most """imbalanced""" Just because the R3T20 works at 4.0 5.0..... doesnt mean it deserves to be there. Just like the hunter as much as i love it doesnt deserve to be at 8.3 (8.7 might do though but then you still get the 9.7 games) Just like my poor vampire doesnt deserve 8.0 but it still claps there.. Why? DUMB. PLAYERS. Games, especially competitive ones are always chasing this dream of "perfectly balanced"... what does that look like? Because if you stop and think for half a second you come up with the fact that every time you nerf the strongest thing. Something else replaces it. Warthunder is one of those games. Fix one thing. Murder another. Decompress. And stopping power creep is as good as these games will ever get. No amount of "Hurr-durr make wyvern 5.3" will change that. They will still bomb bases. They will still die in the first headon. Other players will still die to them in the first head on until they realise.... "oh wait this is stupid im a better plane if i make him fight this way" And if they just run? Nothings changed cus thats all they do already.
Forgot about the Ju288 at 6.0, the light-bomber with an absurd top-speed that's basically impossible to catch, and extremely potent turrets. Also, controversial take; after buying and using the Wyvern for a while, I don't think it's THAT good of a plane. It's decent if you keep a higher altitude, the guns are definitely the best part about it, but it turns like a brick and it seems like most fighters can easily catch up to it if they're in a shallow dive. It should probably be at like 4.7, MAYBE 5.0 but that's kinda pushing it... it also shouldn't be a rank 4 or 5 vehicle, idk why it's such a high rank but it makes grinding the early jets a breeze.
The Wyvern is one of the most braindead premiums I've ever seen, I hate fighting it. It made props unfun. addendum One thing I noticed with regards to like "zombie planes" one of my friends told me that the F3H-2 Demon is a terrible plane, and don't get me wrong it's flight characteristics aren't always the greatest, poor energy retention and pretty meh turn rate, not the worst but not the best, and you get to fight starfighters because US gets put against US a lot. However, my experience is that the plane is actually pretty good if you use it as a cannon fighter and don't rely on your missiles. so I feel like some planes just get put at whatever BR gaijin deems good enough, the Demon probably overperformed because of its radar missiles even though it has no business being at 9.3 with AIM-9Bs and AIM-7Cs fighting the Starfighter and potentially being uptiered to fight with 10.3s or 10.0s. Hell, even the difference in power between 9.7 and 9.3 aircraft is pretty wide.
1:20 what the hell are you playing against bots ? (I know, you're not.) What is that, who reverse a turn like this, not once, but twice !!!!! what was the f-ing point but letting you aim ? You could be in whatever dogshit plane zombie or not zombie, you'd still murder this kind of cannon fodder in any game of the day. Dude wasted all it's energy to scissor the wind alone and position himself in front of his enemy's gun, even with a b-24 you'd still win this dogfight. Whatever, this game should have died 5 years ago to force the devs to make a move but is still printing money, it's on the community for allowing it to exist in the first place undisputed. Which I can somewhat understand, there's nothing like War Thunder. Ranting on whatever youtube or forum has never changed anything over the 10-ish years of existance of this once amazing game that became a grindfest for whoever isnt whaling and the game modes for "realistic" never actually evolved much past "king of the hill" or "Team Deathmatch" regardles of planes tank or boats, and Sim being completly left rotting on its side of the road. Might as well play something else :)
also let's talk about the yak 15 line, yak 15p, 6.3, it cant catch anything (even he 162, which their speed's been buffed not too long ago)can turn but that's really it, every super props you encounter (f8f 1b, spitfire mk24, ta 152, bf109, f4u) will just have a better energy retention, maximum speed and turn time, and it got only 60 ammos with a canon that lacks velocity, then we have the yak15, what changed? nothing except for the 2 canons and 120 ammos, actually making it a bit slower, then finally we have the yak17, the pinacle of why gaijin cant operate normally, ok it got the front gear landing, but it's in 6.7 and it got a historically innacurate component, his ammos and engine, you see, the engine it has in the game is the same as the yak 15 (RD 10) , when it should be a RD 10A engine, that has 90 more kgf to the plane, it also got less ammos than normal, only 120, let's also talk about the su 9, it is a fridge, you barely turn, ok it is a good boom and zoomer, but got the same problem as the yak 15's, it lack engine power for it's br, meaning that even in a die at max speed, you'll most likely not catch the enemy plane in time before it returns to it's airfield
You know, having checked your gay little stats, I think were both above average players who can kinda look at this differently, for the wyvern, I dont get I never get killed by a wyvern mostly cause most WT players are horrifically bad at this game, but the XP50, SU11, I think it's the psychology of seeing those annoying shits in game thats worse than the actual players flying them who are usually pretty bad!
Not to defend Gaijin or anything, but let's not present this whole "why aren't these planes moved to [insert relevant BR]" thing as if it wasn't for a reason as simple as: Yes, these planes get spammed. By people of ALL skill levels, thus the (very poorly managed) data that reaches Gaijin is diluted by brainless monkeys that have no clue what they are doing and thus the "statistics" end up showing the planes as just fine where they are. Your average Wyvern spammer will beeline to the closest base, if they reach it successfully drop their bomb load, and then proceed to die in the span of about 15 seconds.
Every premium plane or plane I put a talisman on ALWAYS gets BR bumped within weeks after I spend money on them. It has been happening constantly for the last 7 YEARS of playing this game... Should I do everyone a favor and buy the Wyvern?
Just wanted to say I never played the R2Y2 during the golden days only picking it up some time last year. The R2Y2 is still a very capable jet I believe the primary reason people don't play it is lack of interest. And the J7W1 is also viable although your positioning matters a lot more than most planes. I didn't play the J7W1 any longer than I had to, but by the time I moved on I had 17 deaths and 55 kills and 111 ground targets killed
I played the wyvern for a long time at 5.0 in 2016 and I still don't understand how it was lowered so hard. I used it as a strict ground pounder and bomber to bleed tickets and do daily/special tasks in one battle, which meant I only needed to play 2 or 3 games a day to get enough warbonds in 20 days for a 'free' rank III premium with the OG warbond system. That was only 40min or less a day for an easy grind. At 5.0 hahaha.
I play Naval all the time. Only way to make real money in the game. Started naval at around 100,000sl, and in 3-4 months I have all but 2 bluewater ships spaded and half the coastal ships spaded for one country.With nearly 11,000,000sl. Naval is good and almost no-one plays it. Maybe a video about may bring so attention to it at least.

I think it is more about trying to get people into the que so the matchmaker can balance it. A lot of people fly tier 3 and low tier 4 planes to earn silver for their grinds and top tiers. That won't work if there aren't two nations BR that match hitting battle all day. Upper tier 4 is horrible though because of all the Ju-188 spam i think it is? So they try to make something OP on the other side same BR but it can't face 7.3 so they won't raise it though is should be. I am not sure how this all breaks down but yeah the algorithm rules. 90% of Wyvern uses make base runs. So your little niche of how it is used most likely isn't ever going to phase that. Then you have different game modes too, which certain planes do better in than others and that has to be a factor. 4.3 in GF is a whole different animal for that plane. I guess they also nerfed the RP 3s so that had to hurt it too, considering it is so fast, that makes for a tradgedy . They used to be lazers. The worse you are in top tier is only reflected in how bad and how often you are in lower tier trying to make back the money. Not sure if people bot it but I might just considering how bad the economy was when I played. I was also trying to spade all my planes as I went so that kept me from rising much. I am severely disabled though too. lol Takes me a while to shake rust and not hate the game so much that I don't play. Cheers Liniyaka

Despite the huge shitstorm last year, this issue has persisted unchanged. And Gaijin has no intention of doing anything about it. Because none of the drones that bomb in their 30 Dollar Wyverns understand these issues. The War Thunder community and the devs are the most regarded devs and community I've ever encountered. Bar maybe the CoD losers and Ubisoft customers.
Other games are wrong too. You should never balance according to the best players either. Its how you end up with boring "E-sports Ready" sweaty tryhard games. There is a nice middle ground to balancing.
Yeah, France is the worst country, and as a French it infuriates me… But above all is that fucked up BR system. Made me quit War Thunder, this game is an absolute trash and I hope to never play this shit again.
I think its funny naval gets such a bad rap. Its arguably a very very easy way to make money if thats something you need. Or just get enough spawn points and bring out a fighter kill anybodys torpedo or bomber planes. Ive made 2 mil silver in a single session. Just hit things.
It's interesting that they've decided to balance the game by ranking only the planes, instead of the planes AND the players. A plane's performance rating that isn't weighted by the player flying it is not normalized data.
I used to love playing both World of Tanks and War Thunder back in the day. Both games let long-standing problems spiral out of control for the sake of profit while introducing new ones along the way
i got the wyvern recently and holy shit its ridiculously op, its literally better than the br6 tempest2 in practice because of treehug thunder at omegalul 4.3 and even at 5.3 in sim its still the best option at least the game became fun again for awhile lol i got the xp50 like forever ago and its still op? guess i will try that one again too
If the average case of an OP plane is a new player who does nothing but drop bombs, then it doesn't really need a nerf right? You might face Liniyka. But the average case is pretty tame.
When this came out it was such a nightmare I resorted to shark tactics in my bf109.At the start of the match i would not climb at all, just race to the ground units. I would fly at tree top level to ambush them. taking advantage of my TWR with us both at sea level, I could fight them vertically and sometimes it would work, but mostly not. its a good plane
lol I play it it’s slow yes but in my opinion it’s a good break from ground it’s a little more fast paced with costal ships before 2.3+ that’s when more heavy coastal starts going with destroyers
American teams being horrendous is so true, I just got to jets and the amount of morons dogfighting in the f84 is depressing. It is genuinely not that hard to use, all you have to do is climb a little and not turn fight and even a dumbass like me can get 2 kills and an assist every game
What people need to realise, is that if you are going to get taken down and lose a spare plane. Chances are you're going to do everything you can to crash into them head on.... SPITE

No the reason is simple. The way gaijin evaluate brs doesn't take into account players' skill or do not use anymore people to test them and evakuate them objectively.

6:16 they didnt move it from 7.0 to rightaway 8.0 they moved it to 8.0 when it as 7.7 and like a year or two later the br nerf, they nerfed the the 30mm cannons
Wait the J7W1 Shinden? I don't know, I used to love that thing. It wasn't that terrible, and especially it was a good interceptor, in 6.0........ Nightmare of the Ju-288C spam.
The issue is that it's not even that good at intercepting because a single bullet will either break your wing or light you into a fireball. A lot of 6.0 interceptors from other nations (or even japan with the 6.0 heavy fighters) can withstand way more punishment than the J7W. The ONLY good point of the J7W is it's performance at 6km+ ... but in 2024 I haven't seen a single fighter willing to climb at that altitude. That's just sad, even at 5.0 it wouldn't even be an "amazing" plane.
I ready agree with this video (and to say Gaijin is bad at balancing is a huge understatement) but a couple of these seem to just be “fast = overpowered” (Wyvern and F-104, though seemingly the Wyvern is OP because it gets an air spawn and less so because “it speed”) But I feel like that these planes, beyond their speed, don’t really have too much going for them. Granted, I don’t have the F-104, and while I do have the Wyvern I mainly use it for CAS in Ground RB, but it seems to me that these planes can’t really do much beyond boom and zoom unless faced with an opponent with a few screws loose. I mean, one plane I was somewhat surprised to not see in this video given the Wyvern and F-104, is the Scimitar, an absolute bus of a plane, but easily on of if not the fastest sub-sonic jets in the game, at 8.7. I haven’t played it in a while so maybe it’s been powercrept a bit but if you don’t get uptiered too much there’s basically nobody who can catch you in it, and I’ve basically seen nobody call the plane overpowered, mostly because of its piss poor turnrate. Maybe I don’t know shit though, I’m a tank player to a much greater extent than I am a plane player so I could be entirely spewing BS.
Speed is op because you get to pick which fights you wanna take Its why corsairs are absolute beasts despite being flying barges, you can just bait people into bleeding speed with your energy retention and huge engine until they dont have enough energy to fight back
Speed is very important factor in being a fighter, if you know BnZ properly, enemy players won't have any way to react properly, and you won't notice how good speed is on a fighter unless you use a small, light, slow fighter like a Zero, that turns good, but completely outmatched by BnZ player.
