Not only is your voice sublime, and your delivery breathtaking, your diction is exquisite. You sing the very last letter of each word clearly. Just like my singing teacher in theatre school taught me. No swallowing of words and leaving off the last letter, lazily. You are a phenomenal performer.

Hello...I am a 68 year old woman living in the UK. I have been listening to your music for a while now and I have been loving it as it's the music/songs that I've been listening to since my 20's. I have been passing this over for a few years; so glad I finally watched it. I wish I could give it a thousand thumbs up ; still wouldn't be what it deserves. I heard him say something about not doing songs with emotion other than positive ones. He is so completely fit for these kinda of over coming real human emotion video and songs. He enables us to face the negative in life and realize we are OK , our thought are not odd and we shouldn't hide and put our feelings in some secret vacuum and whirl it out into space to rid our crazy selves of them only to have them come back like a boomerang and blind side us with the horror of realizing those feelings are part of our "self". He seems to take on the emotions so real and deep, maybe they are part of him too; letting us see and hear that, if A and B ,then C makes sense and these feelings are ok, they are part of the human condition and we, the ones who feel them and are also affected by Music on a very deep level, are just like Dan, who we admire. Music is a place we retreat to to think, reason, and validate our sanity when our personal environmental preasures spins us into crazy chaos. Affirmation and resolution of these feelings enables us to get up and come out fighting. We are by no means weak people, quite the opposite in fact. " If" we fall, we always rise up and pull others with us. This strength, in part, we get from music; a space where we can retreat in safety for a few moments, where we can pull everything together. We have the hearts and the strength of Warriors. I hope he, and other exceptional artists, never stop showing their true being and never let the music die so we can all more easily realize each time that we are indeed alright; we are not victims, and we share a deep kinship with others. Why did this song move me because believe it or not My exhusband came from the Catholic side of Ireland and my family heritage consist of Kings and Queens. My Great Grandmothers family moved to Ireland during King Henry's rule and became spokes people for the Catholic faith. They were the Blakes of Belmont.
